I was impressed with how kind and helpful Ostencia was when I picked up. I also had a logistical issue and needed to extend use 24 hrs. The woman on the phone could not get my credit card to go through , there was no issue on my end. When I asked if she would extend as a courtesy and I would pay upon return she was not able to accommodate me. The guy who checked me out was seriously lacking in basic customer service skills. Please, Thank You etc. he just shouts comments and demands at customers. I'll never use Uhaul again!!

What a great deal. Renting trailers from U-Haul is a great deal. Low price and unlimited miles. Even the extra insurance isn't that much more because of the low price. Was able to move everything in one trip with the large open trailer and it was so much easier then loading and unloading the heavy stuff into a pickup truck as it was much lower to the ground. Definitely would rent again.

I have the same issue that I previously had about the fuel. It was at a quarter of a tank when I picked it up. I went a tattoo of 16 miles and I went to the gas station right next to this site I put in 3 gallons of gas and it was slightly above a quarter of a tank. When I returned the truck I said to the associate that I didn't have my phone so I couldn't get a picture of the gas but that it was more then when I picked it up. When I got home I got a receipt saying the charged me for the fuel of 5 gallons of gas. This is a issue that happens other at this site and I am not sure why. At this point I will likely not be using this site again.

It was a horrible experience. We got stuck in the mud so I called UHAUL to let them know and they asked if I wanted the roadside assistance but I mentioned that I had AAA but I was never told that AAA doesn't assist with the truck that we had. The person I spoke with should have let us know that crucial information!!! We were stuck for hours because of not being told about this. I'm furious because there should be some disclaimer about that fact. It's not considerate at all!!! A neighbor had to help us because it was so late.

Yesterday I was there around 12:45 pm to rent a van soon I walked to the desk to customer service the girl that was there she was very unprofessional and not friendly and honestly that one I could see that she doesn't like to interact whith customer , I try to do my reservation before get there but I didn't notice it want finished soo I didn't have a confirmation number but at least she should be more nice and tell me that she would help to do a new reservation…..honesty she made us feel not welcome…..and at the final she gave us the paper to go pick up the van ( but she should be more friendly and tell us where the van is located ) she just said (H)  not even could direct if was on back of Bulding or on the sides no nothing on another words she made us feel ( go figure out) …. Poor customer service whith that girl

I got the gas we'll below quarter tank but your on line check-in stated that is was at quarter tank…..,totally inaccurate. I also took the van back with the gas slightly below half tank so you benefited from that but you charged me for every last mile. No benefit for me for the additional gas that you got

Our experience in Brockton was just terrible. I usually use Abington, but the truck we needed wasn't available, so that was the closest. We were scheduled for 7:30pm and arrived at 7:05. The assistant didn't look like she wanted to be there. Then she said the blankets were in the truck and our truck was to the right, gave us the key and off we went to try to find it. After searching the whole parking lot we found our truck behind another one, impossible to move. So we went back in there (it was 7:25 then). I told her about it and she said she needed to see the other customers in line first. There was a line of 3 customers, but I was there first and it wasn't my problem that the truck was not ready for us. Then she got up and went outside, saying we would need to change the truck. Another guy came, got a few keys and she said he would take care of it. On our way out, we picked up the blankets, we had a feeling they wouldn't be ready for us as promised. The guy went and started moving the trucks that were on the side of ours. We told him, our truck was that one, he said he knew it and continued to move the two trucks next to ours. On the second truck he was moving, he took over 10 minutes inside. My husband came to the window to ask him when he would move the other truck, to which he said that the keys were inside the truck, that my husband could move it himself. Of course my husband didn't want to touch another truck that wasn't the one we rented, especially since the space was really limited. The guy went back and forth with the truck about 6 times to be able to get the truck out of the way. When we looked in the back, of course the furniture blankets weren't there, so we just kept the ones we had brought, or that would have been another trip to the store. Terrible experience, not even close to what we are used to getting at UHaul.

I got scammed. I went 25 miles and instead of putting in the 2 gallons of gas I figured I would just pay the extra $12. Come to find out they told me I used almost 9 gallons of gas for 25 miles and then they charged me a $30 maintenance fee too.

Very non-professional my U-Haul had broken down they told me they would get me a hotel they never did I ended u p falling asleep in the U-Haul waking up to the police telling me that you all want a possession of there van which I still had the van by contract for two more days I told them I was in an unsafe neighborhood at that time it was 2:00 in the morning so they took possession of the vehicle 3 days later corporate calls me and asked me if I want to extend my contract a few more days I didn't even have the van till 3 days prior I will never recommend them to anybody I am very very unsatisfied with you all

CLEAN YOUR TRUCKS in between rentals!!! The cab and the body were both filthy!!! The truck had a bunch of damage on it when i checked it over. Compared to the pictures, the truck had no damage in the pictures of what it “should look like”. Then i get in the nasty cab and it was extremely low on fuel

