The only issue was for mobile pickup, the keys were not in the lock box. Everything else on mobile worked - if there had not been someone at the location (or I had tried to do the pickup not during opening hours, then the mobile option would have not worked. Not entirely sure I would choose this option again.

The eventual costs -201 $ were well above the original quote -168 $ obtained both on the web site and from an employee at the location when we phoned ahead (for reference: 8 hours, 450 km, 9' cargo van). She was very nice to book the van for us, but the quote we received for the reservation did not match the website quote, but was instead the 19,95 $/day + km). When we came to pick up the van, the quote was now 208 $for the same duration and kilometres. In the end, the charges did match the 109 $/day + 0,20 $/km + HST, but that is way more than the original quote from the web site and the employee at the location confirmed by phone (she probably just checked on the web site herself). I think the issue is mainly with the web site. For one, it confuses miles and kilometres. It also assumes the wrong number of hours and whether the driving will be in-town or out-of-town. (It also tries too hard to upsell other services, by pre-selecting some values instead of leaving at 0.) As well, it can be difficult to contest the existing damage on the rental. The original pictures that were offered of the vehicle are from much too far for the existing damage to be visible. Had to take a lot of pictures of various dings on the van, easy to miss some (especially inside), and upload the pictures (hard to check how visible they are as they remain very small in the on-line tool). These vans get used a lot, so they do end up with a lot of dings. Many were already marked with a little sticker. Nice. However, many quite visible ones were missing stickers. At least, we did not get a lot of hassles when we returned the van. Two days after the rental, I still have not received my bill confirming the details of the charges. So, in the end a few hiccups and misadvertized rates. Otherwise, easy pick-up and drop-off at that location. Unfortunate that the employees are not in a position to address the quote issue and can only work with "what the computer tells them".

I was entitled to a free storage. After getting a reservation approved with uhaul team, the facility manager of the said uhaul location ( 2720 queensview dr) refused to give me the unit.

We waited 25 minutes after our pickup time before we were able to interact with the only UHaul employee present. It turns out the delay resulted from the employee having to take calls in addition to dealing with processing bookings. The employee was the only staff present. This delayed ourselves and at least 4 other customers waiting in line. Furthermore, the information confirmed at the time of reservation did not appear to be in the UHaul system such that we had to correct the estimated mileage and other details as part of the truck pickup process. Thus delay could easily been avoided. The phone verification of pre- existing vehicle damage is also not very effective. The pictures are useless because of poor resolution - which resulted in further delay identifying non-recorded damage to the vehicle (2 areas on back of truck) before we could depart.

My original reservation was extremely poorly managed at the address indicated below. I requested a self pickup only to discover that my reservation was logged as a hand delivery. This service was not available at this location and after 30 minutes waiting to speak with a customer service rep. I was told that I would have to travel across town for another van. Two other people were having the same issue at this locale and oddly one couple had also managed to book the same van I was there to pick up. The person who was on site offered no assistance other than to tell everyone waiting that there was a video we could access online to “learn” how to self check out. Very unhelpful. It took 2 hours after my scheduled pick up time before I was on the road. I requested a call back and my expectation is that I will see a reduction in the amount paid for my rental as well as an apology for the extremely poor service that I received. I'll reserve a final assessment of U-Haul for the time being. Mistakes happen and I'll be interested in seeing how this fiasco is addressed by corporate. 11 Sweetnam Dr Stittsville, ON K2S1G3

All the extra fees made the price way more than anticipated and buyers should beware. I was expecting to pay around 80 $and it was about 160 super disappointing. I would rent from Home Depot next time.

To avoid a rate change due to the mileage the company should make sure to have the vehicles/trucks available at the booked location. And you would be the #1 moving equipments/trucks rentals.

Straight up honesty. I was told that the equipment would be adequate for towing and I was given a specific price with milage and was double charge. Only had the vehicle for one day and was triple charge for insurance and truck.

This was used a mid way point to store belongings from my late father for a sibling who could not get across the border due to COVID. It was my first experience using uhaul for storage and was delighted with the ease of loading and unloading. A great experience for sure!

I was lied to and the rep at the location doesn't know how to do her job. When I tried to checkout, the order wasn't online and I couldn't. So I was billed an extra day even after bringing it in early. Tried calling support but was on hold for almost an hour and he wasn't able to find the contract either and told me to call the location and everything would be fine, I did that and it wasn't fine. The rep had no idea about the call to support and wasn't interested in helping other than explaining that there was nothing she could do. I was then hungup on, after raising my voice in frustration..

It took 50 minutes to check the vehicle out, partly because the online system could not be made to work on my phone. It was an intensely frustrating experience. To make matters worse, when I returned the vehicle the staff took the kilometre distance I had traveled to be miles and converted that back to kilometres, resulting in me being significantly overcharged, and it must have taken another 20 minutes for that blunder to be corrected. I will never use Uhaul again if there is any reasonable alternative.

Text check in didn't work, caused delays. Had to do in person check in but there was a line up and closing time was within the pick up time. I was called when late for drop off and they were extremely aggressive on the phone and demanding I come bring it back immediately. I had unforseen out of town delays, single mom moving daughter in crisis so this didn't help my overall experience.

