I had to pay for a extra month rental when I was moving out on the first day of the month. The reason for this was due to the manager not returning my calls or responding to emails from U-Haul corporate. So for me two things are at play here 1) these managers do what they want 2) they're hard up for money. The first vehicle wasn't as clean as the second but it wasn't trashed either it was presentable. I've use the online and apps before however the new way of pre inspection and the drop off turn in kind of through me. There was someone there to inform me about the pre inspection but I didn't notice the after hours drop off procedures until after dropping the vehicle off and got home I just happened to notice an email or text regarding this. I actually followed the steps from the last time I rented which is nearly the same except the taking of photos. Don't get me wrong my comments aren't against UHaul because I didn't read all about the process or updates as I'm sure most people don't or haven't because I along with lots of people only rent once a year or more. Overall I'm satisfied as usual with the service of UHaul especially over the phone agent Craig.Sulayman A.

The manager tried to charge me $25, if they had to clean out mud from driver floor. I told her I left no mud in truck. As a matter of fact I took time to clean & rinse the back of truck to return extra clean. When I looked at what she called mud I was insulted that she tried to swindle money from me. I rubbed my hand across the area where No mud nor dirt was & took a pic. The black floor rubber was dusty looking from getting in and out from the rain the day before. I told her I wasn't told I had to spray the floors and wiped shinny before returning. Then afterwards she changed her tone, then I get charged for 2 days, instead of the 1 day. I had to go back & forth with her on that, she's going to quote what time it was at that moment approx 20 past the pickup time, I had to remind her she had a line before she waited on me. On top of that she was professional rude with the customer prior to me waiting in line to pick up the day before. I will avoid that location by all means, the last thing you want is to encounter unnecessary confrontation after being exhausted from moving and doing my job and then threaten to do Uhaul's job.Kimberly H.

Upon renting the storage unit it was not clean the manager had to sweep it out. The unit was not convenient for access (it was located between two fences behind the management office. Also when I moved my belongings out of the unit, there is evidence of rodents having contact with it. Photos have been taken of rodent droppings and rodent hair all over my things. I would never recommend this Uhaul storage location to anyone. Furthermore people who rent storage units pay too much to have their things destroyed by rodents and infestations. Customer service representatives are very unprofessional. It seemed to be a problem because I had requested a different drop off location which was on my initial rental request. I was told, "my equipment can't be dropped off at any other location. It has to be back by 6pm. I can send a new reservation request for you but that can take up to two hours." The facility manager Rochell Baker is rude and very unprofessional. Each time I had to speak with the staff at this location was almost unbearable. They are on personal calls on their cell phones loud with long lines of customers. The units were not well maintained and my items were damaged by mold growing on my furniture. They leave returned equipment trucks and car tows blocking the path to the gate. On my move out date they refused to move a truck so my moving company could get into the facility. This cost me extra because they were on the clock as soon as they arrived. It took over 45 mins for the staff to move a truck so my movers could get to my unit. Based of my experience from move in to move out I will never use Uhaul again. I definitely expected better since I've been a customer of Uhaul for many year and have used the services in many different states and locations. Perhaps there should be some re-training exercises in customer service skill or get new staff especially the Baker. She is ruining Uhaul's reputation. The young man Josh had the worst attitude everâ€¦ I wasn't even done using the truck but I just didn't want to have to deal with his nasty attitude not one more minute!! Every time I ask him a question i felt like I was bothering him! I ask him coyly he move a truck that was blocking me from coming down the aisle my unit was on an he insisted that I had enough space so to prove me wrong he got in my uhaul truck to attempt to come down the aisle an quess what happened he crashed my uhaul into the parked uhaul an then got upset because I was recording him!! He was the worst!! But if he is subtracted from the equation everything else was good! The young lady with the long braids was like a breath of fresh air! The truck was dirty but not fity. We had to sweep it out and it could have used a wash and cleaning on the inside. Dirt has settled inside I guess from not being cleaned as it should have been. The representative was not personable at all. She had a bad attitude and rude. She did not show good customer service attitude. We didn't care for her. She could use some training in good customer service. And the trucks should be cleaned out to not allow dirt to settle and get embedded inside where it won't come out without a thorough detail cleaning.Olivia L.

My appointment to pickup of the truck was 7am. I waited 30 minutes because the manager was late. But was charge extra for returning the truck in 20 minutes late. The reason for picking up the truck early so that I would be able to finish what I needed to do. Also I received the truck empty and was told I would get credit if I bought the truck back on 1/4 of a tank. Bought truck with almost half tank and didn't receive any credit.Vickey C.

This location was great, however the van was not at my original pickup location using the U-Haul truck share 24/7 program. This added time and distance to my trip. Please figure out a way to ensure trucks are at the uhaul 24/7 locations you say they will be at the times you say they'll be there. All of he staff was very warm, friendly and very accommodating. With special emphasis placed on the Supervisor Ms. Baker, her staff, Ms. Ingrid, Ms. Candice including the Male staff members. When we got to the storage unit there was a lock on it we were unable to get the lock off after about 35 minutes of calling we had a return call back we were able to get in only to find out the storage unit was not suitable for storing my items the ceiling was falling down but we had no option at that time of night so my items were placed in the unit The very next morning I sent a message to the storage unit and received a call back but was not accommodated in anyway, I am disabled and hiring someone again to move the items out and getting another u haul is difficult, I was told that they did not even have another unit to rent to me I guess this is why they rented me a unit needing serious repairs. The unit should not have been rented it is in very very bad shape, I am very disappointed and sad that my items are sitting in that unit at this time but again it is very difficult for me to rent the truck find a new storage been have the stuff moved again I feel that U-Haul should have been more accommodating knowing that they rented me a unit in need of serious repairs. The manager was very unprofessional and would not solve problems I had with gate entrance key. This was a big problem. One the key would not work and the manager said the system was down and she could not help. She was upset because I called her about problem with gate entry. While in general I had no bad experience, before the security gate was installed it was sometimes difficult to access the storage as you would need to get a key from the office to get into the unit. Besides that, as time passed and management changed, the experience improved. The latest management team was very understanding and helpful. Unfortunately, my financial situation was disturbed and I had to surrender my unit. Thank you U-Haul for being there for me even at my worst. There were HUGE roaches in my stuff when I got my things out of storage. In total we saw 3 and I feel that this is totally unacceptable. The prices are pretty moderate to high, so I don't expect to bring home pests. I am hopeful that none escaped the boxes while we were unpacking and disappeared. Had to wait too long to get van, you all need to switch up how the online system is set up because no customer wants to wait around to be approved....I wasted way too much time up there. Everything was good until it was time to move my things ,I moved out on 4-14-20 Before my due date not 4-22-20 ,No one told me to take the lock off unit so I was still being charged ,I was told afterwards on 4-22-20 that I would be charged my regular monthly plus 25!dollars for leaving 3 items behind ,so once I came to remove my lock I discovered that there was another lock on my unit so I couldn’t not get inside ,so I couldn’t not retrieve the items that were left so I got upset and leftKarnisha W. | Expérience générale
