This was a life saving solution for me following the death of my sister and the subsequent selling of her house unceremoniously. It all fell to me this late night mid- week through a series of additionally unfortunate events. Suffice it to say, this solution was a welcome relief. Also, the manager called me "honey" on both our brief phone interactions which filled me with warm nostalgia from my younger days.... a time I felt loved and seen. A tiny kindness a weary soul like myself won't soon forget. Thanks JL! I will recommend this site highly to anyone in need of this solution. Awesome experience!

Danette H | Expérience généraleThe staff was rude when I attempted a refund due to billing issues. They informed us that if we received the refund we would be locked out and receive late charges. I was under the impression I had a 3 day grace period and when I acknowledged that I was aware I would get a late fee if past a certain point this was when I asked to move forward with the reversal. This was when we were then told that we would be locked out even though we still had 3 days at this point to pay. We ended up removing our things from the unit and even though we did not use the unit for the new month they still refused to give us the money back. They stated that if we wanted to move out and not be charged we would have had to tell them in advance. This was also never mentioned until we were already attempting it.They never mentioned that it cost extra for 24 hour use and never offered it to begin with so we were unaware it was something extra we had to pay for. It make's absolutely no sense that we have to pay for a storage unit that we did not use.

She was patient with me and took extra time after the posted closing hours to ensure I could access the storage area very early the next morning. My biggest concern was the space available and the hours since they had our truck reserved for another customer at 10 and we wanted to make sure it was empty and turned in on time. She took the time with me to go over how to access the area, how to pull the truck in, find the right storage area, open and lock it-- and the hours we could earliest access it. She even took my call early the next morning when I forgot a step in the card procedure. I will always go here first for any moving and/or storage needs. I must have kept her past 8:30 on a Friday on a holiday weekend night and would definitely buy her dinner for her friendliness, helpfulness and compassion-- it had to have been a very long day for her.

The only comment I have is that the truck was supposed to be picked up in Clermont, Florida, a few miles from our move from destination, but we were later told we had to pick it up in Orlando, which was quite a drive at a very busy time. I felt even if there was no truck in Clermont, an effort should have been made to get one there from Orlando. That would have been better customer service.

Once I stopped by the office, the young lady was very helpful and explain the process to me thoroughly. It's a fairly new location, so I was very impressed with the drive in option to unload my vehicle. I am in upstate New York so it will def be more convenient dealing with the elements.

She never came and put the code in for the door to open so the assistant manager informed us to just jam something in the way of the door so it can't close. She also refused to let us use any other door other then the door right out front of the building with a couple other people trying to unload there uhaul truck. So this was very inconvenient for us and the other people coming to there units because we were blocking there way. Grace stated the other doors did not work or there is no way for the other door to be monitored so you need to park in from of the building. So this caused the diesel truck we were loading to be blocking cross walk. Multiple other customers were upset we were parked in front of the building like that and kept making rude comments to us. Once we emptied the hole storage unit I went in to talk to find out what we need to do with the key card and also if it was possible to rent a trailer. She was still extremely rude. I wasn't until I made a comment about calling and making a complaint about her she wanted to become helpful. She called me about 30 mins after and stated she got us a trailer set up to pick up Monday at 9:30 at a different location.

I was looking for a climate controlled unit - and it is really super. The price is very good - and the people in charge are very helpful. I have options for sign in which I like a lot too. It was a little confusing the first time for the sign in - but other than that - everything was great. I plan on keeping this unit for a while.

I was a onetime paying customer. But I was called out of town for a family emergency for extended period of time, yes I did get behind last 2 months but when I tried to pay the 2 months in full before the next month they wouldn't remove all add on fees . Only way for me to not pay extra fees was for me to vacate my storage unit . Uhaul got paid for the time I had unit so they didn't lose any money, although they did lose a customer. I was told by one employee that U haul doesn't care about 1 customer which I find truly insulting. The storage fees I feel are on the high side and add ins like 10 dollars extra for 24 hour access. and you must buy a lock and buy insurance. I canvassed other storage facilities that give you a lock and dont charge extra for 24 hour access or make you buy insurance. Ben was very helpful and Mark was accommodating for us to get our stuff out of unit. Thank for this opportunity to Express my experience.
