We didn't get the blankets we ordered ahead of time and the blanket holder inside only had 3 blankets in it, so very little help. And we paid for 2 days, which translates to 48 hours, but when we picked up at 1pm on Thursday we were told to have it back between 7 and 8 am on Saturdayâ€"that's 5-6 hours we were charged for that we didn't get!! SUPER unhelpful when you are trying to unload a huge truck after closing on a new house. Very unimpressed!Jason S.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a company. The woman at the office when my husband picked up the U-Box was extremely rude. Throughout the time we had the U-Box and trying to get delivery to our new home and then to come back and pick it up ...everything was awful. I sat on hold more times than I can count and one time it was for over 2 hours!! Half the time when we called, they couldn't even find our order. It seems like this company is very inept and the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. I will never use U-Haul again and will not recommend it to anyone.DONALD D.

I was charged an extra 20 $I tried using the after hours app and it said something went wrong on our end, said it 3 times. So I left trailer and went home. Then tried calling the store and got put on hold 25 min. Called back then was told someone would call me the next day no one did. So your company just gets to charge me money for whatever and I have no recourse? I will find someone else to rent from in the future.SARAH H.

The truck was fairly cleaned out but it was really dusty inside and I am allergic to dust, so that was a little bit of a problem. I took a napkin and dusted the dashboard and other parts in the front, but the inside of the truck (where you haul stuff) was good and the truck ran well.Nancy P.
My boyfriend made a reservation so he had thought. He spoke to someone that claimed they were the manager of the store it was a male. When we arrived to check on the reservation a few days before there was nothing in the system at that store location. The store manager Lucy became very hostile and argumentative with us on the situation. She pretty much called us liars and said that we don't know how to read. She also said that she had no trucks available in a 26 or 20. However when my boyfriend spoke to the so-called manager a few days prior to that they said they had one and they reserved it for him but like I said that reservation was never made by the person that claimed they did it for him. So I went and made a reservation for a 20 at a different location but then it was put back on that location to go pick it up from there. After the experience we had from there I was very hesitant on even going there. I tried to do the 24/7 to pick it up but the app didn't want to work. So we were forced to go inside to pick up the truck upon arriving Lucy was working. She said she was going to hand us off to her employee because she didn't want to have any more confrontation with us. As we were checking in with the other employee she was on the phone with someone and was also rude with that person on the phone. I believe you guys need to do a training with her on customer service and respect. The employee that did end up helping us was wonderful and great. Upon getting to the truck the truck wasn't cleaned. There was rotten tomatoes in a Ziploc bag and a monster can underneath the driver's seat. The bed of the truck had plexiglass left from a previous person and dirt. Also upon dropping off the truck after hours we tried to use the app again and it didn't work. We even called customer service I never got through after being on hold for about 45 minutes.Jessica P.

I did not think it was right that I used the truck to drive 30 miles round trip and the truck ended up not being what I needed and I brought it back and they still charged me full price for the full dayDJ M.

Bad: Key card never worked so just had to push button until someone opened it. Told to wait > 30 minutes for locksmith (and I paid 50 $) and when he did not show employee drove to storage unit and cut off lock in 5 minutes. Should be standard offering and who kept my 50 $. Some employees to busy to be pleasant or helpful. Customers bother them. Days after we called to verify they knew we were out of the unit, we still got a e-mail for a bill to continue. Need to get your act together. Good: Several employees we pleasant, helpful and knew what they were doing. Overall I would use U-Haul again. Just have to be watchful.David A. | Expérience générale
I had the truck from 8:15 to 6pm and was surprised to see my card get charged for two days for the truck and the dollys instead of one. When I called the site, I got voice mail. They said it may take 24 hours to return my call. 5 days later and no return call. I called again and left a message. 3 days later - no return call. I went into the office, they agreed to credit me a day. I asked for a receipt of my refund and they said they couldnt give me one - it will show up on your credit card. Of course, days later, I get a credit for the truck but not the dollys. Still charged two days for two dollies. Since I cant get through on the phone and I dont feel like driving 20 miles to get to the site, I just gave up. Overall, the service was good but I felt frustrated with the messy billing and difficulty to get a credit when I was overcharged.KENNETH P.

Be able to help the costumer more. They don't have enough trailers to go.one way. Should be able to have trailers or whatever that is needed. But only had alot of in town. Didn't need in town so had to.work.with what they had. It didn't feel right.or fit right. Just thank God it made it.GEORGE F.

