Excellent service!!!!
The truck was in need of repair prior to my rental. It should not have gone out. The truck could not go over 30mph without loud squeal from what sounded like the drive shaft. It was a hazard and made the experience rough. Very disappointed that a truck in such shape was allowed to be rented.
The truck we rented should be pulled from the rental fleet as it is Dangerous to drive. There was significant play in the steering wheel which made it impossible to keep the truck in its lane at highway speed. I had to get off the interstate and take a regular road so i could travel at a safer speed. The drivers side mirror would not stay up so all i could see was the ground. Not a good experience!
Watch the gauge when putting fuel in. Mine wasn't working till I put more in than needed and ended up costing me extra money that the location wouldn't reimburse because of a faulty truck

The truck that I rented made a really annoying noise the whole time I was driving at highway speed, I recorded it and showed the employee when I returned the truck but he didn't really care.
Ask me about the online check-in process!! The location is great, the people there are great. This is always where I get my U-Haul rentals because it's great. But I tried the online check in/ check out process and it was not easy. One easy thing to fix would be to say up front there is a credit card requirement. I have rented U-Hauls in the past with a debit card but this time I needed a credit card and could not know that until I spoke with a human. Also, when I changed the date of the reservation, that was all that should have changed. And that is how it looked to me online. But when I arrived, my mileage estimate was no longer correct and my request for a dolly was no longer included. User experience failure.

This experience was perfect. No issues at all.
The experience with the location and local team was great. I did end up having to call to confirm my move-out, as the virtual move-out process didn't work. I had submitted pictures and uploaded move-out confirmation but still received an auto-pay reminder a week and a half later, which then prompted me to have to call. The staff immediately took care of it, but it did defeat the purpose of an "easy online move-out" process.
The contactless process needs work. Why did I need to take a photo of myself if you have my license and credit card? After everything I still have to go inside to not only get the keys but to have them switch trucks because there was an issue with the odometer showing significantly higher than listed. Over all it was a pain but the rep inside was very nice and helpful so that helped.
There was an empty gatorade bottle and a piece of trash in between the seats, but overall the van was clean. The young lady behind the counter was polite and proficient.
I don't care if you're in a pandemic or not with somebody makes me wear a mask I will not do business with them the only reason I did business with you is because I was helping a widow at the church tell if I needed a U-Haul I would not rent it from you
the gentleman that provided me service was cold and unreceptive. as I backed where he directed he spoke another command to stop because I didn't have a ball. I backed closer to position truck and install hitch and he gave me as little guidance as I possible as if he owned Uhaul. I asked about the ratcheting system but he refused to advise me how the system and notice that it was sticking and worn looking tire straps. Fortunately I am a mechanic and engineers' trained and was able accurately secure my vehicle, check my lights and transport my vehicle safely.

Drop-off was smooth. The return area was well-marked and I was able to stay in the car while an employee came out and unhooked the trailer. There was a brief wait (less than 5 minutes), but I know this is a busy location. This is my go-to location as it is close to my home. I am always pleased with the service here.
Great location and outstanding service.
My experience on Colonial was good however I rented the van from Winter Par and it was not available at check in. Noone offered me any compensation for the extra time and mileage required from changing locations at the last minute.

I think my truck had a problem with its gas tank the van reeks of gas as if I had like a gas can in the cab with me in the cap wasn't on it. I mean it was so strong the gas odor in the cab.

It was a good quick experience, customer service was good. Ease of contract was smooth. Only thing would be windows washed and truck exterior washed.. i check the clean above because it was overall clean...I like using Uhaul when I need them, really love the image the company has committed itself from the past, would appreciate the attention to detail.. for your future customers. I know it's harder to do since the COVID-19, I've noticed in service of all kinds the lack of care. Just using this survey to reach out to you as a company.. not just a location critiquing .... Bless you on your 2021 year..
I was overcharged. Burford Powell gave me the wrong key.
I rented a open trailer for a day, they charged my credit card 2 times for same amount.

The truck seemed to be stuck in overdrive, but other than that everything was fine.
The truck had over 174,000 miles, the engine was weak and the driver's side door didn't fully close. I told the staff before my rental I was driving 60 miles away on the highway, this truck was absolutely NOT acceptable to do that. I will be taking this to a corporate level complaint.

The workers at U- Haul were VERY HELPFUL and considerate . It was always a pleasure to walk into the office and be greeted with smiles and fun conversation. Greg Strickland was always kind and very helpful to me.

My I haul truck drove terrible and it shakes in the front if you drive over 75 miles per hour on highway 75 and interstate i10 going west.
Dont let the industrial location gool you, this is a place full of friendly folks who will take care of you....

