Went in for my first time just needed a van for a mattress and box spring. Only going less than 50 miles. Was charged 70 dollars at first, thought it was kinda expensive. The guy working was decently nice but the two females were rude to me probably made fun of me/ laughed at me when I left because I was just making sure if I needed to stay for them to verify that the van looked good before I left. Made me feel like I asked a stupid question or something. Did not make me feel welcomed at all and just wanted to get out of there.ALLISON R.
our pickup location was changed and we were given fewer miles from new pickup. we needed those extra miles; i called U-Haul and he claimed to make a note of it, but i would need to still talk with C/S. when he transferred me, it was going to be a 42 minute hold...ridiculous! that screams that they don't care enough to have adequate help or even return the call later. of course, my final bill did NOT have the credit for the extra miles. overall the in person rental interaction was average and the company phone/internet processes simply suck.Dean S.

I had a concern about the way the truck was operating. I pulled over and called the phone number (which appeared to be a local number of where I picked up truck) on the paper which was given to me when I picked up truck. I was sent to a series of prompts which never put me in touch with a real person who could answer my question. This was extremely frustrating...TERRENCE D.
There were issues that developed with the rental truck while we had it. Upon return I discussed this with the staff. They were immediately responsive and left me feeling my concerns were addressed quickly and handled professionally. Will definitely use again if needed.JOSEPH M.

Truck rented was not full of gas as stated on contract. I returned full but was not given a discount from the truck being down two lines at pick up. The truck also needed an oil change but no one seemed too concerned about this.JEREMY P.

My boxes where originally scheduled to arrive may 27th uhaul then canceled my reservation and created a new one with a date of June 10th that day was again changed to June 14th I had to fight with uhaul daily to get them to finally honor the original contract they canceled not me then I was charged for storage on boxes that should have already been delivered I had to wait a week for a refund and again on delivery I was charged 135$ for them dropping my boxes off late I was told I'd get money off the back end of the deal for the additional four days the boxes would be late that also never happened was a awful experienceJohn C.

MY experience was awesome! However in the course of my experience, there was a customer there for 2hrs insulting and berating the employees and making phone call after phone call trying to get them in trouble. I understand that an employee made a mistake, but he did not deserve what I heard coming out of this guy's mouth. I have been in customer service for over 30 years, and on many occasions, I have been frustrated by incompetent employees...what happened yesterday was nuts! PLEASE (as someone who was there) support your employees on this matter...they dealt professionally with every customer around this man's tyrade.Enigmah A.
The original pick up location (rockland not Augusta) I went to get the trailer from resembles a junk yard, not a garage. After hooking my truck to a trailer, the owner of the garage wasnt able to rent the trailer to me because of an issue in the computer system. Due to this, I had to drive an extra hour each way to get the trailer I needed. When I went to drop off the trailer after hours, neither the website or the app worked. I am amazed that this company has managed to stay afloat despite the absolute horrible customer service.HUNTER S.

Heather Poore is OUTSTANDING! First, she took my initial phone call, answered all my questions and made me feel comforted in having to handle a last-minute, unplanned move of my college student due to coronavirus. Then when I arrived from NJ the next day, her smiling face met me and she again calmly explained everything and got me set up. This is my first time renting storage; she was patient, helpful and didn't rush me. Then I made three trips to the facility in the next 24 hours. I was impressed with the cleanliness, the access to carts, the security, etc. I can't say enough about how Heather went above and beyond and how all the little things she did added up to reducing my stress in a time when I greatly appreciated it. Also, thanks for the one-month free for displaced college students. I thought that was a very classy and empathetic move by UHaul.
