I have said this on previous reviews, and I will say it again. The lack of visibility when one exits this facility is a serious traffic hazard. I came in a few days before I rented the trailer and nearly got hit when I drove out in front of an oncoming pickup I could not see. It is impossible to see what is coming from the left because U-Haul has vehicles and signs placed right up to the sidewalk and the road curves around behind them. The speed limit on that road is 40 mph and I'm pretty sure the pickup that almost hit me was going faster than that. I reported this near-miss to the Woods Cross police department. They told me U-Haul complying with city ordinances, so there is nothing they can do about the visibility. Nevertheless, if I ever get hit exiting your property you will have a lawsuit on your hands. Other than this traffic problem, the trailer rental was satisfactory and uneventful.

They need more employees. The two women working were running their asses off and were wonderful but for a Saturday morning it was unacceptable to have to wait an hour to get a reserved trailer because they were understaffed.

Moving sucks- and whoever enjoys moving can move me at any time they like to. I had the worse moving experience of my life last week and if it wasn't for Gabbie and Dixi, I wouldn't have a single positive memory from the move. It all started when my vehicle didn't have the correct lighting installation, then I went to a shop on a Sunday to get the lighting installed- ONLY to have the auto shop mess the electrical up even more and they took 3 hrs longer to do the install. Dixi and Gabbie were phenomenal during this entire experience; not only did they try to come up with solutions when my light hookup was bad, BUT they even stayed a little past working hours to help me check out my trailer so I could start my move across the country! They saved me an entire day by being willing to stay an extra 30 mins for me. They were so phenomenal that I hope U-Haul sends all trainees to them so new employees can learn what it is to have impeccable customer service

When asking about the optional trailer insurance, the question: If a car were to break down and therefore be unable to pull the rental trailer, what should one do? I was told that most rental providers will not allow towing with their vehicles. I asked if one could pull a trailer from U Haul with a U Haul truck and was informed that UHAUL would not allow a trailer to be pulled by one of their own trucks. If both of these things are true, there is a gap in options for moving a trailer if a car were to break down pulling a trailer and one didn't want to or couldn't wait for their car to be repaired. I was told there were no options through any insurance options on the trailers that could not solve this issue. Perhaps I was misinformed, but this is what I'd been told when I asked. Other than this quandary, which fortunately did not occur, everything was fine.

more than the product, I want to recognize the older lady with White hair who helps us on the counter! She literally ran the extra mile to help us with a situation in which she didn't have to, but wow! The only problem I had with the rental was I couldn't use my walmart card as payment. It was something new this year because I jave used it 6 times before. That is a sure way to lose my business though.

Access is difficult and dangerous along US Hwy 89 approaching either from the south or the north. From the south, the left hand turn lane is diminished by the time you turn left; upsetting vehicles in the left lane. From the north is a joke because of insanely difficult access from 400 West that loops around and parallels US 89 forcing those traveling from US 89 from the North to take a blind lane change into 400 West where your rented truck may strike another vehicle because of its blind spot. (This is more on the city than U-Haul; but, your location invites collisions; unless someone memorizes when and where to access 200W=300W=400W from 500 South. That is a big ask.) Customer service on this busy Saturday was the antithesis and Herculean. I arrived to a long line where employees were sprinting to and from the service desk to accommodate customers; apologizing and doing the best they could. I've never seen such an amazing attention to detail to expedite under difficult circumstances. This was the best customer service I've ever seen in this or any other industry.

I made an appointment to have my hitch installed on Thursday 3/14 at 11AM. I showed up for my appointment only to be told I don't have an appointment. I asked them to look it up. They did and said my appointment was Friday, 3/15 at 9AM. I pulled up my email confirmation that showed the appointment was on 3/14 at 11AM like I had said. They simply said, "so". I said, so, I'd like you to install my hitch since this was the designated time. They said we don't do installs on Thursday's. I said you guys made an appointment with me to do so, so I would like you to honor that and install the hitch. They said they can't because they don't do installs on Thursdays. They said if I wanted it done, they could find another uhaul facility for me to go to. There was no apology and no respect. They didn't give a crap. They just wanted me to go away. Nobody ever called me to change my appointment. They just simply moved my appointment to a time that worked for them without any communication what so ever. I had made arrangements for pick up and drop off with someone else which wasted their time too. Then I had to make more special arrangements the next day because the time they moved it to wasn't good with my work schedule. I've simply never experienced worse customer service anywhere. Do not use this facility.

Your sells tactic of having a tempting dolly and blankets to sting sells from unassuming customers takes away square footage I am paying to use and seriously gets in the way of one packing a truck tightly. To be frank, both the tactic and inconvenience made me mad as hell. Not what I am use to nor expected.

