Everything was great.. On checkout, Peter was quite insistent if our unit was not absolutely clean, we would get charged. Because he said it three times during a five minute conversation, we ended up taking him out to the unit and he confirmed that it was indeed clean. We also took a picture for our own records. Great place; however, and we would use again, if needed.

Customer parking was limited (guess business was very good!) but we managed, parked in an unmarked but safe space. It was obvious after a minute doing the initial vehicle damage inspection, but it would be good to tell the renter that the little ding mark decals/tattoos represent damage which we do not have to account, again intuitively obvious after a minute. Store has what appears to be all the necessary moving tools and accessories, was very clean an organized, and the staff was very friendly and eager to help. Haven't used U-Haul in a while, used a competitor at a big box store, but will look here first in the future. The price per mile seems high since we have to also buy gas but I guess that is normal now.

After getting into the car, I immediately noticed that the key was difficult to turn in the ignition, feeling stuck. Initially, I assumed it was my own fault. However, even after turning the car off and restarting it, the same issue persisted. Additionally, the driver's door kept unexpectedly opening. Upon informing the clerk that I would be picking up a washer and dryer from the appliance store, I had assumed a truck with a ramp would be provided. To my disappointment, upon arriving at the pickup location, I discovered that the truck did not have a ramp. Despite other truck options being available on the lot, I was confused as to why I was given an older or inferior truck. This left me feeling unsatisfied with the service provided, especially as I felt rushed during the process. The clerk had to assist another customer before me with their trailer, which led to me being rushed through the process. I believe that if the clerk had hooked up the trailer first, they could have provided me with better customer service and avoided such issues. Furthermore, I was not informed about inspecting the truck before use, nor did I receive any text regarding this. It was only after I contacted customer service to file a complaint upon returning the truck that I learned about the inspection text. Although the clerk was friendly, I believe they need to dedicate more time to each customer.

I returned the vehicle with the same amount of gas it had when I got it, and was charged to fill it up after. I had requested and paid for a utility dolly that I was ASSURED we be in the vehicle, as I have experienced this issue before, it was not in the vehicle and I did not get the charge removed from account.

The U-Haul location where my items were delivered, consist of two separate U-Haul businesses with different closing hours. I called 24 hours in advance to have my you box set outside, ready for me to pick up my items. That had not been done. Although they immediately pulled it out for me, I was not informed that the closing time of the area where my UB was stored was much earlier than the regular store hours, so I was rushing in order to get my items pulled out.

There was a vial of testosterone found in the floor, this is a class 3 drug, if my son had been stopped and they found it, he would have lost his CDL, when I told the guy at return, he apologized, he did not understand the seriousness of the matter, I spoke to Charlie the mgr yesterday, only hot apology, this was a very serious matter

The outdoor pod that we rented for alsmot 3yrs was convenient, especially since we could drive up to it (used it for real estate needs-signs, supplies, etc). However, the wooden door on the unit started to rot/deteriorate so we eventually had to move units (11/23). We were promised moving help by UHaul but on moving day, they did not show. We had to move everything ourselves. However, they did reimburse our rent for November. By Jan '24, UHaul was under new management & decided to eliminate our pods altogether! We wanted to stay but there were no 1st floor units with drivable accessibility available for us so we had to move to a different facility. However, Uhaul was kind enough to reimburse our rent for January. While it was super inconvenient to move 2x in 3 months, the staff did all they could. We would recommend the facility to others!

The manager for this facility is horrible. Rented a trailer from them one time, their employee damaged our vehicle, he admitted it to me then went back on it of course the video surveillance disappeared. Over $6 000 worth of damage. Never could get any decent help from this staff… moved out never received a receipt showing my account was closed! Run away from this storage facility, Extra Space is down the street, much nicer, clean and excellent too!

I was given no key for the lock on the back of the truck. The back of the truck had a leak from the truck's roof, causing my belongings to get wet and quite possibly become damaged. This truck needs to be removed from the rotation and repaired.

I moved into a newly built outdoor storage unit. I placed a 60" flat screen television against the back wall covered by a blanket. At some point, it seems as though the unit shifted on its foundation, crushing the frame against my television, which smashed the screen. I was quite upset about this. Also, the unit was infested with stink bugs upon move out and all cloth items were moldy. This unit is not sealed from moisture and pest intrusion. It served my needs, but I was very disappointed about my television and the need to fumigate and clean all of my items that I removed upon move out.

I have had multiple situation with the on-site manager. I've been locked out of my unit multiple times with balance paid. There is only one staff member and that is the woman is Britney. She is very awesome and this is a true definition of customer service. The rest of the workers need to go back to training and he needs a new manager because Mr. Hart is fairly rough around the edges. Also, my items were mold an mildew and I've always had issues with the rent every single month!

