I was charged for gas even though I put gas on the truck I was charged for four gallons and I only drove 10 miles Someone misread the fuel in the truck and I paid for itPEDRO S.
Understaffed, waited excessively long to get hooked up. Also was charged an extra day for some reason. The girl hooking up my trailer was on a speaker phone call while hooking up the trailer. It was very unprofessional and slowed down the process. I will never return to this uhaul location. The safety chains were also worn down so much so I doubt they would have held the trailer if for some reason they needed to be used to save the trailer. All in all this was by far my worst uhaul experience in the last 4-5 years I've been renting trailers from uhaulTHOMAS G.

Tried to get in contact with this location several times. The person at the counter took my ID to check in. The check in process took a long time and when I left, I realized that he did not get me my ID back. Left 4 messages for the location with my phone number. Left a note with the u haul keys. The truck had not been cleaned from the previous use. The low tire pressure light came in when I started the truck â€¦ I went into the facility tans noted it to the associate; he said it would be ok. I was not satisfied and requested that he check all tires and add air as needed. Communication with the associate was less than positive.MARY F.

Driver's side door did not fully close. We were told by Stephen Rhodes that if we returned the truck with 1/4 tank (we were given 1/8), he would give us 33 $off. We did but we were marked as 1/8. Very poor customer service to charge for 2 rental periods. We made huge effort during Boston rush hour traffic and when I arrived just before 4pm I couldn't even pull into the parking lot with how poorly the staff had the trucks organized. Everything is perfect with the location it is the uhaul reservation system that is a mess!! I am also contacting u haul because I don't understand some charges in my receipt!Marcio M.
My issue was in the booking. UHaul changed the pickup location from a 5 minute drive to a 45 minute drive (which makes it a 90 minute pickup) the day before. Also, I was told at pickup we need to confirm my emergency contact live to continue booking. With family members working this was more challenging than it needed to be.JOHN N.

Trying to understand for a 19,99 rental fee and 27 miles how does the total bill come to 81 dollars and I added 10 dollars worth of gas. 91 dollars for a 2 hour window is a complete and utter overcharge and wait time to speak to someone is 19 minutes. Poor service and rates!!KELVIN G.

You verbally told me the amount of gas to put in the gas tank. I put that amount it and not I'm getting a bill for 32dollars because u said I'm 7 gallon under. This is beyond hilarious considering I went less than 50iles according to your odometer. I very much want my 32 dollars back or I'll have to take action with my credit card. My only suggestion is that you should have all the trucks/vans start on a full tank. I was in a rush to get to where is needed to be, major time crunch for this move. When I picked up the van it had just a little over a 1/4 tank. I found that to be incredibly frustrating that I had to stop and fill up before my day could begin. Plus, it would take all the guess work of â€œHow much gas do I need to put?â€. Just have full tanks! It is so much more convenient in so many ways!MAEVE C.

Very happy with the equipment and check-in. The drop-off was pretty unorganized. I got there at 7:50 am and sat in the return line for 30-40 minutes while the kid moved trucks, vans, and showed another employee how to drive. i have a dispute with the bill. I never received the blankets and dolly that i wanted. I called them and waited on hold for 15 minutes, told the woman i spoke with that the equipment wasnt in the back. i had called only 20 minutes after leaving uhaul, when i got to my first location. she assured me i wouldnt be charged. I am in the process of working out an agreement with the U Haul manager due to an mice and mice dropping in the unit. while moving things around and taking things out I was startled by mice in the boxes. I havent paid due this situation. I don't even want to return to the unit. I have always used UHaul for my storage needs when ever I needed to. This is highly unusual. I'm asking g for an arrangement I dont want my belongings auctioned ed off. I have spoken with the manager George from the Main Street UHaul I. First of all I was supposed to get a storage unit there they reserved one but upon arrival they had none there open and then on top of it they took my deposit for a few extra miles over after I then had to go pay for storage unit for the month because you guys are supposed to give me a free one that month and you guys did not have any open in that location so I had to then pay for a storage unit and you guys took my f****** deposit I would much like to get that backKevin W.

I entered a no answer in regard to maintenance of equipment only because the driver side mirror was unusably loose. I had to use a bungee strap to hold it in place because it blew around when the truck was in motion.EDWARD C.
UHaul intentionally moves location away from the preferred pickup location. This causes additional fuel and miles for the customer. Additional miles is of course a business strategy. While UHaul dictates the pickup and drop location which are 13 to 15 miles away from customer location, there is additional cost involved in transportation as well. Moreover the rep who spoke on the phone was rude to ask if I like this location or cancel as understands that there is a moving plan and I cannot chose a different move at the last minute. I would prefer and recommend a different mover service like Budget to my friends.Amalan A.

I was a little put off when we got there and the cashier informed me we were 2 hours late for our reservation and after 30 minutes they could have given away my trailer. As it had been pouring rain and I had no desire to stand in the rain while the trailer was hooked up, we waited till the rain let up before getting the trailer. I'm not sure if its common for people to not show up for their rentals, but I figured this was like a car, if I did not show up, I'd still be charged. So I was put off by the fact that was the first thing she said to me, it was off putting. However, after that, the rest of the experience went well.DANIEL A.