Your check out process sucks. If I reserve online, when I go to pick it up, I have to redo all the steps I did when I reserved it. Plus it is way to time consuming. it takes a full 10 minutes to check out a vehicle. Ridiculous!

The truck was beat up, loud, difficult to steer and the passenger door wouldn't shut tight even when slammed. It would be helpful if the employees drove the trucks on the freeway so that they could service them better.

The bay door for unloading is broken - I selected a unit that was close to the unloading door because the clerk told me that's what it was used for. It wasn't until after I had gotten my unit that I found out that the bay door is broken, so I can't use that. All good, I had a key card to get in. I've been to my unit 4 times since I got it to move stuff in, and the key card access isn't working. I've told the lady at the front desk and she just lets me in another way. The only problem with this is that I have to do all my moving during their hours of operation... so anytime after 7 PM that I need to get into my storage unit, I can't. The staff is really nice and things are tidy and clean, but it's really frustrating that the bay door is broken, and so is the access to get into the indoor storage units. Knowing what I know now, I would have picked a different unit - or a different storage facility.

Process was easy to rent a storage unit, did it all online. I did go into the office to get assistance and the crew was fantastic. They are nice and helpful. Only improvement I would suggest is more motion sensors for lights as they kept going off on us.

The new manager is fantastic. I highly suggest corporate do something nice for her. The new manager explained everything to me, and would not let me leave unsatisfied. unit prices were reasonable for storage She's a fantastic person and I love the smiles. I will not go anywhere else, but this location. This had to be the greatest experience. I've had. I will be sure to let corporate know. P.s. if corporate does not do something nice for the new manager, I will myself.

My unit was locked out the first month I was there, and my info in the computer was not correct, but the staff was very prompt and helpful, they worked through the issues very well! The add on the internet said 24 hour access and I work graveyards so it would be nice on my nights off, but I was told the key pads were being fixed and the access is 5am to 10pm until this happens.

My only complaint is when I got the storage unit I told them I wanted to rent a truck. In 2 days and if I could get my new unit free for 1st month and they told me it didn't matter which day I got new unit that I didn't qualify. I want to know why??

Terry was wonderful! However, I had rented a unit and was only had it for two days, and I ended up not needing the unit, so I went in to close it out. Another young man, whom was also helpful, called upper management to ask if I could receive at least a partial refund since I didn't need the unit. The lady on the other end yelled so loudly that I could hear her from across the room stating, " absolutely not, she still has to pay for the full month and should know this due to the rental agreement!!!" She then hung up on the kind worker. Unacceptable behavior. There is no reason whatsoever, that whomever the woman was had to yell at that young man. He was trying to provide a great customer experience.. and he did. I wish that I knew the woman's name. I would call and stand up for that young man. Furthermore, the Bountiful location stated on the website that it was a 24-hour facility. After I had rented the unit, and received my lock, I was told that the hours had Changed to in-office business hours only, and the code that they give you for access will also not work. You have to go in to the office, wait in line, and have the staff get up to open the overhead door for access. Poor Terry was running around working harder than anytime I've ever seen, and he was still extremely patient and kind!

I LOVE uhaul as a company but this location is severely lacking. should really move to 24 hr access like so many other locations to compensate for lack of customer service from jen. ps if anyone needs to know all of their door security is going to have to be gutted with the electrical so a complete inconvenience for staff and clients. parking lot horrible location, if they have the chance they need to work with the city to have something done about their driveway and the condition it is in.

The staff are working very hard to keep things going despite current difficulties with staffing, etc. They are willing to help out their customers and make do with what they have. The staff were very willing to talk options with me when I needed to make changes and do different things with my unit. I was very pleased with their hard work and customer service.

Unit was in really bad shape. The door was loose on its hinges and the floorboards were wobbly. We had several rude interactions with the employees, and only one of them was helpful (tall man with short blonde hair, didn't catch his name but he helped us with the door). One employee (Damien) was very dismissive of us and ignored our request for a lower unit. Another was a short white lady who was just immediately aggressive and impolite. She made me wait 5 minutes just to see her and then proceded to tell me that the door was entirely broken and that we would have to take all of our furniture through a tiny black door. While the big door being broken wasn't her fault at all, she was immediately aggressive and I felt defensive. There was also no alternate good routes outside the Uhaul storage area which made this a NIGHTMARE. Never coming back, thanks.

Damien was the guy helping us out. Never met someone so apathetic at this place. We were trying to deal with a very harrowing situation and he interrupted us constantly, ignored me when I said I didn't want a unit up stairs because we were doing all the labor by ourselves and generally didn't care about us. Very annoyed with the service, and the storage unit area was very run down and not very stable floorboards. Bathroom was also filthy and there was no water available to drink.

