Your trucks really need to be inspected more closely or better maintained. The truck was not sanitized, luckily I brought my own sanitizing supplies and the wipe was black from dirt after cleaning the steering wheel. But the worst of it was the air-conditioning did not work!Alfred D.

ThÃ© Denver Uhaul location that took pod reservation and delivered was excellent. Once it arrived at Cathedral City, CA location it was poor service clear up to when they picked up the empty pod. I always had to drive to Ramon Rd location because nobody ever answered their phones. I had 2 pods. One was suppose to go to storage and the other delivered upon CA arrival. Both went into storage even after I drove out and told manager that I didn't want that. I changed credit card that I had in file for monthly auto payment. I had to drive out to their location to give them this info. Even after doing this, the following month I got notification that my card wouldn't process payment. When I was ready for 2nd pod to be delivered I again drove out to make arrangements. Based on the window of delivery I made arrangements to have help to unload the pod. The delivery time frame expired and no pod and no notification as to when I would receive it. After no answer, as usual at local location I called a nation wide uhaul number and was told there was confusion and that they didn't get pod pulled for delivery that day. I demanded that it be delivered. Finally 3 1/2 hours later snd my help is gone I got the pod. I told them I would somehow get it unloaded and wanted it picked up 2days later. I was having another truck bringing things and I needed my driveway free of the pod. I made arrangements for this pick up. The window of pick up expired and no pod pick up. I once again called the nation wide dispatch and was told they weren't going to be able to get it that day, but would get it Monday morning ( which was 3 days later) I got so mad that they made arrangements fir some gal to pick it up. She had her own private truck and said she hadn't ever done this before. She was asking me questions about the pod hitch. I could go on and on, but I think you get the message if why I WOULD NOT recommend using the Uhaul location on Ramon Rd in Cathedral City, CA. It is very poorly managed and they don't seem to care.Pamela S.

Stop,! The problem was not with the the Cathedral City location but with the national call center. They would not guarantee a one-way truck would be available. Because of this we had to drive from Paso Robles to Palm Springs which is over 300 miles and rent a local truck at the Cathedral City location and drive it back to pickup and return to Catedral City. It wasted hundreds of dollars in gas. U-Haul has gotten much worse in recent years. The truck in Cat City was great however but your policies should be addressed. The truck was pulling to the right and constantly having to steer it to the left to go straight. The driver door was bent so the rubber wasn't sealing abs the wind noise was horrible. This is the first time that I had equipment that was not roadworthy.DANIEL S.

All the staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. Helpful suggestion may be to allow easier view directly to the front desks without interfering objects obstructing the line of sight.Michael G.
I rent at least 10 trucks a year. This service and truck was the poorest that I have experienced in years. The counter people were abrupt. Unfriendly. The gas tank gage was incorrect. The contract read 1/4 of a no tank. The gas gage was 1/8 of a tank. The windshield was filthy of I asked an attendant to clean it. The knob on the A/C was missing or broken. The rear step to the bed of the truck was gooey and sticky. The cab was filthy. The excellertor was hard press. Miserable experience.Larry S.

The online self-check-in and return experience was not as convenient as it sounds. Having to watch instructional videos, find the truck, confirm pickup condition, and take pictures upon return in the bright hot sun was somewhat frustrating, but I did it to avoid being charged 20 $for assisted check-in.Norman H.
Truck was sent out with one quarter tank of gas. The first thing I had to do is gas up - a significant waste of my time. The U-Haul App is a piece of garbage. It took 25 minutes sitting in the U-Haul parking lot to complete the rental on my cell phone. Uploading photographs of my CDL and other photos took forever. Returning app didn't work at all. I had to go inside the facility to return the truck. If U-Haul is going to provide an app, it should work better than it does. The battery on the truck was marginal. The truck would barely start each time I tried it. Very disappointed with this rental.Barry S.

I reserved a 20 ft truck got there in plenty of time even a little early truck was not there ..people who rented the day before where not going to be on time.. ended up with a smaller truck had to make 2 trips it was a horrible experience.. was not compensated enough plus it was hotter than Hâ€¦Mary C.

I understand that the issues that occurred were no ones fault but for the obscene amount of money they charged me for a truck, I shouldn't have been over an hour late from my week prior scheduled pick-up appointment. I was sitting there waiting for a truck while there were literally 12 of the exact same trucks on lot (I counted) As a company, you assholes need to get your logistics together and stop raping your customers because your to cheap to move your trucks where they're needed. This whole idea of charging 3Ã- the amount to go to a place is ludicrous. Palm Springs- Phoenix: 530 $; Phoenix to Palm Springs: 170 $^this right here is bullshit, you're a logistics company. This is was not our original pickup location. The original reservation was supposed to be closer to us in Indio, When we went to pick the truck up the location didn't exist, the phone # wasn't answering and when we finally got a hold of the person he said he didn't have the truck and had to find one. Never called us back. So we had to arrange to find one and after calling around and dealing with you guys got the last truck available farther away to pick up. If the business you contract out for rentals aren't legit than its going to be reported to the proper authorities. This was a cat and mouse chase of trying to get a truck when it shouldn't have been this difficult. So disappointed in this process we had yesterday.martin A.

Initially, I was very upset about not getting notified that my pick up location was relocated. I had showed up early to the palm desert location, called UHaul with a 10 minute+ wait time, AND was given a location of â€œcat city location off of Ramonâ€ with no address and they transferred me before I could ask. Then had ANOTHER 15+ minute wait and I luckily showed up to the right location of the 3. What made my experience better was an employee named Max. Max was cheerful and honestly looked happy to be at work and help. He understood my situation and I was clear I wasn't looking for a handout nor did I want to file a complaint and make things difficult. Max instead gave me a quick turnaround with my rental truck (with help from Brian) and made my overall experience better by deducting 20 miles from my drive. He also provided me with extra moving blankets that ended up really helping me! Max really made the experience way better and was a huge help! He deserves an atta boy at the very least!Logan P.

Truck interior was dirty especially the windshield that had a heavy film on the inside and the washer wipers didn't work. The drivers mirror was lose and kept falling out of adjustment. I wish I could have seen breakdown of the charges before renting, the insurance was quoted at 14 $but was really 28 $.PHILLIP S.

I wish I could have rated the entire process of renting a truck because that would be a 0vstar. While cathedral city representatives were nice and very pleasant and Burt in Indio was awesome and understood how to provide excellent customer service, the process is horrendous. First off the online site is not intuitive and it reserves truck's that are not at locations. Don't you keep inventory? I was sent to 3 different places. And Fisha in Riverside Regional was VERY rude. She acted like my questions were bothering her. I'm the one that should have been irritated because by the time I spoke to her my reservation had been changed for the 3rd time. She needs customer service 101 classesHomer S.
The windows were not cleaned when I took it back to pick up the trailer I asked them again to clean the cab the dashboard and wash the windows again. They didn't do it. So I drove 1200 miles in a dirty old truckLuann M.
