The truck I rented had the check engine light come on. I suspect it was a bad/incorrect size gas cap. Also the door was extremely hard to open and close. Almost like the pulley's weren't working very well. Otherwise the staff was friendly and fast.Sara M.

The customer service was good. It's always good. However the truck was gross and had not been cleaned. There were a few bloody bandaids throughout the truck and some in the cup holder. The windshield sign was left on the floor in the truck and the dolly in the back was not attached to anything. Kind of disappointed with the cleaning situation considering we've been living in a pandemic the last 2 yrs.MONIQUE B.

There is one particular employee that I interacted with on several occasions. She did my checkout. The employee name on my Customer Receipt (751025-112955-209668) says Analisa Gordon. I hope that is the person I am speaking of. In my encounters with her, she provided excellent customer service and professionalism to a degree I am not used to in these modern days. I could not say enough good things about her. She should be the head of Customer Service training for your organization. I can't imagine. There were an adequate number of employees present to handle customer traffic. The employees were quick to ask if they could help me. The process of picking up the van was quick and easy, as I had completed most of the paperwork online. The venue itself was clean, well - stocked, and well - organized.Chris M.
The 26-ft long U-Haul van that I got had quick claim stickers all over it from insurance claims. The hand truck which should have been secured was left unsecured and rolling all over the truck when I picked it up. If I drove the truck at anything over 40 miles an hour it shook like crazy which is the complete antithesis of gentle ride equipped as advertised. The truck in general is what I would classify as a piece of crap. Yes it got the job done but I wouldn't say it was quality.ANTHONY VAUGHN C.

I often had to seek out my packages even though they were suppose to be put in my unit. Also, it started to smell like Marijuana clearly from the staff ( I saw them) over the last few months which is just a turn off for a professional place of business. The truck was awful. There is something wrong with the transmission. The seat adjustment was crammed under the seat. I had to get out of the truck to adjust it. Then I get charged double the rate and don't know why. I tried calling and I was on hold for over 30 minutes.Temma C.

Piles of garbage everywhere. A sheet of broken glass like a table top was next to the dumpster at 9 am when we picked up and still there at 5 pm when we dropped off. Only one employee at pickup who was nice but super busy. Two employees at drop off that were not friendly. We waited 10 minutes in the truck at drop off for someone to come out like the sign said and finally when inside. Both employees were there and blew us off. Truck was in poor condition. We told the employees about the issues with brake dust and drag and they already knew about it. Never received a receipt so I have no idea what I was charged for either.COURTNEY ANN B.

Inquired extensively about after hours return of trailer with U-Haul Rep. He appeared quite helpful explaining the process. The problem... It wasn't the entire process. He conveniently failed to mention that I must take pictures and check in at 3 in the morning in an extremely dark parking lot. This resulted in a 20 $'convenience' charge that I _Should_ have known about (his words) because it is in the fine print of a tiny contract that he didn't PRINT but only e-mailed. In my past experience with other U-Haul dealers, they have not only printed the contract... they have yellow highlighted important information like an online check-in from your phone in a very dark parking lot with zero security. On top of this, U-Haul double charged my CC. Not only was the original 42 $charge on the card but the second 62 $charge was also charged resulting in 105 $bill on my CC. Very poor service. A day before my move, Uhaul agreed to give me additional miles. I saw the additional miles on my reservation. However, when I returned the truck, I was charged for more miles as the additional miles I was given the day before was removed from my reservation. I called customer service so I can move from a large storage to a smaller storage. A customer service rep have me a price and reserved it for me. One I got there the rude young lady at the desk told me I had to pay a month on the storage I was moving out of and pay for the new one. I called customer service again and they said that was incorrect after they got me out of 270 $!!!! It doesn't make any since that they made me pay for a storage that will be empty!!! The GM NEVER returns any messages or calls!!! They can't do nothing right and always gives you wrong information and over charging me. I still have not received an emailed receipt even though I got this survey. When I returned the van, there were 2 representatives at the counter, yet neither went out and inspected the vehicle and did not give me a receipt right away. There was no one else in the store, why do they wait until you leave to do the check-in? Seems like potential for billing for charges when you are not a witness.WILLIAM CARL I.
On September 23, 2021 I rented a 5 x 8 enclosed trailer. I returned it that day the same day and I did not get a receipt. The employee checked the trailer and told me I was good to go. Because this employee did not do his job and check the trailer in U-Haul charged me an additional 228,51 $ stating I returned the trailer eight days later. Which I did not. There also is an additional hold on my bank account for 199,97 $ to be paid do you haul again. All because an employee did not do his job and check in the trailer I returned the same day and put my money Unavailable to me. I called U-Haul customer service and spoke with oh woman who put in a request, I don't request for me to get my money back.Horrible experience!!!!JOAN ELIZABETH H.
Not happy with my return of truck. Over estimated milage but no return on lower milage usage. Guy that took the truck back was almost rude. Truck was a piece of crap, but most rentals are, that wasn't an issue. Haven't heard anything from uhaul except this invitation to review them.PAMELA JO B.

I would have loved to see the rental truck cab at least vacuumed out. I had cigarette ashes everywhere. A proper clean sweep of not just the cargo but also the cab would be appreciated. Also the last minute switch of trucks wasn't right. I could not even give a proper check- over with the website provided( truck didn't match up). And don't even get me started with the after hour return app (completely useless).ANDREA V.
Understaffed. When I went to bring the vehicle back, the person couldnt be bothered with me. Annoying. Wouldnt look at me in the face and acknowledge my presence. Couldnt tell me he was busy with someone else.. I was a great big ol nuisance for him. My pick up date was Saturday, august 28,2021.My pick up location and pick uptime changed multiple times between this location and the dunkle location. Which caused issues with my moving help. I then was told dunkle had no available trucks nor did they see anything for me( even though I had/have received multiple emails for pickup changes) then Uhaul confirmed with them that my pickup location would be s. Waverly rd. I picked my truck up and it was extremely old, the steering wheel alignment was off, yet they still gave me this safety hazard truck. They knew the alignment was off when they drove the truck up, and didn't disclose this to me. The taillight was out, I found this out when moving because the police pulled me over and thankfully he didn't give me a ticket. Also the breaks didn't work well, sounded like there was air in them or something wrong with the breaks as well. It was unacceptable to have to experience this especially when I reserved my truck in advance. The steering made it hard to drive this huge 26â€ truck not to mention it should have never been given to a customer with so many issues.Tottionna A.
Not make it a two day hassle to return boxes. Your employees claimed the system was down. I went to another location and told them that waverly's system was down and without even checking was told that if there's is down so is ours. I then went to a third location and the system was fine but couldn't process my return because they didn't know how to change the card on file because I got a new debit card so they couldn't refund my inactive card. Finally an Associate at waverly figured it out after driving around town for two days with my car full of boxes!MAX FRANCIS F.

I've only had one problem and it had nothing to do with the facility itself. It was with an employee. The employee wasn't wearing a mask, but the staff was making the public wear one or they couldn't come in. I would prefer to have 24 hour access to the climate control storage spaces. Additionally, I was surprised to see a rodent trap in our bin and will be checking to see how and who will be periodically checking the trap for removal of any rodents since I am the holder of the key for the lock?
