That truck needs to be decommissioned. The headlights didn't work well only the driver side was pointed out enough to get light ahead of you. The interior was horrible! The driver side visor was broken, the hud for the lights was literally hanging out of the dashboard touching your knee with wires and all. The speakers to the radio only worked on the passenger side and not well either. Both seats need to be fully replaced they were torn and ripped. The doors had to be slammed so hard to actually close them, if you didn't they would jiggle themselves open 1 mile down the road. Check engine light was on and apparently the gas cap needs to be tightened every 15 seconds.

There was only one agent at the counter at 0800 on a Saturday. The line was short(2-4) but the wait was 15-30 minutes. The clerk was OUTSTANDING. Patient, courteous, hustling, accomodating, but he needed support. My truck wasn't where he expected it to be so he had to leave the stand to find it for me.

The only comment i would have to say is when renting a truck on the website the rental of moving equipment should not be an option. Especially when in store it is on a first come first serve basis. I rented 3 dozen blankets a dolly n hand truck. I was only able to get the last dozen of blanket because a previous renter took the entire inventory along with all dollies and hand truck. Everyones move is a big move for them and either uhaul.com limits the quantity Of rental moving equipment items when a person is reserving or removes equipment rental options from the website all together. The stores should only be able to rent equipment out according to thier inventory on hand. All in all the office staff was very accommodating, helpful and friendly.

Remove the truck that is parked outside the property, on the side of the road. It seriously effects the visibility of the road, trying to pull out of the parking lot (both entrances/exits) onto the road. Very dangerous as cars are coming around the corner very fast, from the left.

They made me do the hitch and tow told me I had to secure my car they couldn't when I called uhual 800# and in Washington DC they told me the associate should have done that not me. The straps fell off my tires during the trip as well.

The manager and the entire staff were so friendly on a busy Sunday morning. The manager was helping get the line out, move trucks, and at the same time answer everyone's questions in a friendly manner. Being a multi-unit gm, his value is second to none. Highly recommend! Fantastic, can't say enough about him and his staff.

The customer service should have been better. I warmly greeted the black gentleman at the desk. He didn't speak back. He barely spoke to me at all throughout the transaction. Then he gave me a dirty truck with a dented and broken front light. It was parked the furthest away on top of hill. Also, if you want people to put gas in it, you may want to show them where the gas tank is. On return, there were many people waiting. But at least this black gentleman was nicer than the first one. Doubt I will be back or I will not recommend.

This place treated me great! When I first got there they were having mechanical issues with the elevators so they accommodated me and gave me exactly what I needed on the ground floor. Then, there was a change in management and they had no record of my unit. So I showed them my Unit and they got me in the system and gave me one month free. I know there were some issues but they were quick to fix them and accommodate me!

My only suggestion is to check the tire pressure on vehicles before renting. The last 3 vehicles had the low pressure indicator on as I drove off the lot. Returning to the lot to have it checked is usually very inconvenient due to staff shortages and time constraints. Other than that, service is excellent!

The employee was very patient even when they had difficulties customers cueing them out because they wanted to act like a Karen someone you can never please. Your employee deal with a lot of bullshit. They truly need to be awarded for the work they do. Because these customer are crazy and difficult deal with. Yesterday in your store you had a Karen situation and I lost my control the way the A Karen was talking to your employee after she was already done she just came back to complain more and expected him to wait on her while he was talking care of me. I had to self check her and let her know you will wait your turn like everyone else. You complain to damn much now go to the back of the line. These to working need to be recognized who work yesterday because they had to deal with a Karen..

The store was obviously short staffed and Sunday seemed to be a very busy day. Instead of complaining, the manager was hustling - not in a frantic way, but diligently handling one task at a time with speed and finesse. The problem I have with the last 4-5 times I've used u-haul in any of its rental, purchases or storage, my bill has always been wrong. The bill is hard to get corrected as the staff acts like it's a central problem not by them. To me as a customer, it appears intentional

Great service, the front counter person Denzell was very courteous and knowledgeable about the whole process. You can tell he was experienced at work, he was mutitasking and helping several customers at one time. He is a great manager for Uhaul and deserves a raise and/or promotion.

