When I rented the uhaul I wasn’t informed that the ignition had trouble starting I went out to leave and the key wouldn’t turn over I went back inside and the lady had to come out and show me how to jiggle it a few times to start it i tried again it still wouldn’t start she got mad at that point because I didn’t know how to start it then finally it turned over then she says we would give you another one but we don’t have any so then I left and called customer service and the lady was very helpful and asked me if I wanted her to look for another uhaul somewhere I said sure she then tells me that the location has some there which the lady told me that they didn’t have any which was a red flag need less to say I probably won’t rent from this location again.

I can't say enough about this location. We had a family tragedy and were in need of a moving truck. The owner John graciously waived the per mile charge which greatly helped us during this difficult time. An employee named Oscar treated us very kind and with the upmost respect. On behalf of my family and I THANK YOU Uhaul from the bottom of our hearts.

The truck I used came with less than 1 quarter of a tank and was extremely bouncy (even driving very carefully), causing some of my stuff to get thrown around unnecessarily. Other than that it was a positive experience with fair pricing.

One person working, while he seemed friendly, conscientious and helpful, seemed a bit understaffed, as there were 3-4 people waiting.

The new online check-in when dropping off is terrible. It is slow, it is unnecessarily useless, and it forces you to share your location. Will consider renting from someone else next time solely because of this.

I have nothing bad to say about the location, but Uhaul as a whole treated my reservation awfully. I was relocating from Hawaii, had a very full schedule with a lot of items to pick up in California on a timeline before heading to Arizona. The day before my pick up of a 20’ truck and auto transport I had over six calls with various Uhaul representatives, mainly with the regional manager of Los Angeles Kelly, who said I didn’t have a truck available for my 7am Thanksgiving day pickup. Every time a truck was found and “given” to us it was shortly thereafter taken away. Every location “Offered” was over 30 minutes drive, and the final compromise was splitting the reservation and turning my 20’ into a 15’, simultaneously making me leave valued family items which I can never get again and wasting my time driving to two locations. I was promised extra miles for the trouble by Kelly. The truck pickup went fine. The auto transport pickup had no idea I didn’t need a 20’ truck and dates. My dropoff day I received a text saying my truck was due at 7am, even though at every single call and in person meeting I explicitly stated I needed a 5pm dropoff. Overall I absolutely hated this experience and don’t see much reason not to tell every person I know how poorly this company conducts business. There’s is a series of major flaws in your company and if these aren’t fixed you will surely go out of business. I’m an engineer for a trillion dollar global company and know planning, logistics, project management and this was an absolute failure on every aspect of these business ventures. I would like to request contact from a representative regarding my experience. Thank you.

Our 17' truck was as old, beat up and poorly maintained as a truck can get. There was so many points that were damaged it was hard to count. The rear end leaked puddles, not just drips and I was concerned that after loading the unit for 3 hours, it wasn't going to make it across town to my mothers new apartment. I will have to seriously consider if I will rent a uhaul brand unit of any kind in the future. Or I will have to specify not to be given a piece of... junk. Suggestion, if the unit is a bad representation of your brand, get it out of your fleet...

We rented a pickup truck to get a new freezer since ours went kaput. We went to the store and loaded the new freezer and got it home but our hand truck had been stolen from our back yard. When I went to drop of the truck I asked about renting a hand truck so we could get the freezer in the house, the manager said he would loan me one overnight. Such a wonderful thing to do!!! Great customer service!!!

I came to pick up a truck to get my U box and the location failed to put a hitch on. I returned to this location and they put the hitch on. I was still charged for the double trio back even though it was not my fault. I tried to explain this to the employee that there should’ve been a note on my account as once I had to double back I called customer service. I left the keys and the truck along with my phone number and requested the employee call before charging my account so that I could explain all this. The employee did NOT call me she charged my card anyway and failed to take if the miles and gas/fuel for me doubling back. This does not include all if the other hassle I went through previously with u haul. This was the absolute worse moving experience ever Tequila Wates 816.873.5398

The guy renting me the truck said the keys in it don't forget to check the odometer well first of all I couldn't even find the odometer second of all he didn't even stick around to help adjust the mirrors or show me where anything was I have rented a lot of trucks from U-Haul and this is the worst experience I've ever had even when I brought it back they said our system is down just leave the truck there and go so I couldn't be there for the inspection this really sucks I will never go to U-Haul again

Truck was low on gas when I pick up. Attendant said if I bring back at quarter tank he would credit back to me. Up on returning after 6miles did not credit. I brought back as requested with gas in truck. Total rep-off. Will not do business again.

I did not realize that the truck had a lock and had to have someone come remove it. It was an inconvenience. Perhaps the lock key should be included with the truck key. Overall, the experience was great, thank you.

Didn’t feel much comfortable when John has to take a picture of me with he’s personal phone. I-Haul has multiple pictures of my I.D. It was just petty of them to do that with a personal cell phone of a employee.

I have been a customer of U-Haul since 1986 and have been consistently loyal with little complaint, until today...BTW....for the record we have rented at this one location about 20 times this past year. Noting, we are very responsible people. I would appreciate a personal call from your Region Manager in the next business day. Call 702-595-4337 from 7am on... Ask for Christine or Dale Brack, we live in Tempe, AZ and use your 2340 E Apache Blvd Tempe 85281 almost exclusively. Even after 'moving out' they stole money from my bank every month so I had to spend hours on the phone each month to get them to return my money. MAKE SURE THEY CANCEL CC AUTO PAY WHEN YOU MOVE OUT.
