Installation of the hitch took about 30 minutes. Price for the hitch and installation was very fair. Staff couldn't have been nicer! And to think that I considered installing it myself. Would definitely recommend U-Haul for installation.

Matthew TWayne & Shawn were excellent, but the computers were down and the backup wasn't working either. They tried and tried to get into my contract for 45min. I contacted the district manager and they were able to get me on my way. I think all of your stores should keep some of the old three part/carbon contracts you used to use years ago for just these situations where technology fails. We got the furniture to my daughter just fine, though later than ideal. Again, personel were all excellent, including Tyler at drop-off in Rhode Island, I just think you should have the paper contract option available as a fall back.

JASON MMake sure that the customer gets all of the extra add-ons that they pay for. I paid for two bags of furniture pads, but never got them. I figured they'd be in the truck, but maybe I needed to grab them in the way out when I picked the truck up. Better clarity on how that works would make the experience just that much better
Mitch BSet it up to do everything over the app. Smooth sailing until I unlocked the lock box. No keys in the lock box. I went inside and the guys were helpful and got my keys. If it was after hours though, I would have been screwed. The only issue I have with this specific location is the lack of customer parking, as well as room for trucks that are dropped off. The lot isn't big enough and the truck drop-off is in the worst place. 2 trucks were left where they were supposed to be left, and it nearly blocks the entrance. Should reconfigure that lot.

Willam NOverall for my first time rental the process was very easy, speedy and well done. During the process in store, I would say customer service could be worked on some. The employee handling the initial paperwork and payment seemed a bit rough around the edges, however the employee hooking up the equipment and ultimately there for the return as well felt more approachable and friendlier. Overall though it was a decent experience.
Dexter BI dealt with Mike Addy at the sales counter and John was the hitch installer. Both were friendly and professional. My appointment and payment was made online. Installation date was February 16th 2024 at 7 a.m. Upon arrival I was advised that there was also a removal fee involved. This was not a part of the online processing which I had already completed. Felt like a "hidden fee" that should've been disclosed during the online appointment. The employees were great but this "hidden fee" will prevent me from recommending u haul to others unless I make them aware of it first
Jeffrey VMade reservation in advance for truck to be picked up at Fuller Rd location and be dropped of at colonie location and I also wanted the storage 5/10 that was included in my reservation. Since I had to find last min source to put my storage belongings after my move I needed a few extra hours and to think with all the inconvenience that I could get some sorta discount for the extra hours. No one has gotten back to me. So guess next move I will not be choosing U-Haul

Chelsea WI was quoted a price for my trailer hitch install by your main hub people. But then I definitely just paid more….. the technician came out of the back to show me how he wanted to wire it and told me that it would be easier if we on did a 12 V plug in the back of my van instead of wiring it all the way to the front.. he did not give me any other choices, and he really didn't want to do it the "" the hard way. So he lightly pressured me into doing the 12 V and removing it…. So now I paid extra for a job that made it easier for him. Highly disappointed.

I had to have a refund and i was charged for a vehicle and miliage that 13 miles from my house 4 times back and forth to your facility i was charged. Extremely disappointed and still charged $108 for the vehicle. Next time stop advertising one thing and the next day its another story. They never had told me anything.

Although i like to recognize the branch manager Nicholas Diotte but to remind him that not only due covid19 but and blue code weather condition in NYS eviction are prohibited. Yes, landlords taking advantage after federal rental aid was distributed and still evict tenants but unfortunately i do not meet that category because never have been late and statement that they don't want me see at that location classify as discrimination and insult my sensitive personality, and action as blockage of my formerly rented unit what prevented to enter unit #1317 till yesterday, 2/19/2022, is classified as retaliation. Yes, i can't file small court claim while i was "tenant" but now i have green light for that including local PD twisting my both wrists. Otherwise, i am pleased as much not please apparently the others. Have a wonderful president day celebration and make sure rental equipment will be clean for the farther renters because that location has 2 new employees who do not much and these are women what would be unacceptable to see toilet filthy and flooring too. Good night for now, dear location 2043-45 Central Avenue, Colonie, NY 12205. I am glad that credit administration in Phoenix, AZ received my payment in full for the equipment and my financial advisor confirmed that too as well as Michael Kimmer??? Quite didn't comprehend last name.

The gate remote I was given was broken and no longer opened the gate. To access my unit after the office closed was not an option because I now needed a code. I eventually got a code and was able to access my unit at my convenience. Whenever I was in the store to rent a truck etc. the staff was always nice and friendly. My only other issue was online payment. For some reason my balance did not show up until the day it was due and after. I paid my first payment late because of that. The store manager was nice enough to waive the late fees and help me. Aside from not wanting to pay $130/month for my unit anymore, my stay was nice enough. I felt my things were safe and secure.