Denzel and the rest of the staff were so courteous. Denzel helped make a difficult move easier with his kindness and understanding of my situation. He explained everything so I could get in and out at my conference. There were some very some difficult customers in the line in front of me and Denzel maintained his professionalism the entire time. Denzel deserves a raise! He was working so diligently to get everyone in and out in a timely manner on a very busy Saturday l!

Organizing this unit for rental was a last-minute idea Leah from customer service was fantastic in organizing it Sunday night Chucky on Monday morning was also fantastic and when all of our plans went oops we’re going a different direction everybody was wonderful and helping us cancel our reservations overall these employees of U-Haul have gone above and beyond in their customer service and they’re genuine care for us.

Every time I have ever been here, renting a truck, returning a truck, accessing my unit, buying boxes etc the return rental trucks are so backed up most times it is impossible to enter. Return trucks jammed up in the return with nobody doing check in. Very frustrating.

When we checked on they had assigned us a unit that had double locks from previous user. Had to reassign another unit. Wen we notified them we were moving out they never removed us and continued to bill us for another month. It took 2 phone calls to customer service to have them finally close out our account. And provide proof of a zero balance. We actually only used the unit for about 10 days.

I rented a climate control unit. Obviously, it wasn't climate control. My bed made of leather melted on my table and damaged my bed set and table. They're both over $2,000.00. Yes, I declined the insurance because I had my own but all in the same breath if the unit was climate controlled this wouldn't have happened. I paid over $230 a month for items to be damaged. Never again!

On the day I moved in, the elevator broke. We couldn't use the stairs to get to our 2nd floor unit bc they had been locked from the inside. With no way to get back to our unit, we called Uhaul customer service who promised the facility manager would contact us the next day. Never, ever heard from him. We also called the emergency number listed on the elevator which was to the facility manager- he didn't answer and his voicemail was full. We left that night without ever getting access to our unit which was wide open all night. The next day, our friend was able to get to our unit for us by getting the office to unlock the stairs. My experience today was very inconvenient I moved in my storage 3 weeks ago, and today I go to get something out of my storage and u-haul mixed up my storage unit with someone else's. I was told they assigned someone else my unit and that I needed to take my stuff out and move it to another one. After explaining that this was not the first time the switched my unit I was able to get them to fix the issue. But U-Haul has to do better with schedule and reserving units one per customer and not double booking.

I am not treated well by sine of the uhaul stores like the boxmeer store. Unfortunately with the charity work that i do i have to use uhaul. I am getting use out of home depot trucks they have no mileage charge unlike GREEDY UHAUL charging from $.79 to 0,99 a mile. Greed the ole American Greed! I have no issue with ballentyne store. Boxmeer store has taken money from me an entire month ago$83.09.. They locked me out a storage 3 days after i put items there and have not allowed me use of the storage for an entire month. On saturday i hored two guys to help me get the items called before i came $150 for the guys to come only to not get in the storage was told they cant let me..TO GET MY DAM STUFF REALLY. I HATE UHAUL ACTIONS AND DOES NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY IN WHAT THEY DO TO CUSTOMERS. I REPORTING YOU ON BOXMEER UHAUL CINDY DO NOTHING GM TO THE NEWS YOU HAVE COST ME ALOT OF MOMEY AMD ILLEGALLY CHATGED MY CREDIT CARD CINDY..YOU MADE A $39 TRUCK RENTAL DRIVING 49 MILES INTO ALMOST $200 RENTAL WTH!!!!!!!!!UHUAL is not hirting for money. I want time suffered denied my things, relentless efforts calling boxmerr store emailing calling customer service about this matter govingbthe rin around! I am seeking from boxmeer store $1 000 in damages plus if legal gets invole uhaul takes care of the fee. You have made me suffer boxmeer store for no reason! 980.230.5379 i do not want Cindy i want her boss or higher! Spoke to cindy at boxmeer again last monday and now a week later still grief for me....$1 000 in damages and suffering....Boxmeer store the worst dont recommend! Tried to get them cut there lock off they said there lock cutter has to charge.Dam all this. Uhual cost mr lyft would not all me to bring truck back tonloacation i had to pay $25 yo go grt my car...uhual was not like this inconvenience folks on purpose. Freight elevator is so small, and totally inconvenient. My wife & i thought we had booked an outside unit, not interior 2nd floor. When i was done - the reps advised me i was not allowed to return the equipment because someone else already determined a different place for me (which was completely out of the way). When i was done unloading everything, i had to physically move 4 trailers in order to make the turn to exit the facility. Horrible experience, very very nice people.

