Location and service were great, but disappointed that they slipped in some extra insurance I hadn't agreed to when reserving online and didn't catch costing me another $80.

Was told return time didn't matter if rental was for 2 hours or 6 hours fees were the same. Vehicle kept dragging when trying to start. When returning the vehicle the check in attendant gave incorrect amount, stating I was charged an extra day for exceeding return time.
Major F.i really needed to get a riding mower to my home in cocoa from palm bay. i had never used a trailer for towing and was a little nervous. the man who helped me was already sweating a lot from this heat but helped show me how to hook it up and saved me some money by getting me a smaller trailer for my needs. i've seen a little chaos at this store before but this was a very good experience. all went well.

Luke S.The inside of the facility was always over the Temperature range on the thermometer on the wall . During the day the temp was unbearable to stay in for any length of time , so if I needed to move stuff there or around in there it was in evening . It did say it would be temperature controlled so I don't feel I got my moneys worth since I paid for it . For this reason I won't be recommending uhaul. And also I. The beginning we served a ground floor rental unit and that day when checked in the man said he only had one unit left and it was upstairs I'm disabled and stairs are difficult for me but he didn't seem to care .

Deon B.The staff was completely overwhelmed and without any extra help to solve problems on a Saturday morning. I was told there were 800 reservations and only 300 pieces of equipment. The computer "system" they were using could not find me a truck even though I called personally the day before and confirmed there was one available. Out of sheer luck, someone walked in with a return truck that was bigger than my reservation and they offered it to me. If that hadn't happened, I would have been completely out of luck and forced to drive over an hour to hopefully get another truck. The whole experience was completely unorganized and without direction.

On two different occasions, I have been incorrectly charged for equipment rentals during return. On both occasions, the rentals were returned before the contracted time due, and should not have had an extra day charged. Although the overages were credited back, when corporate was called, the personnel at the facility should have read the contract and not charged the fee!

I rented a van yesterday for a small moving job and as expected, everything went very smoothly and the van looked brand new. Reserving the van online was effortless and had no issues. I highly recommend using Uhaul and the Dixie Lane location for all your moving needs.
Nanette H.gentleman who hooked up my u-haul did not lock the hudrolic lock to the chain its self, and extra chain was rubbing against ground. drove for 1 000 miles and found out chains were not set right and hitch was not securely fastened to hitch of my truck. Sense that stop of my 2 000 mile journey i have correctly crossed and attached the chains to my vehicle and attached the break. I was also originally quoted $169,99 for the 6x12 trailer and spoke about driving out of state with the equipment 2 weeks a head of time and given a quote for that rental. then when i went to pick up the trailer the price negotiated went to 699,99 before insurance. I feel that communication could be better and train to be aware of how to properly take the time to affix trailers to someones vehicle.
Gregory C.This experience was a nightmare. We reserved online and hired movers through uhaul app. Turned out they didn't exist so 3 hours on phone to get a refund. Went to pick up truck and they didn't have one. The original location cancelled our reservation and reserved at a location that no longer rents uhauls.After 6 hours on phone with numerous people had to go 40 miles to get a truck. This delayed the move and once we got to destination and go to return truck find out when they did that reservation they had us returning truck some place in Canada so another 2 hours on phone to get a drop off location. I would not recommend uhaul for one way move.

Pati D.Manager told me I can do a 12 hour rental which was not true, there motive is to trick people into thinking they are renting for less time which would be a discounted amount, then they can get the trailer back before 24 hours to rent it again, but you are getting charged for 24 hours no matter when you bring it back. Then I was told if I didn't bring it back in 12 hours because that's what I asked for I would be charged more even though I paid for 24 hours. What a scam

DAVID W.The equipment was clean; however, the mileage was 70 miles different and the gas tank was missing half a tank from what was listed on the form. After bringing this to the attention of the employee, I was told that he fixed the gas in the system but the mileage would have to be corrected at the drop off location. The Manager at the drop off location told me that neither were true and it should have been taken care of at pick up.

They offered a 26 foot truck but It was way too big. What good is a reservation? The UHaul problem cost me extra mileage and lots of extra time, unnecessary, need to fix it Rockledge.

John M.There was a hand truck and bag of covers zip tied in the cargo area of the truck. It was unneeded, unwanted and forced me to rearrange my load because my couch could not fit. It took up space that I paid for...If I needed it I would have asked for it when I rented the truck. It also seemed like a money grab similar to a hotel room bar, I almost removed it but did not want to fall for the money grab.

Showed very little interest in Customer Service. Unable to connect online. Returned the next morning and was checked in very quickly and easily by Mr. Barnaby.

He was extremely helpful. He answered every question I had thoroughly and provided detailed explanations.

There were 4 people working and no one was interested in helping in any way shape or form when we were having difficulty entering the facility. They even lied and said there was no other way to access my storage unit. The person cleaning the windows actually told myself and the movers I had hired the other way to get in. The staff inside finally let us in this way and then were terrible when we tried to find the best route to exit. This is not the first time I have had issues with the staff at this site. Someone needs to evaluate the quality of their employees.

She listened to us, addressed our concern, stayed very professional and got us a solution we were happy with. In the middle of helping us she had another customer rudely and continuously interrupting and she addressed that with poise. Afterwards she gave us a full tour to ensure a successful transfer. Even though I called to reserve storage space more than a week ahead of my moving date the Rockledge/Cocoa facility was the only one with a climate controlled space of at least 10 x 10 available within 30 miles of the facility in Melbourne at the intersection of Babcock and Palm Bay road. I asked for the $89 storage space and if they had it one the first floor, since I am renting this for my mom who is moving in with me and can not go up and down stairs, because she's going through cancer treatment. I was told yes and shown a unit on the first floor. I even made a reservation for this storage unit. On the day I arrived with my mom's things I was told that the unit I was shown is not going to be $89, but approximately $160. Unfortunately we had to rent a unit on the 2nd floor, which is not good, since there's no elevator at this location.

Next from the very beginning I was offered a one way deal so that when I used the Uhual truck my first month of storage is free. After arguing & still paying the money upfront 2 weeks later I was told it was stay on my account instead of being refunded back to me. I will never tell anyone to return from here. Also if your going to offer such large units atleast have a light in the back of the unit! I only liked for one or two people to assist me at this location. One of the guys I no longer see he left & Darryl. Darryl is beyond nice & helpful! From returning the uhual unloading it as well & any time before I left. Please let him kno his hard work is never unnoticed!
