We did have an intermittent fault in the right turn signal wiring that kept popping up with a warning from my trucks monitoring system. It seemed to actually work every time it was used, but was delayed in starting to flash, so that was inconvenient but not a big problem. That needs to be fixed.

The building was under construction, being remodeled there was not enough employees to accommodate customers, more knowledgeable staff would be an important, as hard and as fast as they were working they were accommodating!!

First reservation I made was accidentally made for the wrong time. This was at the lakeside location in Sterling Heights. The lady that called me from their last minute on Saturday evening was extremely rude on the phone. She called to tell me they did not have a truck available for me at all no matter what time I needed it and I had to call somewhere else last minute on a holiday weekend. I made the reservation 3 days prior. She was rude, offered no help or possible solicit jobs and did not want to help me at all. I immediately hung up and made a reservation at the Gratiot location online. Right after that reservation was made a gentleman called me from Uhaul and checked on me to help with my reservation. He was great!! Very polite and made sure I had everything I needed for the next day. The Clinton Twp location is always very accommodating, everyone that works there is professional and polite. I'll never use the other location again and will drive out of my way to a up them

I picked up at 7am, three customers in front of me and at the time only the lady by herself.

We reserved a pickup truck for a few hours. We arrived and they gave us a horrible truck. It was badly dented, side view mirror was shattered, and it reeked of smoke. I mean it smelled so bad that it made us feel I'l. And to top it off the drivers seat was soaking wet. Our pants were soaked through. When we went it tell the person at the desk they just said ‘we'll note it.' We had to drive with windows down and sitting on coats because of the smell and wet seat. Got it back as quickly as we could and went right home and showered. And for this we pairs $80 for 90 minutes and 70 miles of use. I understand that might have been all they had to give us but at least acknowledge the situation and explain it.

The truck I was given to use was dirty inside the cab, it smelled of cigarettes and the driver seat was broken and did not move forward causing me to seat on the edge of the seat to reach the pedals.

Oh I did not have an adapter plug for the trailer I rented but one of the U-Haul employees had one and gave it to me. Was extremely grateful. Very nice employees working here

I usually give good reviews but have to say something Outside of truck was dirty bugs, mud etc. Inside was clean and smelled nice. When I went to return waited 15 to 20 minutes for someone to finally come out and take care of me. Not a fan of having to do everything myself via my SMART phone. I had to verify condition of truck , gas and mileage no personal service anymore. It has been a few years since I have rented but really don't like this new process. Thanks

The rental was great and fairly priced. I was disappointed however to have to redo paper rental forms that I had already completed online. Even though I had a reservation confirmed, I was told that I had to go into the office, wait in line, which was the reason I opted to complete the necessary forms from the comfort and safety of my own home.

The women working there could be more friendly. They were cold and gave the impression they were being bothered. She told me my truck was out the door but never came out to inspect the truck and see if it was in good order and if I had any questions. I did report gouges on the truck box through the app, but no one came out to look. I had to go in to get her, but again she seemed annoyed by my lack of knowing her process. These people need to understand that customers will have questions because they do not know the process and do not work for U-Haul.

My trailer was actually pretty dirty inside when I picked it up (too bad no one inspected that). I was also sadly asked to help ‘lift the trailer' to put it on my ball - this is something I felt the store should've handled (perhaps with a assist lift of some sort). Also I felt the store clerk was a little distracted talking to her co-worker while I was picking up my trailer (as if I wasn't even standing right in front of her-kinda rude I thought but I could tell she did this all the time). So was it a great experience? Nope.

8' Pickup Truck Rental. good experience with store, personnel, and vehicle. Air Fresheners in vehicle smelled fake and gave me a headache so I stuffed them in glovebox. This is my Go-to Location for U-Haul.

