I knew I was renting a "truck", not a family vehicle but windows were totally dirty, several error codes were lite at various times, most notably "oil change required" and low tire pressure error. Staff informed at return. Staff at desk was great at check out. Return was simple and timelyCHARLES G.

pick up time at 9AM and didn't receive the truck until 11. The truck had a dead battery, there was a line around the corner that I waited 45 minutes in and the gas line was said to be at 3/4 but so I got charged for more gas then I used. totally unacceptable. I also had movers that were helping me at 9:30 but i didn't get there til 11:30 so i was charged for 2 hours of them sitting and waiting for me to get there. Will never use this again.MARK H.

Scheduling, changes by Uhaul, and last minute unavailability was completely against a good customer service. I was told the location I had confirmed was not available after I had confirmed. If the location is not available, Uhaul should not allow customers to even book in the first place. In addition, I was told that my equipment had been downgraded from a 15' to 10' truck with a broken mirror the last minute, with a one-way route. The agent had changed all of this online without my consent. This is really unacceptable considering how stressful moving is on its own.PARNIAN S.

I'm 65, and I have used storage facilities several times over the years, as my job frequently had me relocating throughout the country. BY FAR, this U-HAUL Facility has been THE BEST I've ever used. I was continuously impressed by how clean the facility had been kept, and the convenience of having an elevator (which was ALWAYS working properly whenever I need it) and a very well-lighted facility provided great value for my money spent. Customer service needs serious improvements and training. UHaul canceled our truck 2 days before our big move and left us high and dry despite being booked a month earlier. When notifying us of this, there was no sympathy or apology. Offered no solution or assistance, just a rude call from Joshua H. saying they weren't giving us a truck anymore and there were no UHaul trucks available anywhere in MA. We asked for a call from his manager and it never happened of course. We spent the entire last day of our family vacation calling all moving companies in Massachusetts while listening to our children cry and their disappointment of not being able to enjoy the rest of our vacation which costs me thousands. On our travel back home, we tried calling uhaul again after never hearing back from the manager and we got a different individual. FINALLY a gentleman who actually spoke with kindness and informed us there was a truck available at your location on Hammond Street in Worcester. So the entire time they could have found us another truck and saved us an entire day of stress and tears. We had nowhere to put our belongings and almost lost everything we own and we didn't even get an apology when it was an issue from their end. THEN we got our truck, moving pads were missing from the truck and dolly was detached making it appear we would need to be charged for it. Finally late to move out and an entire weekend of stress, we returned our truck to rude lady who yet again confirmed we will never use uhaul again. What an absolute nightmare. What do you need to improve you ask? EVERYTHING, but especially your customer service. Being kind goes a long way, never again we will consider uhaul.Terrence R.

It goes with saying that customers drive a business but if this business is not as hard working then sometimes things don't work so smoothly. All I can say is that this facility will be highly recommended to anyone & everyone considering all employees are courteous, respectful, more than accommodating, professional as well as taking the entire experience to the next level of comfort and ease was refreshing. No I am not an employee, I am however a recent customer who was homeless and treated with the utmost respect including helping me out in many different ways throughout the process. I always felt like Family and welcomed regardless of the day or situation, that is very hard to come by these days. The people who work at this location are always genuinely great. Very kind and helpful employees! Unfortunately this is the second time I have arrived and found that the vehicle I had reserved was not availableâ€"a remote CS agent had extended another customer's time with it. I had not received any communication from U-Haul about the change before I showed up at the location. The replacement vehicle I got happened to be fine for my purposes today, but that is not always the case. That sort of error can really interfere with someone's life and shouldn't be able to happen so easily.WILL M.

The staff members at this location are friendly and helpful - more so than most UHaul locations I've been to. However, they are doing all the jobs, which means the customer service desk is not covered for long stretches of time. It could be helpful to have someone to cover just the desk for each shift. The manager, though, was super impressive! She has a great way of talking with customers to make them feel welcome, and also shows genuine concern for her employees, making sure they are well hydrated and not overworked on a busy evening on one of the hottest days of the year. Second time I have made a reservation days in advance , had 3 missed calls the night before my reservation, answered and the person hung up tried to cal back and of course it was closed , then next morning tried messaging in 3 hours in advance on 3 separate occasions as well as Called location no answer funny , so I get there and I would assume the â€œmanagerâ€ is acting like it's my fault saying even tho he has been there for 3 1/2 hours already didn't have time to check reservation or answer the phone that even tho I tried and got a ride there that I'm pretty much screwed â€¦ staring at me while getting an attitude I said well there's 5 other trucks outside can I take one of those he said no those were reserved ? I said well so was mine? He just stared at me rolling his eyes . I said ok so I called and even gave you guys all morning to answer me back with messages and calls and now I'm just out of luck , then told me he would give me a box truck for the same price ?? Well no ! It's an extra 20cents a mile , I said so wait I can't have one of the several trucks you have here and you aren't gonna help me in anyway what is my option ? He said take it or leave it . So disgusted and not having a ride and needing to pick up my daughters bed I took it . This is not how you talk to customers , I've been in sales and retail for 16 years and never would try to intimidate or act like such an inconvenience to help a Cusotmer . Again . Second time this has happened made a reservation , no calls no warning get there and no truck last time I picked up and did mobile pick up for there at 7:30 no key no code no truck , called no answer . Had to walk 9 miles home at 730 at night through main st Worcester , terrible area . Then when I call the next day to tell then what happened the kid says to me â€œumm yea sorry I forgot to leave the key for you â€œ I said well I need the truck â€œ he replied well I rented it this morning !!! Again sending messages via the uhaul app abd my contract with no answers or care about Cusotmer service . Again I'm sure this like my last email will be disregarded and nothing will be done , so read this and I guess move on to the next : that's why you will never have quality people work there. Nevermind the 4 customers that walked out of the store today while the â€œmanagerâ€ was talking to me like I'm an idiot for there screw up . Tell him he can try to intimidate and flex on people and talk down to them all he wants , it just makes it that much more of a joke to have someone working for your company .PATRICK O.

Antonio, who did the install was great, very courteous. It would be nice if there was seating for customers to sit and wait for the hitch installation. Nothing bad on uhaul, but some of the other customers were being loud and obnoxious while I waited for my hitch install to be finished.Daniel G.

The staff here is great and goes above and beyond. When I arrived to the facility to check-in for my storage unit, the gentle man outside greeted me and offered to help with my rental as I also had a truck to return. I originally booked a 10x10 unit but changed my mind last minute to a 5x10, and they were very accommodating. There was a computer issue that caused me some delays but the manager exceeded my expectations and stayed after hours to resolve the issue and made sure I was able to get into my unit. Moving can be stressful and exhausting. Jennifer Rivera was understanding of that and made my experience better by being friendly, professional, and accommodating.
