I spoke to Corp 3-4 times to make certain of the pickup location and a 7am digital pickup. It was guaranteed each call. 7am of pickup day I called and they had no record of me picking up the truck early and couldn’t arrange it. I had to wait till 9am snd the counter agent told me the night guy forgot to set it up. It cost me $120 because I had movers waiting for me at 8am and their rate was $80: hour. I got there at930. You guys didn’t even apologize let alone discount the rental for the money it cost me. I’ll never use U-Haul sgsin

I got charged a $20 after hours fee. THIS IS ABSURD and quite frankly should be considered illegal. I returned the equipment an hour early with more gas than it should have had and did the online checkin, yet I still had to call to get an outrageous fee refunded. I shouldn't even have to use my phone to check in my rental, this was never required before. What if my phone battery had been dead, what if I didn't have a smart phone. This is an extremely poor way to conduct business.

Evidentally there was a new guy working when I went to reserve, all he did was complain that he didn't know what he was doing and it wasn't fair he got thrown into this when he didn't want to do it.. it took foreeeeevvver to reserve.. drop of was even worse, same guy all alone complaining the customer he was helping had been there 45 min with him fumbling around and there were 3 people in line ahead of us wating as well, Train Your employees!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the worst level of customer service I have ever seen!!!!!!

The Bend U Haul location is under staffed. At pick up and drop off there was only one employee working in the entire store. Further, it took a call to U Haul customer service to get a copy of my return receipt. I returned the truck to the employee, handed him my key and then the next day received a text notification that my truck rental was still open. On top of all of that, the rental truck had 140k+ miles on it, and it was a true junker. My suggestion to improve for the next customer is to invest in your employees, get a dedicated counter staff of a couple of people that can answer the phone AND handle in store customers at the same time, and focus on retiring vehicles that are beyond their useful life, not just relegating them to your ‘local rental’ fleet.

Service was great, but I was unaware of total cost before purchasing. I received a quote of $33 total for the day, which was for a pickup rental and for Uhaul to refill the gas. When I checked out he told me it was $68 dollars, because I “drove 40 miles and didn’t refill the gas myself”. I don’t understand how the price doubled.

Make sure your computer system is working when a person picks up the rental. If I hadn't had cash in my purse I would have been pretty angry. They wouldn't have rented the truck without it.

There should be a better system checking people on at 9am. As there was a long line with no organization. It would of been great to have one love be for those of us with reservations to expedite the line vs walk in. We got stuck in a line ( the wrong line) and has to wait 50 minutes being the folks infron t of we’re walk ins. It was frustrating to say the least. Other than that it was a good experience.

Don’t lie and say you don’t have rentals when you do. Needlessly had to make a “reservation” through the next town only to be called and told the only one available was at the place we went to earlier. Wasted our time. Also customer service sucked - attempt to show you care. Both workers there were beyond not caring and flat out liars. Don’t believe that the three other larger trailers were not available. Also got charged for two days when only wanted it for one but at that point did not care just wanted out of there

Please install sand paper anti slip grip tape to all your trucks. I slipped and fell and hit my head outside my storage unit 130.. if i had been seriously injured I would have grounds for a lawsuit!!