My latest experience with U-Haul was a nightmare. It began from the very start. 1. When I arrived to pick up the pre-arranged rental there was only one staff member on duty trying to handle several people by herself. It took more than 30 minutes to actually get on the road. 2. The truck broke down a block away from our first destination. Luckily we hadn't loaded yet. 3. U-Haul roadside service initially said it would get to us in under 30 minutes but it actually took 2 hours. 4. U-Haul WOULD NOT arrange for a replacement truck until after roadside assistance came out to us. 5. They had no policy or plan in place to get us a working vehicle even though there were several rental locations less than a mile away. 6. Finally, after 3 hours they sent a "Lyft" to take me to the nearest location where they had "arranged" a replacement. 7. When I arrived at that location I was told I could not have that truck (that was sitting in the lot right in front of me) and they didn't know why they sent me there. 8. The situation was SO crazy and I was on the phone with SO many supervisors that the convenience store clerk started taking notes for me to help keep track of them all. 9. Despite the fact that there was a truck right there, and after another hour on the phone, they sent me an "Uber" this time to take me to another location half an hour away. 10. Finally I was in a new truck but overall had been delayed a total of 5 1/2 hours. During which time my employees were getting paid to sit stranded in a parking lot. 11. Then, Despite being told by numerous supervisors and customer service operators that they had extended my reservation, since it was already past the time I had said the truck would be returned. A call to the Brockton location proved that to be wrong. No one had extended the reservation and they were already looking for the truck. 10. The next morning when I returned the truck they had no idea how to do it since it was a different vehicle. (mileage, gas, etc) 11. For the next 2 days, I received a total of 3 different phone calls from U-Haul asking when I intended to return the truck I rented. (The one that had been towed). They had no record of the other truck. 12. I am still waiting to see what charges they attempt to add on my credit card and will not only dispute them all but also take this to arbitration if necessary. 13. In conclusion, It wasn't the breakdown that was the reason for my anger and displeasure. Breakdowns happen, and I understand that. But the fact that U-Haul has absolutely NO plan or policies to deal with the situation is what was so crazy! What if we had already been loaded; What if we had broken down on the highway; I can't even imagine what a nightmare that could have been! This situation could have been cleared up in half an hour. There was a perfectly good truck less than a mile down the road. Someone should have just brought it out to us and we would have been on our way. That is customer service... not 5 hours of phone calls, being on hold, numerous supervisors and departments (seriously, I lost count but I spoke to at least 20 people), sitting on the side of the road, Lyfts and Ubers and all the ridiculousness in between. I will NEVER rent from U-Haul again, nor will my business, my friends, my family, or anyone who was in earshot that day.

I returned the trailer as I had scheduled on February 23 at 6:46 PM. The employee working there at the time, Tristan had said that he had closed out for the night but inspected the trailer and said I was all set. Yesterday I received an email charging me for the use of the trailer until today February 28 despite the fact that I had returned it on February 23. Pretty pathetic.

The truck was clean. But when was on highway and local there was promblem with breaks. Felt like calipers not working. Breaks spungy and when breaks applied could not control wheels. Whole steering wheel shaking bad like wheels were going to fall off. When I brought truck back at 7 told one of the workers about it. Both times this week when picked up trucks they were in immediate need of gas. The 1st one had 23 miles til empty and the 2nd ones paperwork said it had 1/4 of a tank but it actually had a little less than 1/8th. It is a huge inconvenience to have to stop and get gas twice in the trucks. Maybe considering switching to leaving full and coming back full would be helpful. It would also make it easier to pay to replace only the gas u used. I have spent over 100 in gas just to go 2 towns over twice. . I understand it only has to be full to the level it came at but only a jerk would leave it almost empty for the next person.

The trailer I reserved at the location was not prepared for my arrival and when I arrive the trailer was damaged and it was the only trailer available In the class I reserved. Was given q motorcycle trailer instead of a utility trailer which made my Job more difficult and uncomfortable.

Do not do what they did to me. I was given one price when I returned the vehicle by the person who inspects it upon receipt. I asked him a few times if it wa correct, he told me yes. The I was there for over an hour trying to figure out how to do a partial payment between cash and a gift card. Then when the “manager” gets involved he was on speaker, and he was being very ignorant acting like it was my fault for the price I was given initially. He went on to say that he would not honor the initial amount given. I work in customer service. That was the complete wrong way to handle that situation. I would have been fired if I treated a customer as if my companies mistake, was theirs. Uhaul should have honored the first price given, and then dealt with whatever the employee did or didn't do properly. I WILL NEVER return to the Brockton mass uhaul ever again! Usually when I use uhaul, that's the one I use. This was just horrible service all around. Not to mention something simple I was there for over an hour because they didn't know how to do a partial payment! Never again!

Local office was wonderful and easy to deal with. The corporate # I had to call when the truck broke down was awful. They were condescending and not clear about processes. Further, they were not derive oriented. The mechanic James from Sunny's that showed up on scene was phenomenal! So helpful and friendly!!!

I am in the process of working out an agreement with the U Haul manager due to an mice and mice dropping in the unit. while moving things around and taking things out I was startled by mice in the boxes. I havent paid due this situation. I don't even want to return to the unit. I have always used UHaul for my storage needs when ever I needed to. This is highly unusual. I'm asking g for an arrangement I dont want my belongings auctioned ed off. I have spoken with the manager George from the Main Street UHaul I. For one there was an excessive amount of mice droppings all over my stuff..My stuff was ruined because of it purses got chewed up,a mouse died on top of a dresser of mine leaving it stained.They should of told me about the infestation so I could have better protected my belongings..Apparently the ONE black box wasn’t enough....I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

This place is soooooooooo unprofessional! They charged me insurance after I specifically said NO. I called and ask to speak to the manger and he would not talk to me. He refused they are all rude!!

I cancelled my unit because the facility had an issue with pipes bursting and water damage and I have never been compensated for my furniture that was ruined. I plan to contact corporate.

I been a customer since 1996 and went into the facility to go through my items in 2018 I had mouse and rat droppings around my belongings my daughter was injured due to break in attempts to my unit
