The phone calls would never get answered at this location. The truck was not well maintained. The fuel service charge of 30$ should at least make the customer receive the truck with full tank of gas not less than quarter of a tank. The charge for 1/8 of a tank is doubled. It's a real rip off. I was very impressed with how swift and efficient the check in process was, kinda blown away honestly. Walked in and was sitting in the truck in less than five minutes. All within that time Jeff explained everything clearly and concisely, and still managed to squeeze in some tips on how to get better fuel mileage. The drop off process was also super smooth. We returned after hours and the mobile checkout process was easy to understand and worked flawlessly. Your selection of trailers and trucks is limited. It would greatly improve the customer's experience if they could reserve the trailer they wanted in advance, let alone actually have a full selection of equipment.Zachary R.
Decent security, but there were some problems, specifically that the a/c was broken a few times when I was there. I understand that this can happen sometimes, but for as little as I went to check on my stuff, having the a/c not working about half the time I was there wasn't a good sign. I received a trailer that had the handle broken off.... Very sharp edges were exposed.... When I brought the trailer back and brought it to their attention they told me they knew about it.. they did not seem to care that a sharp edge could cut somebody... I had to remove the trailer off my vehicle a couple times and it was very hard to do without the handle... The trailer is probably still sitting there with the handle broken off for the next customer.....5'x9' motorcycle trailer.William W.

The drop off was at Beaver Valley Mall and the genitman there was nice & very understanding. He agreed the truck was unsafe & recommendation me to notify U-Haul corporate.Leonard U.
We rented a 15' uhaul. As I followed my husband home from the uhaul rental place, I noticed that the right tail light was not working. I called the uhaul rental place we had just left. They said it was out of their hands and passed it off to the maintenance website. The website was not working well. I was on hold for 54 minutes with the phone number to get road side assistance to come to our house to fix it. I was told they would arrive in 1 hour. It took 2 hours. So our move was delayed by 2 1/2 hours due to your uhaul being rented out to us unsafe to drive. We are very disappointed. Uhaul, we always believed, used to be a trustworthy company. We were so disappointed. We should have been given a discount for our inconvenience. We made sure that your uhaul was safe to drive. We were delayed doing your job. Nothing I can think of with regard to the service location but the online system for finding, equipment, locations and reservations can be a bit confusing and unduly complicated. After a career in IT, I can get frustrated with system that are not intuitive and easy to use. This is neither of those. The location staff was top notch.Barry O.

It's kinda hard to figure out where you actually go to pick up the trucks since the location is so freakin big and has faces on like 3 different sides of the mall. A big â€œuhual pick up this wayâ€ sign when you first pull into the mall's lot would go a long way. The manager looks like he hates his life. That had no bearing on my good experience, just an observation. The girl washing he trucks outside whose name I forgot sadly was very nice and helpful. I originally reserved a Uhaul closer to my location, my reservation was moved 3 times and when I finally drove 45 mins out of my way to get the uhaul I needed the brake system was bad and I couldn't drive the uhaul. I had to get a smaller uhaul than I reserved and was still charged full price for the uhaul. I could have got a smaller uhaul at a location closer to me if that was the case. I should have just drove the uhaul and if we wrecked the damn thing just sued for a failed brake line+!Terry C.

Seems silly that you can't get to the self storage from the customer service side. Ok in summer but would be terrible in the winter. I rented a truck and a self storage unit. After packing and loading a truck all day, last thing I wanted to do was go to the customer service area because the lock wasn't in the unit as indicated as included with the rental. They quickly solved the issue then I had to go back to the unit to install the lock.Rhonda Y.

The truck had a leak in the "Mothers Attic" and some of our moving boxes and items were get (it rained a bit during our move). Staff went above and beyond to meet my needs very helpful and informative. Friendly staff and GM is great! A few downsides. No storage on the first floor, remove the awful groovy tin lined floor in the huge elevator, fix cracks in second floor, update moving equipment, could have a complimentary dolly for larger or smaller furniture/appliances. Would be nice if there was an entrance to/from storage facility leading to office. Bathrooms weren't clean. Lastly automatic payments were still charged to my card after I completed move out other than those things listed I give my overall experience an 8. I was charged twice for miles. I was told the gas had to be filled back where it was when I left with it then get told it had to be on full when I left. Then I paid cash the first time I rented was told I couldn't pay cash to extend then customer service was called and they told the worker that I could pay cash. Staff are usually friendly and very helpful, when we were purchasing boxes, etc. The 26' truck was another story entirely. At 7a First they made a contact for a truck and went to pull it around, another staff, said no put it back and get him another truck. This 2nd truck was beat up and well over 100k mi than the first. Bad exhaust leak, but I needed to get done. Took me almost 6hrs to load (working by myself) went to leave and the air brake alarm would not shut off. Called roadside and sat on hold for 30min before i gave up, i was burning daylight. the whole while the alarm was chiming away. After another mile or 2, it finally shut off. Unloaded the truck and headed back to drop it off at 630p, no alarms, but now a check engine light. Drove 35min then syopped to fuel up, the chart on the contract is off. Said 17 gal to match, put in 15 and it was still more than required. Also the truck dash does not indicate which side the gas filler is on. (Usually a little arrow in the fuel gauge) started truck, brake alarm again. Were 15min from drop off, just dealt with the annoying sound to get there. So i could meet the deadline. told the staff, got a thanks, we'll put it in for maintenance. no offer of apologies, discounts or anything. Just a "that sucks" . Glad you made it back. Meanwhile i was afraid the brakes were going to lock up unexpectedly. Glad i never plan on moving again!!!Jason H.

The facilities and staff members were always great. I would recommend them to anyone for climate controlled storage. However, I really wish u-haul would get their billing straight. The few months that we had a storage unit there it seemed like there was always some kind of issue with billing and we would have to call or come in to get it straightened out. The rules of ensuring the elevator is unlocked and shut so it is available to the next customer is something that needs enforced. More often than not it was unavailable and the personal elevator needed to be utilized to unlock the large elevator and the trip to your unit took longer than it should Of. Even after submitting my move out request a week prior to the end of my rental period I was still billed for a new month and a late fee tacked on to my total because no one bothered to confirm my move out.