I first arrived at this location in Nov. 2020, with a U-Haul truck for of possessions which couldn't be unloaded as our apartment wasn't ready yet. The young lady who assisted me, gave me not 1, not 2, but 3 units, free for the first month! Prior to the first month ending, we vacated 2 of the units and kept one for seasonal items. We vacated this final unit at the beginning of June 2022, not because of being dissatisfied, but because with the rising cost of gas, I needed to make budget cuts wherever I could. Any time that my situation changes for the better, I would definitely use this location again.

Getting charge sometime and you could not even get in cause there system did not work the four time I went did not work they had to reset it in order to work but ya then when your payment is not on time they call you or send a letter makes me mad they do that and they can’t fix there problem with the system not opening

After making a reservation for a storage unit approximately 2 weeks ago to move in on the 30th of November I hadn't received an email or any sort of confirmation. So I called the uhaul number for this location and it ended going into a national que where they had no sort of reservation set up for me to move in yesterday. So we drove down to the location where I placed the reservation and there was none. So Jen was able to find a unit that was available on the spur of the moment and got it ready to rent for me and I'm so thankful for her understanding and my frustration with the whole situation! She went above and beyond what it takes to make a customer happy! Great job Jen!

A few weeks ago, had an experience when I rented a truck. I was disappointed that I had used the app to check in to save tons of time, yet ended up being shuffled from truck to truck for almost an hour while I had friends waiting. But it was business as usual, with no offer for free use of a hand truck or furniture dolley. Some kind of consolation would have been appreciated. I know things happen, but maybe Uhaul should rethink customer service when these things happen.

I really like our storage unit and the ability to pay by automatic payment. But when you changed your policy to only accept a credit card and not debt I left because I do not want charges made on a credit card. All payments previously came out of bank account. I move out from their a week later. You list my business. Plus you didn't even notify me of your change and charged my account a $15 late fee. Way to go. So I thought my unit was paid. Poor customer service. I was with you over 4 years and not one late payment. Your loss and I am happily gone.

I have had a awesome experience with the employees and Jen the manager. I was about to move my belongings elsewhere pror of Jen becoming manager due to lack of communication with the previous manager he was horrible. I have been at ease knowing that the security is highly watched and I have my units inside. It's pleasant to be able to pull your vehicle in the bay to load unload or go through your units A/C in summer & HEAT in the winter and all indoors. The employees all of them deserve a good positive recognition they all are amazing...... Thank you Brandon & Austin for taking care of my situation yesterday your awesome 

Moving can be a stressful time in anyone's life. I have moved dozens of times and used U-haul for all of my moving needs. This past Saturday, 5/1/2021, I was scheduled to meet the guys from Moving Help at 9:30 to unload the U-haul into a storage unit. Because the paperwork wasn't completed, I arrived at 9:00am at which time Jen Barker informed me that the system went down. There were people lined up in the store and U-haul trucks lined up in the yard for check-in...not surprising as this was the 1st of the month on a weekend. Jen and Brandon helped customers as fast as fast as they could using "old school" paper and pen methods. Jen couldn't use the computer to locate the unit I reserved, so we went looking for an available unit by foot. The process was time consuming, but not the fault of the U-haul team. We located the vacant unit and proceeded with paperwork, so the movers could unload the U-haul truck. Because the computer was down, every transaction took longer than expected, but Jen and Brandon were dedicated to helping everyone who walked in as best they could like pros, never rude and always polite and professional. Thank you Jen and Brandon for not giving up and taking care of me!

All staff was very helpful in showing me how to set the security system and walked me through it. They were polite and respectful. I was informed about the difference in quality of padlocks for my storage door. Also, I was informed about the perks of renting an indoor storage with security cameras and alarm system. I felt very good at leaving my belongings there. I would recommend U-haul for storage and as a place with competitive pricing. Thanks, Bountiful Team!

We started using the storage unit in May 2020. We put this unit on autopay from my credit card. In August, I received an email stating that my payment was late. I called facility and asked about it. I was told to ignore it. I went to access my storage unit on Friday, October 9, 2020. I found a non-payment lock on it. I was told that a janitor had change the ownership to "John Doe". It was explained that he was older, new and not very good with computers. I am still considering moving my belongings to another facility. I think it is extremely poor policy to allow a janitor to change a storage unit status and not to keep a historic record of storage unit ownership. The that helped me reestablish my storage unit were very apologetic, helpful and informative. I appreciate the staff being able to tell us what really happened rather than giving an excuse or tell me a lie.

I had a unit for one year. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The ONLY recommendation I might have is to give a way to create lighting within the unit. Like perhaps electrical outlets in the hallways or something. In a large unit, even bright flashlights aren't enough. I would highly recommend and will use again if I need storage in the future!