The employees at this location were amazing. Initially upon check in I dealt with two women that were utmost kind and very personable! I was checked in fast and even shared a laugh. My experience in store was very good! Upon returning the truck I dealt with a very kind man he was very fast and even made time to crack a joke. I appreciate the precautions the employee was taking due to the pandemic as I watched him sanitize the truck cab. Overall experience with the truck and equipment was also fantastic my overall experience was a 10/10

Both location pick up and type of vehicle was not what I had booked. I booked a 10' cube van and received a 9' van which meant I needed to make 2 trips! Will be looking for alternative truck rental in the future.

The gas mileage was not properly explained and I signed off on something I did not understand which resulted in me getting charged for gas when the meter did not move. This is because it was indicated that the gas was at a line on the paper that didn't exist on the vehicle.

The wait to get the keys was very long. There was only 1 employee there (10am Saturday morning, a big moving day) and she was on the phone with an irate customer for 20 minutes and couldn't help the growing line of customers that just needed to get their keys.

Staff member was not great. They didn't mention where the dolly was or the return process of the truck for after hours. I only learned about the return process by my friend that told me you have to go on their website and fill out the info when returning the truck. Windshield and gauge cluster was wiped with sanitizer which caused lots of streaks on the windshield. Please use windex.

Uhaul committed fake advertising. The rate per km on the website was 0,69 $ but I was charged 0,89 $. When I expressed my displeasure and that the website started differently I was told nothing could be done about it. I will never use uhaul again and will tell I know along with social media that uhaul is untrustworthy and should not be used.

Unfortunately the inside of the vehicle was not cleaned very well. The dashboard was covered in dust and the seats had tons of animal hair on them. I had to put down towels on the seats to sit on so that the hair didn't transfer to our cloths. And because if the dust on the dash I wasn't sure if the steering wheel had been sanitized so I made sure to do that myself.

Melanie Hache (as well as the other employees I dealt with) was fabulous the entire year my items were at Britannia storage!!! I am extremely pleased with the service she offered me. From the very first day she helped me with the truck rental and then assisted me with finding a suitable storage locker that would hold my belongings. A month later when I need another unit, she was there to help again! Finally, over the course of the year she was accommodating and friendly in-person, over the phone as well as via email. We moved out of storage over the long-weekend in April and were please with the convenient hours and access into our units. I absolutely recommend this location for a great experience and service.

There was damage to the drivers door that sometimes would prevent the door from closing properly, you had to slam it to shut it. Also there was a loud clunk noise from the left front of the truck when the brakes were applied.

When I contacted the Queensview - Pinecrest U-HAUL location I was very new to having a need for a large storage locker. The U-HAUL staff was professional, patient and efficient. The large garage style locker was clean and so accessible. The location manager processed my move-out efficiently, professionally and with grace. The whole experience was very positive.

Thank you so much for the exceptional service and very clean environment. My daughter is a University of Carleton Student. During the onset of the pandemic we had to quickly empty one apartment and lease another not knowing if she would be returning to the campus in the fall. We had so much more to bring home than I anticipated and didn't know if and when she would be returning. I called around and I must say the U-Haul team was by far the most friendly, professional and honest. The staff was pushy on move in. After packing and driving across Ontario, I assumed I had to complete my check-in in person. On-line it listed all the things included in my rental, but because I entered the office they weren't included. The person in the office did not inform me that if I checked in on my phone I would receive benefits I could not in person.

I am very impressed with U- Haul Storage of Brittania. The units are very clean and dry and have protection from mice etc. in the unit. The hours are very convenient and flexible and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They are very professional.

Too many internal ramps with bumps Things fell off my cart a number of times . A real pain. The billing was unclear. I received a 0 $dollar bill that I called about and was told I had the rest of the month to pay and then received another notice I was over due and additional charges were being added. I then called the manager at the storage facility who told me the right info and reimbursed the late fee as I paid right away. Then my friend tells me he received a bill for the supposed outstanding fee at least 10 days after I had paid it. This irked me to no end that my friend would be bothered by this.I vowed to remove my stuff and to never deal with uhaul again. A similar thing happened when I rented a truck from you. I was told I could pick up my truck, dollies and moving blankets at one location only to be told they didn't have dollies or blankets and I was expected to go to the other end of the city to pick those up. I still can't believe that this helter skelter approach is your business model and that your help line doesn't seem to know what it is talking about. The actual truck was in very good shape and drove well. The storage facility was easy to access and the staff were great. It just seems that the corporate side of things didn't have the right information. As a first time renter I found this very frustrating.

Great, clean and secure location. Felt that my items would be safe. Easy move-in and move out dollies provided. One issue, 1 of 4 loading bay doors out of service makes moving things in/out tricky.

Too expensive, especially for the container sizes and usefulness. Unless I am 12 feet tall, these containers aren't useful as there is no shelving to house items. Poor design.

When moving everything out, wasn't allow to put elevator on 'service' to keep door open while loading and unloading. (this caused a few bumps on us and furniture) A little inconvenient.
