This truck was DIRTY!! You would think with covid 19 you would at least protect your customers by wiping down the steering wheel and handles. You know the items that are most touched by people... but obviously not here. The employees all act like you have the plague but don't care for the customer well being. Just wiping down the steering wheel and handles I ended up with 2 very dirty wipes (got pic if you want it). I seriously hope I don't get covid from using your nasty truck.

Staff neglected to include the moving blankets that were a part of my order. This required me to stop at another location in order to pick up blankets, thus wasting time and additional distance. A double check of the order would have avoided this problem.

This location should have more equipment or coordinate better with other U-Hauls to get equipment. I wanted a tow dolly in this location they didn't have one . Nor could another U-Haul just bring them one. They said if a random family brings a tow dolly to Barstow they will have one. What's the point of making a reservation then? The company telling me if a family brings a tow dolly ? Why can't the U-Haul bring a tow dolly to Barstow if I'm making a reservation a week in advance. Instead I had to waste gas money to drive a hour longer and I had to pay a fee to change drop off location. That was super frustrating and just looks unprofessional relying on other families to transport equipment, seemed like a total joke when I heard that. At least the next customer who needs a tow dolly in Barstow will be happy because I was that family that brought Barstow one instead of U-Haul.

The unit Smelled insanely bad. Unit 125. Once I moved out all the things to my stuff had soaked up that nasty smell. Brought it up to the manager. He said he would contact the other units to see if he could check where the smell was coming from but nothing ever happened. He did offer to move me to a different unit but I found that very inconvenient because the things I had there were very heavy and I had no help to move again.