Worst people ever please do not rent from U-Haul they will fuck you they will screw you they will lie to you. Are you a truck for this Friday my truck was down until 3 o'clock so I had to find another truck I went to U-Haul on Thursday to make a reservationOr Friday morning . When I was there the girl was very nice and explained it to her what was going on with my truck that's why I'm using your truck so I need the truck for the whole day 24 hours she is quotes and says we do not do that you have to give me an estimated time estimated time is not exact time so I told her I don't know six 810 hrs. and what does she do tells me that if I'm not back by 3 o'clock I'm Charged another day which I used to own a Tesla account Call my boss this morning and said hey I had everything set up for today and come to find out you're telling me I have to come back at three when I told them I needed the truck the whole day my boss said you better get the whole job done or you're done. I immediately called U-Haul and I was on the phone and hold no bullshit for at least two hours that's calling them and then will call you back in 30 minutes to a half hour three hours later you get a phone call may hang up on you or how much to talk to him about five times and I had to repeat myself every time these girls were so disrespectful I am going to sue U-Haul due to definition of character because I told them I'm using this for Kelly Masters and Mr. Masters gets his truck prices at $.70 a mile and he hasn't rented from U-Haul in over a year he has no drivers license none of them do they will rent you a truck without a drivers license as long as it's valid they don't care so when I got my truck this morning she was such a bitch to me. She told me She's not getting off your ass and getting a truck you're gonna go get your own truck and I said excuse me that's your job every time I rent a truck from your house you guys go get itBottom line is I am suing the hell out of U-Haul first of all I give them $100 deposit that's what she said if I'm not using a credit card because I will not give my credit card to fucking U-Haul so then she asked me how many miles you're going to go I didn't know so I said to 200 miles. She charges me $335 and U-Haul thinks I am trying to steal money from them or or get something for free they have no idea what's coming to them please do not rent from U-Haul you're gonna waste your money they're gonna blame everything on you and the girls in there are bitches and when everyone else is getting a cheaper price that's against the law you can't do that and then she tried to say oh he's been renters from years now bottom line is they charge me $.90 a mile instead of 70 because I am not good looking like Kelly masters and that's where I'm gonna get them the blonde hair and the dirty blonde girl need to go they need to lose their jobs they are disrespectful and that is such bullshit how they're going to give my buddy that looks better than me because girls are fucked up because they look at your looks and they judge you and I can't wait to my lawyer sees this every person there was rude the manager was rude and she says my girls would never do that the funny thing was your girls didn't do shit they won't even go get my truck because I'm not good looking I'll see you motherfuckers in court because you destroyed my account with Tesla I could not finish the job my career is done and I will be taking you to court One more thing I beg you to stay away from this place find something else pay an extra hundred dollars do not deal with these fucking idiots it's all on video and I told the lady to pull up her video cameras and instead of me saying that I said something like can't you just read the cameras and then she's so sarcastic she was how could I read them and that's when I said this It's crazy she's being so disrespectful she goes you mean watch them right in front of everyone defamation of character either will be seeing you in court if you want to resolve this 586-260-6233 if not I will be suing you ASAP I have never been so disrespected in my life and lied to and then he told me the truck has. The check-in process on the app is a great idea, but it doesn't seem to work. Still had to pull out our license, the clerk had to take a picture of it, when we had already done that in the app beforehand. So, what's the use? To improve that would be to save time and have a smoother check-in. Otherwise, everything went great.

The reason I'm actually coming back to this facility as I was there for five years straight as a pharmaceutical rep storing my samples there is because of the wonderful and outstanding customer service. The manager there is amazing. They go above and beyond they treat their customers with the utmost professionalism and so helpful. They're great to talk to you it's just a wonderful experience all around. Great location great facility but even better just terrific people!

They were really helpful when I first moved my furniture in and still really excellent in the work that they did when I moved out they treated me with respect as well as I did with them walking into the units was always clean and I thank you for letting me have The experience and storing my furniture I had that kind of climate when it’s cold outside my furniture and everything electronics would be at room temperature when it’s hot outside it will be cool in the storage that I had and it was beautiful so It was no damage done to anything thanks a lot U-Haul and your employees.

The on-line elements are fine, but when contacting U-Haul, I found the personnel minimally helpful. Since I would not be present myself at the move-in, the case didn't fit the normal conditions and one person told me "see on-line." Later, another said, "We can't do that [i.e. secure the locker for a couple of days prior to move-in]" until I demanded it. Then she spoke with the supervisor who agreed to put a "red lock" on the unit until move-in day. Problem solved. If the employee had been better trained, it wouldn't have occurred.

I've been with U-Haul since 2017, during my move in experience , I had a dispute with the manger. But GOD worked it out. I love the convenience of the store hours and having access to my RV. I would definitely recommend U-Haul to family & friend's, thank you for your service. TWO THUMBS UP. BELINDA .

Love this uhaul. Its always clean and the people are always friendly and help in anyway possible. Ive got two storage units there and any time i need a truck i go through this uhaul facility as well.

