The Uhaul return App does not work. Thank goodness Dave was working late & was there to help. Dave is a great employee. A client waiting behind me also returning had the same issue, the App did not work. But Dave was there is save the day! Did you know Uhaul charges 20,00 $ after hours if you don't return using the App.

The service staff were overall very good. My issue was with the condition of the electrical cable on the trailer. I observed the attendant straightening out the wires and separating the colored strands very close to the flat connector when he was hitching the trailer to my vehicle. It seems a previous customer may have damaged the cable and most of the insulation was completely missing from 2" of the wiring closest to the connector. I asked the attendant whether I could switch equipment as this was potentially unsafe and he remarked that was the only 4 x 7 trailer available. I offered to apply some electrical tape over the broken cables and he allowed me to do so (I have electrical experience). I explained to him that operating equipment with broken wiring can cause short circuits which could potentially blow the vehicle's fuses causing an even greater potential danger when the turn signals, running lights and stop lights fail to work unexpectedly. This is the second time in 2 months I've picked up reserved equipment and there have been electrical issues. I must say that having been a UHaul customer for 10 years both in the US and Canada, this is the first time I am seeing such failures to perform inspections and ensure equipment meets high standards of safety and quality. It appears the quality of equipment in Canada is overall much worse compared to US vehicles and trailers, so maybe UHaul needs to invest in management training for Canadian corporate and operational staff. Having a busy season and high frequency of rentals and returns is no excuse for poor maintenance and repairs.

Provide a heads up notice that when using the mobile app to pick up the rental, that a alternative contact would need to be available for verification. This delayed me picking up my vehicle as both my alternate contacts weren't readily available for the call from U-Haul.

This location is well maintained and fine. Of course they're not asking for feedback on my U-haul experience overall because they don't want to know how horrible it was. How U-haul continues to have a monopoly on this space I'll never know. I made my booking a month in advance and that did not stop them from calling me 24 hours before my pick up to tell me they didn't have what I booked and it would cost me more than 100 $MORE to get a truck now. Of course I always had the option to cancel… which they know d@mn well I don't, with only 24 hours before my move. So they back you into a corner and then tell you you can always cancel. What an excellent customer service strategy! They didn't even acknowledge the inconvenience to me or additional expense. The inconvenience of having to return a truck an hour away and have to pay for that additional gas and 2 additional hours driving is unreasonable. And that's on top of the additional rental cost. Honestly, just find another company who cares about people and repeat business.

This location does not answer the phones...impossible to reach someone. Line up of at least 8 people on Friday with a 30 minute wait in line. We booked a 26ft truck and subsequently changed the reservation to a one way. Everything confirmed and the we received a call from the Brampton location and said a vehicle was not available for us even though we booked weeks in advance. It was Uhaul that suggested the change to one way and changed our reservation. We then got a call from the Brampton location that a one was not possible and we must pay for a return service which was over 200 $more expensive. I drove the vehicle almost 450 kms. The inside of the windshield was filthy to the point I had to pull over to wipe it down. Windshield washer fluid was empty. The alignment on the truck was terrible and the truck would shake horribly at 100km/hr...assume the rear tires were cupped or had a worn belt. This is without a doubt one of the worst experiences I have had with Uhaul products. I was an hour waiting in line picking up the vehicle on Friday and didn't end up leaving the dealer until 4pm...pickup was 3pm as no one had noted the chip in the windshield which delayed everything. I returned the vehicle at 3:15pm Sunday and was told I was being charged an extra day as it was to be returned at 2:45pm, although my contract stated 3pm. The attendant waived the extra day charge. I let the attendant know the condition of the vehicle and all he could say was sorry....seemingly it was getting prepped for the lot and sent on to the next renter. I honestly don't know how anyone can run a business like this.

I got to the location with my online forms all done and ready to go. Locate my van and find another customer coming out with the keys for it. Than was told too bad I'll have to go in and get another. Now I had to wait in the big line which I thought the whole online part was supposed to skip, and go through the whole process I did on the phone now in person. Atleast after that the vehicle was clean and ready to go and they knew exactly where it was. Drop off was easy. Please reasses the whole online pick up as it was completely useless and frustrating

It took me literally 1-2 minutes to drop off the trailer. Attendant was there ready to accept the trailer and unhooked and said I was good to go and Thank you. How much better than this level of convenience can you ask for!! Just awesome!!

Have alternate options for customers who do not want to scan their personal ID. When there is no information on how it is being protected from scammers and hackers, and when destroyed if ever being that it is online.

you guys have a good trucks, lady at front was friendly, but no care for customers...i had to move from brampton to london and when i booked the registration I tried calling you guys for 5 days straight and NO ONE i mean NO ONE answers the phone at this location...your select number 2 to speak with someone and it doesnt even connect...you need to call your toll free line and when that finally connects, it rings and rings and rings...i was hoping i could do a one way trip without spending money on the kms/extra day billed for bringing the truck back but once i showed up you didnt have the option...i even explained the scenario to the front and the only relief i received is i can return the truck before 9 am the next day....full day of moving and 2 hr drive back that early to avoid a day charge ill just bite the bullet at that point....so take my 600 i spent on the service no issues there, youll just never see me again and will never recommend the U-Haul brand to anyone

The day before my appointment, i called to confirm and see if I could leave the car overnight. I had to leave a message with head office which was never returned. When i arrived the next morning for my early morning appointment, on a holiday, i was informed that the hitch was not in. That's just unacceptable. However, in speaking with the manager, she rushed the shipment and gave me a discount which almost made up for the inconvenience.

