Was not able to use truck. Turned it in late, after hours on same day of rental. When I drove to my location to pick up belongings the truck was having transmission problems, did not want to load and then have breakdown. Put this on my turn in information but never heard back from anyone.

Made a reservation via telephone the day prior. I wanted a cargo van and an appliance dolly. The window was covered in ice which delayed my departure and there were "NO" appliance dollies. So, I had to detour my mission to swing by Home Depot and rent an appliance dolly...which added to the mileage charge...not good. Overall my-Haul experience was was just average..

Very very expensive. When vehicle returned three hours early then we were charged $20 after hours fee when there wasn’t no staff help used. These hidden charges make the service undesirable I wish we have used some other moving truck Company.

Trailer I rented had a faceplate on the back tailgate loose. It was hanging on by a single rivit, so due to my own time constraints, I had to zip tie it on and take the trailer back earlier than I wanted.

Showed up, waited 30 min past my appointment time to speak to someone and they didn’t even have the dolly that I had requested in my reservation. I was moving across state, and rented on a one way trip so renting one at Home Depot was not an option because I’d have to return it back to that location. So I ended up spending an extra $70 UNEXPECTEDLY on my moving day to purchase a dolly. Then U-Haul charged me an extra $12 for mileage. WELL, we had to go OUT OF OUR WAY, to correct their screw up. So no I would not recommend this location or U Haul ever again.

Make sure anyone who drops off at this location get a receipt, because they tried to charge me extra money for mileage. The computer system wasnt working and they showed I returned the truck back on Sunday and the truck was returned the same day 5 hours later. The staff was not friendly

I reserved my Uhaul truck at the Brownsburg Ace Hardware in Brownsburg, IN. Then a few days before pick up I received a text saying I needed to pick my uhaul up on Lafayette Rd and 30th Street, but when I arrived there I was told they didn't have a truck for me so then I was sent to the uhaul store in Castleton. Something needs to change with Uhaul with the process of having trucks at the correct locations. Because of the delays at the facilities I was late getting the truck back to my condo which resulted in getting a late start to my destination. I'm not sure I will ever use Uhaul again.

Reservation was made directly via phone with representative two days ahead of scheduled date. Ordered truck and appliance dolly as the only thing I was moving was a refrigerator. When we arrived at location, found that they had no appliance dolly available. Seemed to be out of their control as the location did not make the reservation. No one notified me in advance and almost ruined my whole move. Other locations did not have one either. We cancelled order. However, in-store clerk said they had a heavy dolly outside that had belonged to a customer and asked if that one would work. We looked and decided it would. Therefore we were able to complete the move. However, we had to go to another store to buy straps to hold refrigerator in place - an additional $25 cost. Definitely not good customer service on the part of your representatives. They should not be committing product that the locations do not have. It all worked out but definitely left a "bad taste" about U-Haul. I do want to say that the employees at the location did their best to be helpful but felt they were at the mercy of the representatives who probably are sitting at a phone in their home without knowledge of what the locations actually have. Need to improve on that!

when I showed up for my 430 scheduled time, there were only 2 people in front of me appearing to be wrapping up. After 20 minutes of waiting, there was now a line of 6 people waiting. No employee in sight. By the time i finally got checked out, there were 8 trucks waiting to be returned and I couldn't get out of the parking lot.

Although there was a great deal of dust and spider eggs in the unit when we emptied it out, everything was dry and undamaged by mold or mildew. We hadn’t been there in several years, so we pleased.

The only problem I've ever had with U-Haul is the U-Box business. It has many problem, too many to go into here. It's not the people or phones, it's the way U-Haul has structured it. TERRIBLE!

Don’t ever use this place for UBox storage or shipping. They only have one person that handles that portion of business and it is like pulling teeth getting in contact with them to access your stuff!