Edward was the person I dealt with for both pick up and return. He was professional, personable and efficient. We've had many experiences with Uhaul over the years. Our experience with Edward today was by far the best I've ever had. He is a great spokesperson for Uhaul.MICHAEL H.
came in on a Monday asked to have everything ready so all i have to do is pick up the keys on Tuesday and leave .Tuesday i got there and i spent 45 minutes fumbling with this new guy, who had to ask the manager a bunch of questions, I asked the manager to take over I have a schedule at 4pm, she said he has to learn. i was an hour late for my appointment but you guys got your truck rented. The staff was great, the equipment was in clean and optimal condition. The reason for the average rating is the location of the facility, right on HWY 65. But, it was open early, and i would have no problem recommending this location in the future.ARIK L.

Congratulations! Uhaul has now surpassed Comcast as the worst business in the United States to work with. I do not believe I have ever had such consistently terrible customer service as I have with Uhaul. I called two days ahead to order my U boxes to be pulled so that I could sort through and organize them. I had help lined up for Sunday. I called Sunday morning to let them know that I was on my way and to make sure that they were pulled and ready. I was told that I could not come and access them because the store manager wasn't available. I was informed that the store manager would have to verify that I am who I say I am in order to access them. I asked why that was the case since I would have to have the keys to get in them. I was told this is the new rule. This has never been the case in the past. They were going to have someone call me back. The real issue is that once again my boxes weren't ready even with two days notice. I received a call back and was told that they would have one box available for me to come in and look at but the other two wouldn't be available until Monday. My whole point was to consolidate and organize my boxes. I delayed it another day and rescheduled my helpers to come with me on Monday to go through the boxes. This is absolutely unacceptable that it takes three days to get at my stuff when I'm expected to give a 24 hr notice. I pay 250 $a month for my stuff to sit at your warehouse and you can't even consistently provide me access when I give plenty of adequate notice . The last time I requested access they weren't ready either. The manager of the store told me not to tell her how to run her business and hung up on me when I told her that maybe she should train her people how to submit the requests properly. I cannot wait to get my stuff out of your warehouse and never ever give uhaul another dollar. And I strongly urge anyone else to find a more competent company to do business with.KARMEN A.

It rained the day we moved my son to Bemidji. We found that the trailer was leaking from the front top left corner when we were unloading. Luckily no damage just a wet dresser top. When I returned the trailer I let them know. They told me they would take the trailer out of service and fix the leak. I hope they did.STEVE S.

I had to drive a little ways from my home but I would do it again for this type of courtesy, professionalism and just how pleasant people were there. It's the people that made my experience great. The two young men behind the counter were rude and condescending to me when I picked up my U-Haul. As I was walking out the door they were making comments in a clearly mocking tone like â€œdrive safeâ€œ and â€œbetter drive slow if the wind catches you it's going to rip your right off the road.â€ I am positive that the only reason they felt that they could talk to me this way is because I was a single woman picking up the U-Haul. However I drive a truck a trailer on a regular basis and am more than capable of driving a 10â€ uhaul. I won't rent from this location again.Lacey L.

Most of my items were damaged and had rat poop and dead rats in my storage. Even though that wasnt the big reason I couldnt pay for the storage units, it was very disgusting and did make me very angry. Personal things caused me to fall behind on my storage and I apologize and never was my intention to bail or not pay for my storage but very disappointed with how the storage units were not taken care of. When I have the funds, I do plan to pay my debts but right now, I am barely making ends meet. Was a little disappointed when I rented a 10x10 and got two 5x10s next to each other. Makes for difficult storage of larger items, which is why I rented the 10x10. It may seem weird I would give a poor experience when all the bullet points say yes, but here is the deal, was the staff friendly, yes, but it took four people to get the simplest thing done, the first gentlemen was very friendly, but couldn't do one thing right, the second person helped him a little, then walked away leaving him once again to struggle, a third person joined the struggle, but he too left when things got too complicated, finally it took one young man to take over and complete the task of taking my online reservation to rent a storage and make it happen, but this poor soul was running the entire show at this facility, it was like he was the only person that could get anything done right. Even after he had completed my transaction, the card he gave me wouldn't open the gate, and I had to wait and additional 15 minutes just to interrupt the young man who was helping someone else and tell him my card wouldn't open the gate. Rented in march, had an accident 2 days later, so I never set 1 foot into the unit. It sat empty. So I went yesterday to close account and asked for a receipt to close account. Walked away without. Got yelled at saying it would be emailed. I also was required to purchase a u haul lock which I removed and tried to return in original packaging. I don't know what to say.
