The after hours check in for returning a trailer is awful. It isn't the fault of this location but rather the fault of the uhaul website. It is not user friendly and on three different attempts, it kept taking us in a loop and would never land on the page to process the return.Robin W.

Not have so many hidden costs that inflate the advertised rate of what you can rent a truck for. The cost of my rental was listed on the wall for 29,95 $. What did I end up paying? 82 $+ Almost 3 times over what you think it's going to be when you walk in.HAROLD B.

Went there on Saturday. One person working for five people checking in and out. Understaffed. Was put on hold for 20 minutes and eventually just hung up. Some manager ought to hire another person or two. What the hell are you doing up there in management? Sitting on your asses for sure.TERRY K.

When a customer uses a credit/debit card charge their cards for their purchases on the same day of the purchase. I made a reservation, paid with a credit card, my card was charged that day, but had to extend my rental one day and my card was not charged until over 3 days later. This delay in payment caused my account to become over drafted which cost my the negative balance caused by the late payment and the 35 $overdraft fee.Jonathan C.

Hire more people because we had to wait for counter person while he was outside with another customer. Truck was given to us dirty...just needs some TLC and that place could be pretty good.GARY H.
It was an easy process quick check in and easy. The gentleman that helped me was nice and very informative. He said he was training to become an assistant manager he was well prepared for the position.CHARLESADRIAN W.
The location and overall experience was fine. The fact that uhaul charges a per mile fee and requires you to return it full of gas is double dipping in my opinion. It should also say that somewhere on the website. I budgeted for this and had to adjust for the gas usage. Probably wouldn't have rented it had I known. Guess when your the only game in town, customer service isn't a priority!Tim T.

The van I rented was filthy inside with dog hair, food, trash, etc. I was told it had a half of a tank of gas which was not the case but was told I had to return it with the same amount (half tank). All of the employees were very nice but my overall experience was not pleasent. In fact, I regret the decision and the price was very unreasonable.Suzanne G.

We are very disgruntled by services of the uboxes. Charges were not done as quoted on day of booking, even though contacted the uhaul location where boxes were shipped, they did not have correct amount of trailers for pick up. Had to wait hours for same. Also kept receiving notices for storeage payments, which we did not even store at the facility, also late charges etc.etc. We no this is kind of a new service, and are relieved that all our belongings are waiting for us inside the home, however, were stressed thru the who experience. Francis/Joel and Gabby in Bristol were very helpful though, finally were able to square away all billing our issues too. The Hammond'sGordon H.

Only if Dealing with Dana and other employees and not the manager! The manager was rude and miss quoted me prices from day one I went in to get prices for next day went back and he said it was a whole 100$ more than quoted day before. He was rude and then when returning I had a suspicion to take a picture of my mileage and fuel to show I was under on my mileage I paid for and fuel was actually a tad above what it had when I picked it up. He tried to tell me I could go ahead and leave but something told me to stay. I went inside and found out he tried to say I brought back low on fuel and even though I swept it acted as if I didn't. I had even returned a whole day early. The manager has no personality and seems to be out just to take people for a ride. Besides being rude I realize he's an unhonest crook! Dana and the other gentleman working had been running the other location when I used them prior and never had any issues. But I don't know where they got this new manager! He's lazy , rude and just not a good representative of uhaul! If you have to go to uhaul definitely don't deal with the manager! They should had left the other 2 guys manager from the other location!Tracey F.

I am delighted with the service and equipment from my recent purchase and apologize for having no actionable negative criticism. If I really dig deep for one I would suggest lowering prices but to be fair that is one I will always state.TRIGGWESLEY L.
The person that got my truck ready seemed to be very untrained and just didn't know what he was doing he left the store to go check the mileage and gas on the truck for the contract. He came back and said it was at 1/4 tank of gas and that the mileage was at 140,000. When I got in the truck there was trash as well as a very overwhelming smell of cigarettes. I turned the truck in and it had 3/4 tank of gas and barely over 12 000 miles. I went back into the store to confirm that it was the correct truck and the other gentleman came outside and confirmed it was the correct truck. I returned the truck the same evening and the gentleman checking it in was super confused on the mileage as I was and informed me that I had dealt with the manager when I arrived and the manager is the one who checked me into the truck. There was another customer waiting on the truck so they had to go ahead and check it back in but said they would have the manager fix it because they wasn't quite sure what he had done regarding the mileage. The two gentlemen when I returned the truck was super helpful and tried to help the situation but had no solution. This manager should not have the title as manager if he can't correctly check out a rental.Tyler B.
Worst U-Haul experience EVER. The guy was lazy, unprofessional and charged us more for a vehicle that we didn't ask for. When asked to remedy the mistake, he promised he would and then of course did NOTHING about it. I'll go anywhere but here from now on. Apply the credit owed to customer in timely manner. Don't give the wrong container to the wrong customer. Quit misplacing containers. I have had to followup with your locations multiple times. Employees have called to say that the manager is working on applying the credit card to my account. I have not received the credit.Jamie P.

The facility is climate controlled. You back your vehicle into a secure 2 bay area and use a keycard to open the doors to the facility. Once inside you find carts for your use, as well as security beyond what you would expect. If someone tries to open your unit without first scanning your keycard to gain entry an alarm sounds and security is alerted. I hate to write bad reviews, but I feel compelled to express my concerns about this visit. First off no one was visibly in a UHAUL uniform other than being behind the counter I wasn't sure who worked at this location no logo hat, no logo shirt or coat, and no visible name tags. Although I didn't have a reservation there were clearly plenty of trailers that I wanted to rent. No one spoke to me while I waited for service, I had to approach the employee at the counter to then be told he would be right with me. In the middle of our transaction the employee abruptly left without a word to me (I can only assume it was to get the equipment I'd number). I was handed several pieces of paper that were lose no staple or contract holder and told to follow him in the golf cart. I then had to instruct the employee to cross the safety chains when hooking up the trailer for safety. I also had to ask if the green sticker were in place of the usual X stickers for damage or should we not damage on contact, he never answered just shrugged it off. I said well this trailer is well used and I wouldn't expect any issues with more damage. Upon returning there were no clear return lanes just the same four trucks in front of a stop sign from when I rented some five hours before and 5 trucks pulled parallel to the door so no one could have a clear view of the front door I assume that's why the employees sitting behind the counter didn't approach me as the sign instructed I wait with the equipment. After waiting twenty some minutes I did a self return on my phone and left the trailer in the the drive lane to show some displeasure with the lack of customer focus and lack of concern from the employees at this location. If I need equipment I will try a neighborhood dealer or drive to the Johnson City center where I have received quality service before.Donald G.