I can't say enough about U-Haul moving and storage! The staff goes above and beyond . Everyone there is friendly and welcoming. I got behind on my storage locker , and they worked with me to help me get caught up. I have rented trucks several times from them as well. The equipment was always clean , safe, and easy to use. I would recommend them to anyone needing storage or truck rental. This is by far the best facility in the Canton area.

The truck I reserved wasn't available when I showed up, then the truck I finally got had a lock on it from the previous renter with no code given to me. We couldn't get into our unit because the doors didn't recognize the code and we had to wait an hour for someone to come help. Would not recommend and will not be using in the future.

Everything was fine until I was forced to move my belongings out of my unit because my unit was needed for an air conditioner. This was extremely poor timing for me and a huge inconvenience. I was offered an outdoor unit in exchange for my indoor unit which was also unacceptable. On the day I came in to question all of this I was greeted by a very unprofessional woman named Brittany who was sucking on a vape stick. When I explained the very bad timing for me to have to deal with moving my things and suggested Uhaul move my things to another unit for me since my moving was due to them, she responded with "that's not my job description". Regardless if its her job description or not she was extremely unprofessional. Overall the unit was fine, I paid that place over $7 000 in storage fees and never had an issue until I was evicted for an air conditioning unit. Very unhappy. Will not recommend.

Stored my RV under your shelter for 4 years. Complained on numerous times about the mud that kept washing in causing 2 inches of mud around my RV. I would have to shovel myself the mud so I wouldn't track it into the RV. I even had to put the tires on boards to keep the mud off the tires. Nothing was ever done.

I had valuable items destroyed at this storage and was treated badly when I brought it to the attention of the Manger there. I spent a lot of money there. All to be treated as if I was out to scam the company. Last straw was when I went to clean out my storage they had a company lock on my door and I asked if I owe the lady at the desk stated I do not but she nor the manger could explain why the had locked my unit out. I closed out the unit and the manger called me to tell me he will not rent to me anymore. Wow!! Is all I can say.

He was an absolute delight I was already having issues because for some reason they merged my reservation with my uncle’s name and I wasn’t able to get my reservation so he gave me the storage unit and put it under my name and is extremely nice about it And super helpful he did his best to try and accommodate my needs and explain things through for me

There was confusion often between store staff and your online billing system. I would pay online but would get calls from the store asking for payment. We were also locked out of our unit for nonpayment and we had made the payment.

I put several items on the loading dock because i was denied acess and had to pick up my handicapped 5 year old, when i went back a couple hours later everything was gone. I discussed the situation with a staff member who said he would inquire about it and pull video. i still have not heard anything so i guess i will call the police tomorrow and let them request the footage. rich kologe 470 390 2873

I still don't know if the trailer i rented has been officially checked in to this location. I dropped it off at 630 yesterday and the staff told me to do a self check in. He gave me some information but it was not helpful. I've created an account but there are no options to do a self check in???

My storage room flooded and damaged a lot of my things and the manger stated they are not liable. It rained in a climate controlled storage inside the building. I will see them in court. I was not in the unit a whole month.

The staff was great. My issue is with the area where I stored my camper. The gravel is not graded evenly. The bus parked next to me cannot park all the way back in his spot. This is due to the giant HOLE in the ground. The area was difficult to move around in as well. This is way to much money for such a badly maintained and sized area. I moved here only because my existing place is doing construction and I cannot stay there anymore. All other areas I tried were full. I will be moving out of here asap. The rest of the facility looks great.

My experience was very good and I would especially like to recognize Cody for his exceptional customer service. The only thing preventing me from giving perfect scores across the board would be the location and placement of parking signs and space barriers that sometimes were difficult to navigate around as we parked our rig. We have a very large (42') RV and need as much wiggle room as possible to park and store it. But that's it. We are changing storage facilities primarily due to a covered spot having come available elsewhere. Merci.

We were very satisfied with our experience at U-Haul in Canton. The Managers and associates were always friendly and knowledgeable and had good customer service skills. The only issue we ever had was finding a rolling cart to use in the storage area. Both times this occurred the desk associates quickly brought us one. Thank-you!

when I closed my account, I mentioned that something had fallen from the ceiling (liquid & some turn crusty). That it had damaged my furniture. I was told that this was true, that management knew. I was then told that a manager would get back to me, but no one ever got back to me. I want compensation. If you knew this, why weren't we ever warned?

The outside storage parking lots are gravel not paved. There are no cameras to watch your property. There is also NO electronic gates with passcode to enter. Then there's a padlock that is used by everyone to access. This means previy owners know the password. Totally unsecured!
