This location is very near my house, which is why I returned as a customer. and I'm so glad I reserved my rental online. The mgr of this place is the rudest person I've encountered in customer service ever! Everything is “off” at this location and I truly hope a competitor opens anywhere near so that I can take me recurring business elsewhere.

I showed up as the office was closing and one of the employees there was moving some of the trucks around. He refused to speak but rather choose to grunt and point when I had questions. Also, why am I being charged a $20 after-hours fee? What more do you have to do to warrant this additional charge?

Access not adequate. Broken tecknology often prevented my access to my daily working tools and coat me revenue at work many days. Wide door access ( which my tools require) was limited to 7pm instead of the agreed 10pm. This limited my revenue also. The area was clean. The teck card swipe access was not maintained. Phone calls to the main company were not effective. I was told by corporate that the onsite manager had to fix this. The on site management said I had to speak to corporate amd only c9roorate could fox this . Communication was dysfunctional. I left and went to competitors for better service at a cheaper price. The on site people were fine.

The attitudes on some of the employees here is TERRIBLE! Also, also u can not count on them to be open in the morning, I've have waited with a line of other clients in the morning for the store to be open on many occasions when they were 10-15 min late opening, only to be met by a really bad mood and unapologetic and I talkative employee.

Staff at the pick-up location were rude and unhelpful. The inside of the 26' truck was full of dog hair. The cup holder was broken leaving nowhere to place coffee for the 948 mile drive.

You need a frequent renter program. I have been renting from U-haul for over 20 years and you still act like its the first time. Management at the store is great but she still has to jump through all the hoops every time. I have a record with your company you should recognize that.

The pre rental inspection photos that I took could not be downloaded to the online form. It made it impossible to document preexisting damage as requested. Otherwise, the St Claude location in New Orleans was excellent, as always. Very efficient and friendly staff, thank you!

The staff at this location was unprofessional and rude. They failed to give me the option to use my own insurance to cover my use of the vehicle and instead charged me an extra $14. Plus they closed the office before 5PM on Sunday and told me, "we closed our register...so just go online to close out your ticket." Either you're going to be open to 5PM or not...

I didn't have the size truck I needed, so I was given a smaller truck, which meant I had to make more than one trip and pay more for the movers...and not only that, but the first truck I was given was filled with a roach infestation, so I couldn't use it.

Didn't expect a 3 gallon fuel charge…I returned it half full (the same amount at pickup)…I got my receipt and the charge after I left. I'm certain I filled the truck back to half and drove less than one mile to the St Claude Uhaul. I will wait until the vehicle is completely checked in next time…

The customer service I received at this location was an extremely bad attitude, negative and bordering on hostile. They acted like it was imposition to do their jobs and facilitate the rental. Worst customer service and disrespectful that I have experienced.

Not only was the van covered in dried paint when I got it I had problems opening the back of the van to inspect it wasn't until I brought the van home to load it and The person helping me manage to figure out how to open the back of the van. I did call again and I did speak with someone he was very nice but explained to me that he did not understand how to do it and that I should go back to the location and have them open it for me. Within that time frame my friend managed to get the van doors open. I do wish I had gone back to the location as if I had, then the attendant would have seen the Splattered dried white paint which had obviously been there for a very long time, we would've all witnessed in the same moment and that would've occurred to everyone that it wasn't something that I did. Of course, if the van have been inspected prior to my renting it there would've already been a documentation of the dried paint so Not only was there dried paint but after my return I was told that I scratched the top of the van which of course I did not do so it's obvious this van was not inspected. This van was clearly not inspected before the dispatch. The people at this location have consistently been rude over the years I am very nice I suck it up because it's the location nearest my house. I understand that they may be unhappy perhaps they don't like their jobs I'm not sure what the situation is but I will also say that the gentleman who used to work outside were very nice very friendly and very accommodating. None of the women who have ever worked there have been Pleasant, safe for one lady who has been brought over from the location on two lane for a while to try to help straighten the situation out here and that was a several years ago. When the current manager JIDE was hired, I was very optimistic as she had a more professional attitude. Although I will say still hot and cold with Customer Service. So after my return which I did the 24 seven share because I really didn't want to have to have anything to do with the on-site employees, I was told which I clearly didn't but I was told that I had damaged and splattered paint in the inside of the van. There is no way in the world that paint would've been splattered inside of that van and dried completely after 24 hours. So was my experience good, no but I recommend this location to anyone no absolutely not I would tell them to drive across town and go to the U-Haul on two Lane where everyone there is not only professional but actually happy and pleasant to deal with. After my return I was very upset about getting accused of damage which I clearly did not do and simply said great y'all won I will never rent here again and then the manager, JIDE let me know several times very clearly my exact home address, to go home, to my exact home address which she continued to repeat in a threatening matter and I am feeling threatened right now. I am getting outdoor cameras, I have filed a police report because I want people to know and to be aware of the fact that this employee of Uhaul has announced with my very confidential address and information that she knows where I live in a manner that she could take action and I feel threatened.

Everything was great, staff was helpful and professional. My only issue was the truck I rented was in the back squeezed in a tight spot with lots of obstacles to avoid. I'm not very comfortable backing out a 16' ft truck. I did it, but it would've been less stressful for me if someone had pulled it out for me or even guided me a bit.

