Ok so I went and got a moving van but had to get someone I knew with a license too drive it. Then I got refunded for extra miles. And I could've even get it. That person had too and they picked the money up and robbed me. It should be in the person name that paid or 50 /50 , both people should have too come and get it. Bullshit.

I had initially booked online from 947 Bethlehem pike, online booking was the worse experience. They didn't have my order ready when we got the place. Online service couldn't detect location. We couldn't get the car, we cancel our order, ended up calling 250 Bethlehem pike they were very helpful . Reservation was quick, we got the truck within 5 minutes. Online booking is a joke.

The clerk said it was going to be $93 not $121 also I put gas in the truck and it was well over 3/4 and it was under 3/4 when I got it so the gas charge is incorrect

This U-Haul spot is awesome. I drive for allied van lines. I drive an 18 wheeler. I can't always get my truck to my customers residence. I rent a Uhaul several times a month. This location is always clean and friendly. One of my favorite spots.

Customer service was very bad. I was totally missed informed and my online reservation was not ironed. I was not told that they change gave me a one way trip for 3days rental to a 24hour rental instead but they charged me anyway. They did not explain explain this and had me sign for by credit card payment &used that to say I agreed to the new rental agreement. I then Had to pay another big fee when I arrived at the drop-off 3days later. I wouldn't recommend them. I call to dispute but failed on death ears..

The woman in customer service apparently was too busy to answer all my questions. I wanted to reserve the truck but she already disconnected our phone call . I had to call again. I told her 4 times I needed a truck for 2 hours , my driver repeated this to her 1 time and she was still telling us the truck has to be back within 24 hours . I don't know , she didn't listened or what was wrong . Then she said she couldn't take the payment over the phone but she did it without any problem. Some more training is needed there

Thier were 2 customers and myself that waited 30 for help. The GM of the place was supposedly helping another customer outside doing what I have no idea then finally the employee that cleans the vehicles came inside to help. I was their 40 minutes. The GM if really rude and unprofessional

Absolutely nothing to improve upon. Online pick up was efficient. The vehicle was clean. Drop off was efficient and the employee greeted me and we chatted for a few minutes. Very pleasant experience. I always use this location and will again!

Uhaul representatives were very knowledgeable and friendly. The only negative was my reservation was changed both in vehicle size and time of pickup. I was only just able to stuff things in the smaller truck. I had people waiting on my original rental time and the time was changed to 2.5 hours later. Luckily I didn't hire them. When I reserve a car its there and ready on time.

Assist the customer with return - not just pick up. Do not simply sit at desk and tell the customer where to unhook and leave the cargo trailer. Ask about the experience as well.

My comments are directed more at your after hours process. I understand that it is a convenience for me, and I am trying to take that into account. That said, it was late in the day, and I had just finished a long day of moving items and putting them in storage from 4 hours away. I found the after hours return process to be cumbersome and a little burdensome, particularly when I was tired and wanted to get home. To put in the mileage and take pictures of the truck's condition (particularly when uhaul already had my credit card and contact information if I had misrepresented either) was burdensome and annoying. To have to take a picture of the truck (there were only 3 that had been returned) seemed unnecessary. Again, I appreciate the convenience, but there has to be an easier way.

None. The man who helped me both times was great and super friendly. I'm not sure what his name was but he might have been a manager? We talked about cars and such and it was great! I would recommend this U Haul to anybody!

Be available to answer the phones when there is a question w/o having to wait for 10mins. Have other options. I was not able to use the return system and was able to chat with someone in regards to it, but then there was no contact with me in regards to returning the uhaul. This store is not easily reachable for questions or concerns.

Location was not opened on time on the date as advertised. Supervisor was approximately ten minutes late. Six customers were waiting in line to pick up rentals. One employee was there approximately ten minutes before the advertised opening time but did not have keys.

I had a negative experience with Uhaul and even though I would recommend the Colmar location for the large inventory on moving trucks and trailers I still would advise to shop around in advance. The issues I encountered at Colmar location were: management was late to open the store at 9 AM, under staff, took me over one hour to be on my way, and did the pre check-in online but it was worthless. My final negative experience was that my online reservation was change by Uhaul. My pick up time was switched from 7 AM to 9AM and location was switched from Telford to Colmar.

Location opened late with numerous people waiting to pick up. Equipment wasn't ready for scheduled time, and some equipment was missing all together. Charged for gas even though brought back with more gas than we left with.

When I made a reservation for a nearby pickup and return I was switched within 10 minutes to a farther location. LOUSY SWITCH. The other location was very nice but it took me 15 minutes out of my way. Get it together UHAUL!!!!!!!

There were only two people working at this facility, my truck was missing the dolly, and the furniture pads. The manager's excuse was, "we didn't have time to check because you got here in the morning". I arrived at 10am and wasn't able to pick up my truck until about 10:30am. In addition, another woman who was at this facility had 3 trucks unavailable for her, even though she reserved them 1 month prior. In conclusion, this facility is severely understaffed.

My comments are not directed towards this location, but towards U-Haul as a whole. I had the worst experience. I made 3 reservations 1 month in advance. First trip - 9/12 - I was not informed until the night before that my preferred location was not available. Had to drive 45 mins. from my home to pickup truck. Second trip - 9/17 - there was no issues for this trip. Third trip - 9/19 - Received a call on 9/18 that there were no 20' trucks available. They were able to offer me a 17' truck with a 6x12 trailer but I would need to also pick it up at a location 45 mins. from my house. I wanted 7:00am but they could only give me 1:00pm. Drove to this location on 9/19 only to find out that there was no truck available. The previous driver did not return the truck. The person in the office got U-haul on the phone trying to find another vehicle. They were able to reserve a 26' truck (larger than I wanted so therefore would pay more money) at the location that is 2 mins. from my home. So we had to drive all the way back to where we started. We picked up the truck at this second location. Also, I had wanted a one-way but this truck was only available for roundtrip. We drove truck to our house to load and when we got home noticed antifreeze all over the passenger floor so needless to say, we could not use this truck. Went back and that this point, there were no trucks available. An entire day completely wasted. This was Saturday and U-haul had no trucks available until Monday. I guess it doesn't matter how far in advance you make a reservation, you get screwed either way. I called Home Depot when I got back home and was able to reserve a Penske truck immediately. PIcked it up Saturday night and returned it Sunday night. A much nicer truck and way better customer service. Should have went with them in the first place. Will never use U-Haul again that's for sure.

We reserved a truck for about 2 hours later, and when we got to the location, we find out that the location was changed due to them not having a one way truck. The woman was very helpful in getting us a truck that we had to bring back to the same location. It was not a problem for us and she was super accommodating.

I was charged for my first month of storage with my unit, when my UHaul truck rental was supposed to come with a free month of storage rental. I originally arrived to the Colmar Storage with a reservation, but I could not access the unit, and it was still listed as TBD. I called UHaul and was told to book a second storage reservation so that I could gain access, and that the reservations would be combined to give this unit as my free unit. The other unit was cancelled, however, the new unit was never moved to be my free monthly unit. This process took me 2 1/2 sitting outside the storage gate at UHaul in Colmar.
