When we dropped our trailer off with a full ubox, we were told that it would be put up right then and that it didn't need a lock. Three days later, I got a call from the location asking if we were going to come pickup our ubox. I explained to them that we had dropped it off 3 days ago and that it was supposed to be stored. I came to find out that it had set unlocked in their parking lot door 3 days with all of our belongings in it. I went to verify that our items were still in the ubox and then they put it up. When it was time for us to pick up the ubox, I gave 48 hours notice since that is what was recommended. When my husband arrived to retrieve the box he waited nearly 45 minutes to be told it would be another 45 minutes. We had to return later in the day to pick it up because he couldn't wait another 45 minutes. Overall, the staff was friendly and the idea of the ubox is convenient, but I do not feel as if our belongings or time was respected during this experience.Andrew B.

When picking up u-haul equipment, ubox etc; give the customer the professional courtesy to advise you are present on the property.mIn my case I had my lock on to protect your pads from being stolen, they came by at a different scheduled pickup time. took the box and my lock was still on, They charged me, caused a bank charge OD...it was refunded yesterday (5) days after picking up the box and now I am still penalized because I have to wait for it to hit my bank account in maybe 3-5 more days. What an unnecessary headache for me the customer when all they had to do was ring the bell to say Msl Simmons is everything all clear for us to take the box instead of assuming it was full. I was doing something to protect YOUR property and ended up getting the short end of the stick.....This experience has been very stressful for me!lorraine S.
Scheduling my Uhaul was an issue; the site I was sent to did not have the truck I needed and then I was on hold for over an hour- my move was grossly delayed. Then, through the office I setup automatic payments and asked the gentleman twice if we were good to go- turns out we were not. I got the payment due notification, but all of my bills are set up to auto pay and it didn't autopay- I immediately paid and emailed the agent and never heard back. Logged into my account and the auto pay was not set up. So I set it up- the following month was the same issue. This time I called instead, they waived the late fee and corrected the issue. The site does not save properly, and is full of discrepancies (payment never saved properly and misinformation on vehicle availability) . However, majority of Uhaul staff are patient and accommodating- I thank those gentlemen who assisted through each hurdle.Shavon C. | Expérience générale

I was more than pleased by the assistance my parents and I were given by Lamarcus Capers. He went above and beyond to make sure we were completely set up and good to go with our storage unit and instructions. I don't see that kind of customer service often at all anymore so it always catches me off guard when I do. The first van I received was not clean at all. It was filthy. However, the rep was very accomadating and exchanged my van for another. Although it was fairly clean there could have been a better job with cleaning all the vans. There was trash and cigerette butts behind the seats as well as the cup holder and console could have been better cleaned.BIDDIEYA S.
They were busy so I dropped the keys for a later inspection. I was charged an extra 51,00 $ for fuel. I just got gas right before pulling in. Luckily I took a picture of the dashboard at drop off. Your staff is very helpful and my feedback is not about them. Your store had a glitch which caused my account to be erased. No one notified me. Then I tried to upgrade my unit and because if another glitch my lock was cut off. I've also been trying to get a hitch installed. That order also got erased. The staff was friendly however, I reserved an appliance cart to move the appliances I was going to get and they didn't have one....although I reserved it. Not sure how that's possible. That's the point of a reservations. Also, we got into the truck and we were just about to leave and the truck basically shut off on us. The check engine light was on and we had to move everything to another truck. If I reserve something, I expect for it to be available to me. That is the point of reserving it. The location is great and the staff is friendly but there needs to be some upgrading to the system in keeping track of what is available. I have had so many issues with U-Haul that I don't recommend them to anyone and only use this company if absolutely necessary. At this point, U-Haul has gotten so large that it has lost sight of the thing that keeps you in business, your customers. Get it together.Katelyn A.

The truck did not have a full tank of gas (3/4). I was instructed to return the truck with a full tank and I did so. This caused me to have to buy the additional fuel the previous person failed to do. I feel I should be reimbursed for the additional 10 gallons (40 gallon tank) I had to buy. Also the dollie provided was horrible. I told the agent I was moving 2 rooms. They gave me a dollie for moving boxes, not heavy furniture. I told the guy at the pickup location this dollie wouldn't work for what we had to move. He called another location but they didn't have the bigger dollie with the strap. I asked him to call another location and he said he didn't have anything to do with them. This caused an enormous amount of work and made my move a horrible experience. I was also told I earned a free month's storage rental. I obtained a unit on 10/8/21 because I had rented a 26' truck to start my move. I was told the free month could be applied to that unit. When I arrived to the drop location, which is also where I have the storage unit, I was told the free month was only for a new unit, not existing. I explained I just got the unit 4 days ago and was told it could be applied. The agent told me I would need to move my belongings out of the existing unit and move into a new unit to get the free month. Needless to say, I was furious. I told him this wasn't right and left. As I was driving off, he came out to say he found a way to make it work. After this experience, I hope I never have to use Uhaul again.KOREY G.

To make sure that it changes gears properly. On the interstate it didn't seem like it wanted to change gears it got all the way up to 3 1/2 rpm before it started to change gears. The U-Haul also acted like it didn't want to start up twice.Wesley E.

The only good and stress free part about our move was this uhaul location and how understanding they are.