My only issue is that I thought the access hours were 24 hours. I even received an email saying it was 24 hours. I was disappointed to learn that it was not. The manager on duty was fantastic though. I think his name was Boford.
The only thing is building D ac is still not working. They need to fix it because everytime i come there its hot
I’m still waiting on my refund since I chose not to need a storage unit anymore. I bought a unit and when I opened it realized it was too small so when I went back to the front some rude, miserable bald guy tells me he can’t switch me to a bigger one because it was 5:06 p.m. and that he was leaving. That’s when it started pouring raining and I’m left standing there with my uhaul truck and no unit to put my things in getting soaking wet. I’ve already reported this situation to the customer service number.
The storage unit was adequately clean, however, the air conditioning was not working on the day we arrived to move out. Evidentially the AC went out the day before yet we were not told, We would have appreciated a call to let us know. We Have items that could have been damaged in the heat. I think there needs to be a lock box of some kind in the temperature control pad so it can be regulated by Uhaul not the people using the unit. On the day we moved out there was a bad storm. It was unfortunate that the computer system went down, but somehow Tanesha aNd the manager, Bedford Bellows We’re able to register me for a trailer and hitch. They were extremely helpful. Buford put the hitch and trailer on my car in the pouring rain. I also accidentally broke my umbrella in the door of my car so my car door would not shut; Buford helped me figure out how to fix it. I’m so grateful. Overall my husband and I were in and out of your facility as we prepared to move. Overall we had a very experience particularly on that rainy day!
I hqve had this storage unit for 3 years while been abroad, but the times that we had the chance to come back to the Florida and check our unit, it was always well maintained, the access to our convenience and personnel ready to help with information helpful and on time with regards to billing, weather, much more. I believe that the prices are convenient.
The truck was newer and drive good and with great ac.
I rent a lot of trailers and have assisted many people and getting storage units.I have to say that this location is one of the best I have encountered not just because of the cleanliness but of the staff and management themselves. PI've had the pleasure of working with them for over three years now and they have never failed to disappoint me and their service commitment and standards. I am almost saddened for the fact that I no longer need their services but will continue to highly recommend them whenever I can.

I would recommend the Uhaul place to prorate the units if you move out before the month is over. Didn’t know that. Would’ve been nice.

I don't think it was right for my storage fee to increase from the amount charged when I first rented the unit. I also expected a refund since the unit was closed out before the month ended.

I had made a reservation at Another storage company. When I arrived on Sunday, there was a note on the door that they were closed. Called UHaul, directed to an available unit, moved in -EASY!

Rats, rat traps in unit, roaches and an overwhelming smell of mothballs. Temp rarely under 85 in June/ August. Most of my visits the security gate and door were open. Not my 1st choice in storage.
I was appreciated they had an climate storage for me to rent.

This is the best U-Hual facility we ever utilized. Great service, secure, fast, reliable, etc. 10 out of 10.

Dead rat found in unit. Many dead insect also in unit Any financial problems had to wait until one specific person was available. Email communications were fuzzy at times

On both ends of our move people were friendly, courteous and extremely efficient.
Having been a customer for nearly 20 years, I appreciate the way the staff and facilities were maintained in such a professional manner.
Waited on hold for 1/2 hour to have them pick up my UBox. Then had to give them the pick up location more than once. They called me the day of and asked where they were picking it up and dropping it.
The facility and service in the Valejo California location were subpar, very poor. However, the office in Hayworth followed up with me and resolved the problems we had promptly.

Unbelievable that I was forced to buy a UHaul lock even though my lock was every bit as secure. A pure money grab that I was not advised of during the reservation process! Unforgivable UHaul!

The above questions don't apply to U-Box customers. My complaint is that the contents of the box looked like the box was flipped upside down! I had several broken items and I am very unhappy.
will never use u-haul again delivery was promised for 11/10 by 3:00 pm after calling several times and waiting with moving help was told the driver was sick and delivery would not happen for 3 days

I did not visit this facility. My ubox was only there enroute to home delivery. The staff who were involved were all excellent. So my answers should be "not applicable."
Very fast and efficient. I've been to several Uhaul locations and some of them can get overwhelmed at times. These folks handled my job quickly and efficiently.

All went well. Only issue was at beginning. I was told 3 days in a row my box would be delivered finally got it on 3rd day Box arrived in fl intact no issues I wish the monthly storage was pro rate

I'm sure the facility was fine - however, my experience with U-Box was horrific from start to finish, and I'll never recommend any aspect of U-Haul to anyone, ever again.

I was told I get 1 month free for purchasing a rental truck. Booked over phone. GM was rude, said I was wrong about getting 1 month free before I got a truck. Not my fault call center gave wrong info.
My UBOX was broken into and some of my personal belongings were stolen and my brand new TV was damaged. I also dealt with a billing issue for over a week delaying my delivery. NEVER AGAIN.
The people I dealt with were all extremely nice and helpful. Everything went very smooth and that made our move a lot easier. Thank you !

pod drop off and pick up was fast and convenient. The ladies who did both were in and out with no trouble. Friendly and efficient; were there earlier than they originally planned- driver called ahead.
I would never do business with this facility ever in my life. They promised on multiple times they would pick up my storage box and they didnt. They lied to me over and over again.
Horrible experience. No date warning on delivery. Left the boxes on our premise for nearly 5 days. Can't recommend you. U-Haul customer service couldn't help. Mgmt at your facility couldn't help.

I had an issue with payment my first mth and it took me 4 phone calls and an email before I got a return call back. And when I returned to my unit, there were locks on there and my bill was fully paid