It costed me more than I expected. I used it for 3 hours and had to pay 103 $plus 12 $of gas. 0,59 per km plus gas is expensive.

The actual store was in good clean shape but the “Return Vehicle” area was less than adequate. When parking my car to pick up my rental I noticed the work area was littered with nails and screws which could send a vehicle out with a flat tire, even mine! Sweeping up would be my suggestion! Overall though, my rental went really well and I will likely come back should I need another vehicle.

a lady who was supposed to receive my keys for rental van was rude. as i drove underneath the uhaul tent where they receive return vehicle, lady over there was still sitting on bench looked at me asked me whether if i damage the van front bumber. i told her, it was already dented and i already took pictures and reported in my online pickup form. she rolled her eyes. didn't say nothing and just point me to move forward. i told her why she being rude. she got more mad and told me that she isn't going to help me. I ignored her and move forward and started filling my online return vehicle form. i felt very racial because she was very kind to other ethnicity customer. as a customer i dont feel like coming back to uhaul and being treated like that. neither it effects me if you guys take any action, you guys have lost a customer.

Your employees need more training. Each employee was taking 20-25 minutes on each customer. May be they were just killing time. I had no complain for the morning staff. They were all quick and professional. But the evening staff working around 5pm, i am complaining about.

I had declined the insurance and the customer service lady still charged me 15 $. Really bad customer service. Everyone is arrogant and don't know their jobs and end up going asking the manager for everything. Never again am I lending from that location or maybe Uhaul as a whole. The vehicle they provided did not even have AC working….

I specifically asked the counter staff what happens if I return the trailer 10 min before closing or if there's any time deadline for the drop off date if there's any penalty or cost I need to worry about. She reassured me many times there's no need to worry and I can return it anytime. Lo and behold I return it and the staff at the lot says I was "late" for about an hour so I'm gonna be charged additional day. I even cleaned the trailer before returning it (I believe in returning anything in Good or better condition than when I picked it up) but that was a low blow. When I picked up the trailer, it had dirt, leaves, and some kind of sticky oil residue all over the trailer. It was a work and a half to clean it usable for our use. At least the lot staff said no charge will be made but you gotta be clear and upfront with every small detail. Don't pull off any "fine prints" tricks. Be honest and be upfront with everything money wise, to everyone.

Very poor customer experience with uhaul. The rep insisted for 3 reference names and contact numbers as my residence address is Mississauga, ON and am not a resident of Brampton, ON. Why ask for this since uhaul has my credit card number? Secondly the rep said the reserved item is not available and tried to upsell. On refusal the original item reserved was provided. No sanitizaion material available at store to clean the equipment before renting. Complete disregard for maintaining Covid protocol Very unprofessional attitude and poor customer service!

Overall, the service was great. The reservation process was simple and the person I dealt with was very friendly. The return process was simple also and the staff were very friendly. I did had to wait for a while to get my van. The one that was assign to me was not on the lot. However, it was rectify.

First of all, thank you U-Haul for this moving business, which makes life so much easier for people who are moving. Although, the employees are experienced and some not so much, it was not a pleasant experience. There were 4 counters and only 2 employees and a long queue. However, It's very convenient to use U-Haul and I do appreciate the effort that goes into such a business.

This location is absolutely phenomenal. We have used them 3 times in the last month. Each and every employee is beyond helpful and cheerful. My husband and I were in disbelief how amazing the customer service is here and consistently great. Lots of younger employees and they are all helpful and seem to actually enjoy their jobs. Please consider explaining to the personnel that receives the returned trucks how your system of fuel measurement works. Yesterday, I was almost charged a whopping 100 dollars excess because the gentleman who received my truck couldn't understand that the truck gauge only measures in quarters of a tank, whilst the sheet printed by your system does so in eights. Thank goodness a supervisor showed up and told him otherwise. Still he did not even offer a “sorry for my mistake”. Rather, he said in frustration: “can I charge the credit card on file?”. We all make mistakes, I can understand that, but it's better to acknowledge and move forward positively.

Lighting was terrible especially where upper units were located. Trucks were always parked blocking entrance way to storage units. Sometimes there were sketchy people waiting outside of the door trying to get in without a code. My storage unit would have water in it every time the snow melted - there is a leak coming in from the right side of unit by door.

In the past 10 years I have used the storage space at UHaul a few times.I have always been impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and I have also observed how well they take care of the vehicles.I do have one recommendation and that is some of the staff need to smile more while serving customers.The cleaning lady was always very helpful and pleasant. I would definitely use UHaul again in the future.
