We rented a truck and a trailer for our car for a long-distance one-way move. After fully loading the truck, we came back to hook up the trailer, only to discover that the lights didn't work. We ended up waiting for about four hours to get it fixed (the actual repair only took about 20 minutes). I wish there had been an electrical check done on the trailer in advance so that we knew about the problem from the get go. It was pretty frustrating to find out about it so far along in the process, which meant that we had to scramble to change our travel plans. The staff was polite and accommodating, but they didn't have enough resources to do a good job (ex: no system to detect the electrical problem early on, some were new and lacked training, U-Haul check-in process is not very intuitive and staff have trouble with it, they had no way to efficiently get their equipment repaired, etc).

When you have customers rent the vehicle and your employees tell us to fill it up where we got it. They need to say approximately how much in dollars and not saying to put in this much gallons. I was almost charged 25.00 in gas because I didn't fill it up to the mark when I got it. I filled up to the point I know we was suppose to and such. And also when I went in to finish checking out it took us about 30 to wait in line with 1 employee and a few customers. I generally use the uhaul place I went to but I may start going to another company.

Although they did accommodate us with a truck last minute, they failed to do the reservation correctly and when we returned the truck, mind you it was returned early, I was charged for 2 days. Even though I specifically told the woman at the return that something was wrong with the reservation. she didn't process the return correctly. Then to fix it I had to call a number and wait forever to get a person on the line to file a complaint so they can refund me the overpayment. It was all an inconvenience on moving day which was already chaotic to deal with. I did get my refund. It wasn't a bad place just must have come on a bad moment or day.

Make it more streamlined. The line was very long and there was, at times, only one person at the desk. If someone hadn't registered online beforehand, it took them 10-15 mins to get set up. There was pretty good potential for someone to wait in line for 45 mins there just to get a truck.

I got the truck at this location and was getting a tow dolley the next day. When i went to pay for the truck, i asked the associate if it was the full price now. He was hard to understand and couldn't hear well, so I asked multiple times (which is fine), but he said yes twice that it was the full price. The next day when i was getting the tow dolley, I was charged for it and was explained that the other bill was only the truck. The overall price was more than what was quoted online so that was frustrating especially since the associate wouldn't answer my questions.

Stick to your rates you agreed to upon picking up the truck. My husband picked up a truck on Sunday at 3pm. The assistant manager Mark Collings told him how much the rental would be and gave him a printout to confirm the total rental price. When I returned the truck the next day at 1pm, the store manager Amy Laska insisted that her assistant manager Mark did not make that agreement with us even though I showed her the printout from the day before. Amy even went so far as to throw Mark under the bus and undermine his agreement by saying "he's deaf so maybe he misunderstood" although she had just got finished telling me he had been the assistant manager for 17 years so I'm sure he understood the polices and procedures just fine. I tried to explain that we should only be charged what the agreed rate was and she treated me like I was lying and trying to rip them off. In the end Amy Laska still charged me $91.37 instead of the $77.81 we had been told by Mark that we would be paying.

I was frustrated because we were told the tank was full, but after only driving 12 miles total we had to fill it up with 6 gallons of gas. I feel that the meter must not have been full and I am frustrated that I had to pay an additional $18 in gas. This was an unforeseen expense, especially since we only drove $12 miles.

There was only one clerk on a Saturday morning with twenty customers there. Then your computers froze up. She almost had nervous breakdown. Need more staff for busy times and a better online booking system. Only reason I didn't give one star is because when I returned truck the employee at that time was great.

I dropped off my U-Haul to this location and they claimed I never dropped it off and continue to charge me days after I had already dropped off the vehicle. Customer service was no help for 5 hours on the phone. I had to go there in person and have them check the camera in order to get my money back.

Everyone was professional, courteous and focused. Before I came to this location, I called a uhaul organization in Orem because it was closer and asked a few questions to verify prices, sizes etc. When I went in to pick up the truck in Orem I was surprised when the cahier contradicted the info I was told over the phone , what I explicitly inquired about. Not only was the info incorrect but because of their lack of attention, I also was set back a day because I had to find another truck, and then I had to go get a different storage unit because they misquoted their prices etc.. I got in touch with the Uhaul rental company on Columbia Ln. and let me tell you, there is a night and day difference. Columbia Ln. Uhaul, 5*'s./. Orem Uhaul??????????

I reserved the truck the night before from the Spanish Fork location. The truck was not there the next morning when I needed it so I had to go to the Provo location and rent a van. The lady they're mentioned a reservation guarantee and the guy at Spanish Fork said I would have to contact corporate about that so am I going to get compensated for not getting the truck that I had reserved?

Bumpiest truck I have EVER rented (not at all the smooth ride which your advertising promotes), which resulted in a lot of damage to my property. Very disappointed. When I mentioned it to the service person who handled my rental return, he didn't seem to care in the slightest and completely ignored my comment. Very disappointed with my uhaul experience and will likely be going with a different rental company in the future that cares more about their customer's experience, and delivers on their promises.

That “stop” sign on a key drop off box is nice (but I was so tired after the move that I noticed that only after I deposited the key...) still, everything went smooth - I’m impressed how customer friendly everything is. I got the furniture blankets but didn’t end up needing them. I asked for a refund for the unopened, unused furniture blankets and was told no, because my having them kept them from others. What an idiotic policy. Were they a lot of money: No, but I shouldn’t have to pay for things I don’t use and return unused. It’s an unethical business practice and I didn’t appreciate it.

I dropped off at a different location than expected. I got charged a fee for doing that which doesn't make much sense to me. Uhaul wasn't expecting the trailer anyway, so charging me a fee to change my mind as to where I'm taking it seems like taking advantage.

The location had limited customer parking due to trucks and trailers being parked up front. The checkin area for trucks didn’t look like it couple accommodate more than two in line. Narrow entrance and exit only wide enough for one vehicle at a time with one way traffic circulation. Rebecca who checked us in was awesome to work with!

If I reserve a truck and tow dolly I expect it to actually be there when I scheduled to pick it up. Instead I had to drive an hour and a half round trip to go pick up the tow dolly I reserved at another location. The reason I reserved it a month in advance is so I wouldn't have to do that. Not only did it waste my time but I had movers that had to wait on me to go get the dolly. The guy at the Provo location said he had been "working" on it all day but I only got a phone call to say that I would be able to pick up my reserved items until two and a half hours later than when I scheduled. He failed to mention that the equipment I was paying for wasn't even there. Needless to say I will never be using Uhaul ever again. It's not like its that hard. Just make sure that the equipment is there.

When I went in to pick up my truck, there was only one employee. He was doing his best, but he needed help. After going through the paperwork with me, he had to go out and clean a truck that had just been returned so I could take it. This all happened with people in line behind me. The employee was doing his, but it was too much for one person to do all that and give good customer service. There were no employees in the office for the first several minutes I was there.

The U-Haul was extremely grubby on the outside and FILTHY in the inside. All of my belongings got super dirty and grimy from being inside the U-Haul. In addition, the back doors opened by themselves when we were on the freeway in a rainstorm and my stuff got wet. Terrible equipment.

The website seems to show the 17' truck available when it doesn't even exist. Fix that, I was livid. The check-in asked everything that I provided in the reservation. A very abrasive representative called me at 4:30pm saying that the truck was due at 4pm. We had provided that as an estimate and it was never explained or suggested that such was expected.
