Rented a trailer that ended up being to small for the move. Returned it within an hour of them opening and was billed a full day. Also had issues with the employee outside. Asking me repeatedly to back the trailer into a tight spot instead of using their mule to do so. I don't do well in backing trailers up.Brian M.

Office personnel (James & Katherine) were professional, extremely helpful and courteous. They answered our questions, made updates as per our request, explained how to find and enter our rented units, after hours entry process. Plus, they made sure we understood after hours rental truck drop-off. James and Katherine went well above what I expected and gave great customer service. Our storage space was really clean, easy to get in and out of and there were plenty of dollies provided for our use. We couldn't be happier with U-haul!! I am giving this rating only to the GM Josiah and his staff at the Carrollton location for going beyond customer service to assist me. I will only communicate and contract my moving needs with his location from this point The initial online experience in my truck and moving needs were horrible and cost me more money and wasted time. Online customer service provided me with a moving company that was 2 kids in a car with no packing experience. They had no tools or supplies to secure my things. UHaul chose the wrong size truck for my long distance move and the worst packing experience ever! I had to secure another truck to move and store my additional furniture and secure a storage unit locally so that I did not abandon my things. I will now have to pay for a moving box to bring my things to Florida after paying $2000 initially. If I had not had Josiah to try and correct and resolve these major issues I don't know what I would have done. Again this rating is only for his location.CYNTHIA S. | Premières impressions

I was there with my friend at 5:40 and we asked some questions about policy for drop off. One of the person at the register was so aggressive and did not respond properly. We did not get answered so we had to contact to customer services.Solee C.
Horrible experience. The truck I got was in horrible condition. Parts were broken, headlight was out, gas wasn't even half full. On top of that I got charged a gas fee for not returning the truck at half tank even though I had told an employee that the truck wasn't half full when it was given to me and they had said it was ok to return it with less than half tank of gas.CINUE H.

i had a reservation with the total price clearly listed via the uhaul website yet when I go to this location I still have to wait and wait and wait for over an hour for someone to help me, which is ridiculous for a trailer that is sitting ready to go. Once I finally get someone to help me the uhaul desk person tells me that it's going to cost me more than double the cost of my agreed upon reservation via the uhaul website. I tell the person that they need to check the price on my reservation again and when the employee see the price on my reservation then the person appears agitated because I didn't fall for the employee playing the â€œbait and switchâ€ hoping I would pay a higher rental price game. I was never Informed that I could have skipped the wait line and it instead I could have done everything through the uhaul website. I was pleased with the equipment and I was thrilled with my reservation price, but I was not impressed with the quality of the customer that I received at the actual uhaul pick up location.BRENT W.
Gentleman that helped me with the pick-up was very friendly and helpful. I would also like to add that Chad Biggs at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Willow Bend , whom I did the initial rental from was extremely pleasant, very helpful and went above and beyond everything I expected. Gave me follow-ups when I was requested to pick my unit up from another location, and called after I turned the truck in to the store in Peoria to make sure everything went OK with the truck. In my opinion, he is definitely an asset to your company.CINDY B.

A complete logistical nightmare. The number of Uboxes was definitely incorrect. The contracted movers in Dallas were really sketch. You guys should vet your movers better. At one point our boxes were lost and then they found 3 of the 4, eventually finding the last one. Apparently none of the movers in Dallas or Raleigh knew were to pick up the Uboxes and I had to call U-Haul both times to figure it out and inform them. Pretty terrible customer service from U-Haul. 100 % would not recommend. Definitely going back to using PODs for next move.Danielle J.

They said the location manager would be my POC, whom I have never heard from. I wasted 3hrs trying to get your people to come get their piece of junk. The mirrors were apparently cleaned with a dirty rag and the windshield was also somewhat dirty on the outside and the inside of the windshield had a film on it and should have been cleaned. The inside of the cab had a cigarette smell from someone apparently smoking in the truck. The people at the location were extremely nice and helpful. A suggestion is that a person should be able to post comments or check the cleanliness box without U haul trying to charge a cleaning fee when it was not clean to begin with.PAUL M.

Young lady I called @1st location in Addison only had storage. She did some quick research found the this location & reserved a spot for me. Ms. Saundra (Maybe Sandra) She went above & beyond as well. She let look @the van & took me to the unit I decided to rent as well. *Location has many carts, very clean & shiny. The best option I could upgrade to after hours. -The only issue is my unit door got stuck on the last load & lock won't slide left & door cannot be pushed up. Notice it doesn't have the spring up like Extra Space storage rental company's doors. But I'm sure the staff will assist when I'm able to come back. I will end my rental with Public storage. They have ONE cart, one cart. Not air temp controlled. **Thank U-haul, my van rental & storage rental has been the best ever.TAMARA N.

Unless it happened to not be working, you no longer need to swipe your access card in order to access your unit. This was the reason I returned to this location. Whether myself or a thief opened my unit without my access card, an alarm would sound. I don't see what's keeping my unit secure now. Anyone could bust the lock and the staff doesn't seem like they would do anything if they suspected a robbery. There are cameras but without an alarm, who's to say it's not their unit? Is there protocol for anyone to check? Staff is friendly, but there is no sense of efficiency. I reserved my unit online to avoid hassle. It took nearly an hour from the time I showed up to get my unit because nothing was ready for me. I was asked what type of locker I wanted when I'd already selected an upper 5x5x6. When I arrived, it was a lower. I had to wait in line again to get the correct unit. When I arrived to the new one, the zip tie was still secured, so I had to leave again to get it off. Thankfully I hadn't hired movers or it would have been a costly wait, but I did have family help who had to wait on me when they didn't plan on the delay. Any service request usually takes a while, but I stuck with this facility because the security was worth it. I can say the hallways and units are clean, but that's really the only benefit to being here nowKristina A. | Premières impressions

They arranged another unit down the road and upon arrival the unit already had a lock on it. Asked for late night access over three times, was told that I was good to go, showed up at 10:30pm to unload my stuff prior to work in the morning access was denied. Call the after hours GM no answer multiple times. Had to sleep in the truck at night, in order to go to the office at 7 AM and was Told " what do you want us to do about it?" Then got a charge for going 30 miles on the truck because I couldn't unload my stuff when I was specifically told I was good to go.