I was told to leave the trailer and they would check it in when they had time, and they would send me an email confirming the return, I did not get an email. the following day I got a call asking me if I returned the trailer they did not know that the trailer was in there lot ,finally after three days and many attempts to call on the phone I finally got through and confirmed that they had the trailer, need to improve the return process

I have to say that in every way I absolutely hated my UHaul experience. I signed up to pick up a truck for a particular location, the one which worked the best for me and my timing, but I was assigned a different pick up location, an hour from my original choice, which had the wrong equipment and was not open on the day that I booked pickup. After calling multiple, multiple people, some of whom were truly extraordinarily rude, I was able to pick up the truck at a better location but not at the original time which I had booked months in advance. The truck can was dirty and smelled like sour bleach and old weed. It was disgusting. The customer service representatives at the location were rude and unhelpful. Between this and my negative experience with the drop off location as well I can honestly say that I will do everything in my power to never use UHaul again, and I will be sure to tell anyone who is considering using their services to try any other possible option for moving. I paid an exorbitant amount of money for my move to be made much more of a hassle than it needed to be.

Ms. Brooke-Lynn Foster was very knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and professional. It was an extremely hot day in New Orleans yesterday and I she could see the heat had taken a toll on me. Ms, Foster gave me a bottle of ice and offered me a chair to cool down while she prepared my documents. She is an excellent representative for your company and went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations!

Was not advised when I called to say I would be late returning the trailer that I would be charged an extra day and a fee for dropping it off after the store was closed. If I had been told, I could have returned it in daylight and saved the 20 after hour fee.

The lady at the counter was very rude even the gentleman checking out in front of me mentioned the same thing. I was not told where the truck was, I had to wander through the lot looking for it. There was no customer service provided at all.

3 Customers in line. 1 office worker. Office worker took multiple phone calls including personal calls while the customers listened and waited. Incredible attitude when the shop employee came in, literally saying all the customers "have been like this all day." All 3 of us were frustrated and it took 48 minutes to pick up a pre-reserved trailer and they did not adjust the rental time to reflect the delay. 1/10 will not be returning

i have had many amazing customer service experiences with u-haul in the last month; this was NOT one of them. such absolute rudeness from the lady running the counter. she called the secondary number from my file immediately, and without consent, and started barking at my sister on the other end of the line. when i told her this wasn't my experience the week before renting a trailer from canada down to Louisiana, and how the Kenner staff was so kind and polite, she informed me this was the "new U-haul". the slow-moving line was filled with people who were scared of interacting with her. we all acknowledged the insanity like prisoners dealing with an irate prison guard. my previous positive experiences with u-haul convinced me to actually buy u-haul stock; this experience made me want to sell it immediately. honestly, if she doesn't like her job, she should find something else to do. the Kenner branch is filled with lovely and kind people, from the manager on down. this location suuuuuucked.

I was in need of storage and the Uhaul on St Claude was definitely not the best price, n'or did it have AC, but location was important to me. I signed up on line and had the customer representative help me with the rest. Took about 30-45 minutes from start to finish. She then walked me over to the entrance, explained how to get in and then pointed to a STAIRCASE and told me there was no elevator. Get the heck out of here!!!! I wanted to scream. I had to walk away to compose myself. Had to cancel the entire transaction. Complete waste of my time. I hope I never go back for a truck rental or anything. Customer service reps NEEDS to explain this ASAP. Makes NO SENSE to have a second floor and no elevator. DUMB!!!!!!!

My unit flooded several times, and was never addressed. I request, nothing, I notified the facility, the insurance company, and even YOUR legal department...AND NO ONE RESPONDED!

My storage was not secured I have items missing and they allowed someone that was family in my storage and took items out of my storage my storage was in my niece name Monica Ramsey before I took her off and put it in my name because I figured out what they was doing to secure my storage and on top of that they tried to block me from paying my storage rental I had somewhere else . When things you put into a storage unit is not secured and employees allow other people to go in there when I was paying my storage myself is not COOL on all levels . My niece had the keys and key card before I got to New Orleans so she was able to do whatever before she gave me the keys to the lock and access card to get in. This is really not cool at all

I was a ten year storage customer. At check out I was charged ten dollars to put one trash bag in the dumpster. Office attendant was definitely not friendly. Mice and rat feces littered the floor and holes chewed through walls

The ladies at this location are awesome. They made a difficult time so much easier. Renting a storage unit in many cases indicates a personal trauma, transition and possibly economic hardship. Over the last two years I've been a customer because of some extreme difficulty ... I can't tell you how above and beyond these ladies go. The manager of this facility is amazing, but unfortunately everyone else is slow and unhelpful. Multiply the manager by 5 and it would be great. Everything takes 30 minutes longer than it should.

Our boxes had mice chew marks, on every corner of some boxes, after only 3weeks of storage. I'm glad I got my stuff out before more damage was done. Dead mouse in hallway as I was moving out. no bueno

The unit we moved into for storage had oil spilled on the ground and there were definitely rats about as i would see their droppings despite the rat poison containers.