The staff outrages to some customers abd do not talk friendly. They are disrespectful in conversations they have in front of customers. They hang the phone up on you if you ask a question they cant answer. The trucks are not always cleaned out. The place is an over action JUNGLE OUT OF CONTROL!!!!!! HELP

The customer service center line have some very rude representatives. I talked with few of them because I had some issues with my reservation n wanting to cancel out my storage unit and man they where rude with no descent customer service. One of their names is Ryan very rude

I would of gave it a five star but the first day we went there but there was a young female who work there and had a nasty attitude and was upset because she needed to move a truck out the way. It was blocking the storage they gave us but then came this other female who was a manager and solve the problem, and I told her that girl needs not to work there with that f up attitude, she got us really upset but the manager was really nice and was apologizing for that young girl. After that we end up having our stuff an extra month and did not have any problems. Staff was really nice when we would go and take our stuff out. We would ask if they can please move the truck out of our way and they would without any problems…

Storage unit was fine. Quarters are tight when pulling a trailer. Frequently have to have uhaul trucks moved to get access to unit. Often had to move small trailers to be able to get out of facilities while pulling my trailer, rentals were often not parked in marked spaces, once popped my trailer tire on the tongue of a rental trailer that was jutting out into lane. Staff was courteous and helpful when needed.

I had to drive ten miles from there just to get a truck when I already had to drive 30 miles from where I was moving to. Poor service from Uhale in Kentucky, even poorer in Pineville, NC. Had to move my stuff in with no lights. Now I have damage property. They Over charged my account. I paid 160$ a month. Signs where outside saying 89,99$. Had to handle business cause I had a family and all our belongings with us. My Wife was very upset.

It was great. The only problem was the rented me a 10 × 15 but because it wasn't clean they gave me a bigger one. They manager said same price but I was charged for larger one. I think I should be charged for the smaller one. I should get a credit on it. Plus 2 different rentals in 3 days I got one free month can I get a second one too.

I would of said excellent but there is a young girl that works there, that is not professional at all, she didn't want to move the truck that was blocking our storage and my husband is trying to tell her we have a truck full of stuff and we need the space. So I went to the office nobody was there but then that girl came and gave me attitude, I lost it and told her off on that girl. it looks like the manager went and help out and fix the problem with this nasty young girl issues. The manager was very understanding and very helpful and I told her about that young girl, so the manager kept apologizing to me.

I got stuck inside of the facility after moving in not being able to open any gates to get out receiving "access denied" message. It was only 7:15 pm but the facility access hours are 5am - 10pm. Tried to call the facility manager but it went straight to the voice mail box that was full. Luckily, I noticed other customers retuning their truck after hours and I asked them to try swiping my card at the terminal outside of the main gate. It worked and I was able leave, otherwise I would have been stuck overnight waiting for the office to open next day. Very confusing and poorly design system!

The light in our unit has not worked for more then a year. Some staff told me it was my problem to fix. That is totally unacceptable based on the rent I was paying The phone system is horrible. Long waits and you can not speak with a person. This was very frustrating and tells me UHaul is not customer friendly or focused.

This complaint has to donwith a previous conversation I had with Charles regarding returning the 26' truck at time when charlotte is experiencing a gas shortage As I had mentioned to Charles the customer cannot/should not be held liable for for the crisis while no gas stations are open and the ones that are, you have to find them, meaning 10-30miles from your drop-off destination point. In a short summization I was charged $4 gallon from quarter to half tank marker in addition to 30miles on top of what had wouldn't have to pay had the customer be help liable for uncontrollably circunstatces during this gas crisis. I can't express my disappointment of my final receipt if $117 less a service fee all customers are having to pay, while still the profit of U Haul a multi-billion company is only being deposited at this time of crisis to there bank account ...... NOT GOOD BUSINESS to a company Ive used for 50yrs+. I do plan on making a larger complaint to recover that exspense hence the unfairity of this rental experience.