When I reserved my unit online it said the unit was for a 1-2 bedroom home up to 1200 soft. I even called and talked to a young lady in the office that confirmed the details of the unit. The actual unit size was the size of a closet. I requested for the manager to call me and I never received a call. I screenshot the false advertisement for proof. It made the moving process 1000 times More difficult. I don't recommend reserving anything online, or calling to confirm details. You need to just go in and see the unit.

I had extreme difficulties getting in touch with customer service to get assistance with issue after issue. It's hard to call directly into this location. The first issue was my uncleaned storage unit on move in day. I had to ask for a broom and clean it myself. I also had to ask for a new animal bate box because the one in my unit was apparently not replaced due to all of the cob webs and hugh white spiders that ran from it when I tapped it with the broom. Second issue, I would recommend Uhaul not sponsoring 'Moving Helpers' on your website. I paid over $300 hiring moving helpers for my storage move who never showed up. I then hired a second moving company from Uhaul's website and again, no show. I traveled from Florida to make this move happen in order to get my things loaded in the uboxes from the storage unit and spent over $1200 for this 1 day move and these moving helpers didn't even have curteousy to call to decline or reject the job through Uhaul's portal to give me an opportunity to look for help elsewhere. Needless to say, I went back to Florida without my things. Which leads me to my last issue. On the day of my arrival at Uhaul for my move out of the storage unit and into 3 unboxes for my out-of-state move, 2 out of my uboxes had no furniture covers that were to come with the uboxes. The third ubox had damaged hardware on the box that made it impossible for me to put a lock on it due to the hardware being bent and hanging on by 1 screw. It was a terrible experience! Had my moving help shown up, I couldn't have completed my move because I didn't have access to a third ubox that I paid for due to the broken hardware. This entire experience was a big negative for me. I don't think I'd recommend this location due to the poor attention paid to the ubox when delivering it and the nastiness of the storage unit that had all of those nasty white spiders and old bait animal box, but the unit was tagged saying something along the lines of cleaned and ready for customer. However, I must say that the employees who work here were extremely helpful and respectful, at least the ones I had direct contact and I know some of these issues were beyond their control, such as the third party moving helpers. My suggestion to new customers is don't use the third party helpers on Uhaul's website because if something goes wrong, Uhaul will be quick to dismiss your concerns and complaints telling you that they have nothing to do with the moving helpers and to contact them. Lastly, I did try to contact Uhaul to resolve this issue before leaving feedback. My issues were not resolved to my satisfaction mainly because I couldn't get customer service for both Uhaul and Movinghelp.com on the line after spending hours and hours on separate days trying to get help regarding my many issues.

Each time promised a free months rent when we got a storage unit and every time I got charged for it and was almost late on the payment. It seems like a scam to get you to pay more for the late fee. There's really only one nice person in the office and the others come across rude.

First let me say that, in this survey that I'm completing, Uhaul has my move in date WRONG. I hope I'm not being billed for the 5th when I moved in on the 8th. Lastly, my customer service experience with all of the employees working at the Clinton Township location and even the employees at your Roseville location were very knowledgeable and so helpful. The staff at Clinton Township made sure I understood the services being offered and were very patient when I had questions. The only reason for a 4-star and not a 5-star is because on move in day, my storage unit was tagged as available for move in (as if it were throughly cleaned and ready to go). My storage unit was NOT cleaned. It was evident when all of the white spiders ran from the pest control bate box that showed evidence that it was very old, covered in dust & spider webs and the unit itself was dusty and has spider webs. I had to call to the front office for someone to bring me a broom. Beth was prompt in coming over to assist. I opted to clean/sweep myself and Beth drove back to the office to get me a freshly made insect/pest box. She apologized for my unit not being properly cleaned and I was thankful for that. Other than these couple of issues, my overall experience I'd say is an A+

I love this storage unit. I have been a pharmaceutical rep for over 17 years and this is the best storage facility I have ever had. Breannda is the best. She's super helpful and runs a great office! The staff is always so nice and helps me whenever I needed it! I would HIGHLY recommend this storage facility to everyone!!!!!

They quote you price for storage. Then they tell you you have to get your own lock. You buy theirs for 3x the price. You lose key,& are charged 50$ to remove lock, for 10 min work. Worst business ever

Employees are friendly and willing to help. My unit was facing the weather and my lock rusted and I couldn't open it. I went to the office and they lent me some lubricant oil. Great place and people.
