Staff was very nice and helpful with everything. The only drawback was having one staff, therefore, service was very slow in and out. It took me 40 minutes to get a trailer.Tuan N.
I needed a different ball hitch on my truck and the staff was very helpful in letting me test which size bolt shaft I needed for my vehicle and actually sought me out to see if I needed help getting it installed. They also had an issue with hooking the safety chains on their trailer to my truck since I didn't have the normal set up, but they went out of their way to figure out how to hook them to my undercarriage so that the chains would still do their job in an emergency and I would not need to go and get an entirely new hitch installed on my truck.Steven K.

Had a problem (overcharged) and the 1-800 # folks said it could only be handled by the Littleton store where I picked up the trailer. Called them for 3 days and they never answered. The 1-800 # folks even tried and finally said I would have to drive there and talk with them in person. I made the 70 mile round trip drive and the overcharged problem was taken care of. The manager told me they do not answer their phones due to being to busy and he feels customers in the store are more important then the ones on the phones. I'LL NEVER USE A CORPOTATE STORE AGAIN. Best to use a smaller location where you can get better service. Problem is you have to go where the equipment is located.STEVEN C.

Fabulous service! And the best service I have ever had at a UHaul location in the past 20 years. The owner, Mark, took care of me and was very helpful in explaining all the details of the rental and how to return it. Even though there was a huge line, he was pleasant and cheerful to everyone and did his best to expedite customer needs. If you have a choice of locations, I would go here.Valerie H.

UHaul as a company can be more transparent with what they are charging. I was quoted 19,95 $ then charged 79 $for a rental. The folks at the location were great but UHaul basically pulled a bait and switch and I was pissed. Seems like every time I use a truck there it is way more expensive than what I am quoted. This time the estimate was 35 $and I ended up paying 117 $. That's ridiculousKellie K.

Website issues: I booked an appointment and selected to use my smart phone to verify my pick-up, but the website did not recognize the confirmation number it sent me and I had to go inside and wait for almost a half hour for someone to help me with my rental. The employee who helped me was great, but U-haul should make their in-person checkout faster and make their website work better in general.Stephanie C.

I was disappointed that the trailer that I had reserved and paid for online was NOT at the location I reserved and arrived at on the day of my rental. I was NOT advised that my pickup location had been changed. It was a hassle to backtrack to the updated location. I did not appreciate NOT being notified of the change. Uhaul stole my credit card number and used it to charge me for a rental that was from Patterson, NJ. My contract was for a local van in Littleton, CO for 5 days and approximately 200 miles. Total cost about 220 $. The charge to my credit card was for over 3 000 $. My lawyer will be in touch.JOHN B.

After hooking up the rental trailer to my truck my 4 connecter was not working. It was important to have the rental that day and if my truck were not working I could not safely tow. The staff helped me fix the problem (blown fuse) and I was on my way. The service provided was reassuring, logical and supportive. They had one woman working the front and about 7 customers in line, 2 in front of me and 4 behind me in line. It took nearly an hour for me to get to the front and when I returned hours later the last guy in line was just pulling out in his rental truck. 3 guys in the back getting trucks checked in and ready to go out. At least one guy was just standing there doing nothing the whole time I was out back. You need to realign with your needs and staff accordingly. Once we are checked out we understand it takes a minute to prep the truck /trailer but an hour plus wait for the guy behind me who just bought some boxes. Made him wait for over an HOUR!! You need more people up front and less horseplay standing around out back.Sean C.

The mobile check-in was too slow. Had to wait in line 45mins. Had done all the online work done in advance. Everyone in line seemed to have the same issue which was the cause of the long line. Need to work on the mobile check-in process (which is probably a UHaul issue, not a location issue. Person checking in was working as fast as possible. Otherwise everything else was great. the checkout process was easy and worked well.Elot P.

I like the online system, but it's not intuitive and doesn't work well. I couldn't create an account to do the check in completely online. The lady u-haul was super great and friendly though. I also tried to use the messaging app to let the location know I was running late, but it wouldn't work. Literally, I pressed the button and it didn't work. Lastly, I returned the truck but did not get a check out statement listing the items I paid for. From the online system, I can't tell if the truck is returned. It took 10 minutes for anybody in the store to even acknowledge that I was waiting in line, and the fact that there was one person checking someone out while the other person sat and twiddled their thumbs was really infuriating. Another man came into the store behind me and asked if the man would help him, and the employee stated oh I can't help you you're going to have to wait for her. Why not? I understand that he is the person doing inspections on the vehicles, but is he not cross trained to help when this exact scenario arises? I was not exactly in a bit of a rush but I would have preferred to get out in under 10 minutes which did not happen. I even checked in with all my information online and it still took 20 minutes for them to process my check in. Then, when they processed my check in, I was told that I needed to have a credit card on file, instead of a debit card. I don't carry my credit cards with me and I put one on file online. Nowhere on your website does it state that I need to bring a credit card. So I was going to have to drive all the way home grab my credit card and come all the way back. Had I needed to do that, you would not have gotten my money today. So then, the person checking me out used a mobile device to check me in which apparently allows the system to use the credit card on file instead of swiping one on premise with the computer. Then, the app wouldn't allow her to scan the driver's license. Then, the woman and man decided to bicker at each other about which van they were going to give me based off of its location in the parking lot. I do not care where the van is, just give me one. The experience with the van was perfect - it was clean, and basically brand new with 2000 miles on it. When I went to return it, I was met by the male employee right after the location is closed. He guided me to a specific parking spot and then proceeded to knock on my window and ask me to move the van to a different area and snarkly mentioned that he was trying to point me in the right spot, but I wasn't looking. He seemed really annoyed and just over his day. Needless to say some of this was not directly the employees fault, but the customer service could have been better. Had I gotten out in under 10 to 15 minutes, I wouldn't even be writing this, but I think it's only fair to U-Haul to understand why I will not be coming back to this location nor will I be suggesting it to anybody else. The last thing someone wants to do when they have to move heavy things is wait in line for at least 20 minutes when someone else could have helped them to get out the door and on with their day.Elizabeth B.

The storage area inside was very dark. I also had a bad experience with Mark where he never checked out my unit so I was receiving past notices and whenever I explained the situation to the rep on the phone they just said they were sending info to the manager and I never received a follow up. I filed a formal complaint about 4849 S Santa Fe with U-haul corporate. I was in that location twice trying to resolve issues. With no resolution, I called corporate. The full details of my concern are detailed there. I've used U-haul many times with excellent customer service, so this encounter at store 21 was unusual and shocking. The woman I saw first was seriously unhelpful, stating blatantly false information, refusing to help me, and sending me to another location in error. I was in a second time an hour later and spoke to the manager Mark who refused to even acknowledge his employee's obvious misstep or the impact on me - or apologize in any way. He actually threatened to turn me away if I didn't drop the discussion about how his employee completely misinformed and misdirected me in the first conversation. His behavior was aggressive, inappropriate, and starkly unprofessional. I have obvious mobility issues and he mocked me.
