Whenever we had a question or problem there was never anyone in the office to help us. We went to the location several days in a row and no one was ever there. We had to get help from the switchboard/operators.
Since your company has taken over I have had one problem after another.
Kevin in the Annapolis location was very friendly and helpful. Great customer service skills!
Everything there was fine (people/place). However, I reserved a unit on my own and it was no longer available. I ended up having to spend MORE money each month because of this. You should be honest when people "RESERVE" ahead of time and let them know if they NEED that size storage unit, the should reserve a larger one because theirs will not be available when they arrive. This is somewhat false advertising. STICK TO YOUR WORD! If I reserve something, this is precisely what I expect when I get there. Not having to find something else!!! RESREVATIONS are made on purpose. Have it available if you want customers to return in the future. Otherwise, you're not doing yourself any good if you can't stick to your end of the agreement!!!

My storage was bought (Extra Space). I had automatic payments setup. I was charged a late and lied fee when I didn't reply to the notice. But I travel for the government and was overseas when the notice came. It was terribly unfair to be charged these fees. I will not recommend u-haul to anyone.
it was just not easy
Storage facilities can be hit or miss. The staff availability was low, but given everything with COVID that’s understandable. The locker I rented had a lock that didn’t prevent the unit from being opened, were it a long term rental I would have had them fit it with the proper lock. Great staff, not trying to get anyone in trouble :)
I had a good experience regarding my monthly storage balance and the gentleman was kind, helpful and Professional.

PLEASE READ COMMENTS ALREADY SUBMITTED. I DO NOT WISH TO REPEAT. NOTHING AGAINST GUYS ON THE RECEIVING END. BUT THE SALESPERSON ON PHONE NEEDS TO BE TRAINED IN HOW TO BE MORE SPECIFIC IN DESCRIPTIONS OF STORAGE UNIT ABOUT TO BE FILLED FROM LARGEST SIZED UHAUL TRAILER TO NOT MAKE IT SO AWKWARD, WE WOULD STILL BE UNLOADING THIS MORNING FROM YESTERDAY AT NOON IT SEEMS. WAS HORRIBLE FIT FOR MY NEEDS. THEY DID ACCOMMODATE ME TO THE BEST OF THEIR ABILITY, But would have preferred honesty or better description in the original sales talk on phone so i could have been prepared to go to another Uhaul storage if necessary. It will do for now. I have no choice.

The company is so shoddy and badly organized that they don't even realize that I'm not a new customer. I've been at the storage facility for over a year. My first contact with them was when they spammed me trying to sell me insrance. My second contact was when they told me I had a late fee because they weren't getting the automatic payment that I set up ages ago. I'm disappointed that they've taken over the facility and will probably just move my stuff to a place that seems to have it together a little better.
