I rent this van twice a year to pick and return my son back and forth to kenosha college. Manger Vinice is always polite and helpful.I rented the van on Monday 9/2 to return my son back to school and it turned out I needed to keep it overnight due to a mix up on the move in date Vince was very helpful on letting me keep the van overnight.Thank you

I needed an extension for the truck given complications moving in. I got an extension through corporate’s customer service. The rep said the extension would be $94, a $30 increase in fees that were originally $62. She told me that the extension would mean being charged for 2 days. I was told I could bring the truck back by 7:30 AM without incurring additional fees. Everything I was told was an absolute lie. I was charged $94 in addition to the $64 I was charged at the initial check in. I brought the truck back 5:30 on Saturday (14 hours before it was due back), and I was charged for after hour returns. I was also charged for 3 days as a penalty for extending my rental which I was not educated on over the phone. U-Haul is either shady in business practices or their employees are not properly trained to give exemplary customer service. I will never use U-Haul again nor will I recommend this company to anyone else for moving.

The entire process was seamless and so efficient! The owner helped us with the rental details when we arrived, and the van was waiting for us right outside the door when we walked out. When we returned the van, there was someone right there to direct us where to leave it. He was polite and friendly which really finished off the experience in the best way.

Fuel was marked full, but after driving 11 miles I had topped off the tank with almost 6 gallons of gas. I was refused any compensation for the previous customers not filling the tank. This is an unfair practice The previous customer should be charged for their inconsiderate behavior..

While the people at this location were fine and gave me a partial refund, I was never supposed to be at this location in the first place. My reservation was not available when/ where I reserved it, and the guy told me 'maybe in 3-4 hours.' After a lot of holding on the phone, I got a replacement here. But it wasted almost an hour of my time and ruined the schedule I had with multiple movers.

We were supposed to pick up the truck in Brookfield. I was called the night before and informed it would be in Mequon, which is the opposite direction of our move. When I said that would not work, I was instructed to call Uhaul. I called Uhaul and was informed that they had already given our 20 foot truck away and there were no more available within 50 miles. We had to go with a 15" truck and make extra trips.

My major gripe is with the false advertising. When I signed up for the truck, it was for a truck with $0.10/mi charge in addition to the daily rate. When i booked it, it was $0.89/mi. Had I known that upfront, I would have rented from Home Depot.

The unit I paid for had a lock on it. It took staff almost 3 hours to respond to get me another unit.

Once I arrived to the u it there was a lock on the one I was suppose to be using. I emailed and called. Someone was suppose to come cut the old lock. We’ve been waiting g for over1:45 min
