They forgot to give me my dolly which made the whole move a lot harder for me and my fiancée and when I asked for a refund for that inconvenience I was only given the $7 for the dolly even though the whole move was made much more difficult because of it.

If I can't get your attention long enough to complete my transaction, then why would I want to hand you my business?

Ronald WestThe 800-customer service people should recommend calling the desired pickup location directly. I was not told I could reserve level 2 to be guaranteed the pick up location of my choice. As a result my reservation for truck and trailer were separated into 2 reservations ultimately making the price higher, and I had to go a much further distance to pick up my truck and tow dolly. The rep at the location was very nice and accommodating and was able to get the price adjusted for me to reflect the original reservation rate.

Once inside that person was first and I waited my turn when again the person that was with her started making comments to me and she started lying about me to the counter person (CJ S.) So, I began to defend myself and employee CJ S. began to yell at me and tell me to shut up. Another lady came to help the line and she took over the problem people, so CJ S. called me up and then said we have to make a report on both your files so go ahead and tell me what happened as I began to he yells out I don't want to hear about this I'm like you asked?!? we moved on to my rental and he began asking me to repeat the information I had already entered on the website I spoke quietly, and he would repeat what I said back to me loudly. I said can you speak quieter as I don't want those angry people to know my phone number and address that I was afraid of them, and he YELLED "you're afraid of a lady with a service dog!" I am like why are you yelling at me and yes, I am they were awful for no reason in the parking lot and apparently this service dog trick isn't working because clearly, she is NOT calm! I began crying now because this whole ordeal was more than I could take, and I said never mind I don't want this rental I will figure something else out. The other lady came over and dismissed him from my rental and she handled my matter. She came outside with me, and I found out she was the manager. She was a pleasant lady to talk with. CJ S. had stated 3 times while I was in there that we have to ask these questions because "remember that hospital shooting that happened well this is where the guy rented the U-Haul" Well all I have to say to that is I was trying to tell them that this woman and man were acting unstable as they were angry and verbally attacking me without cause cussing and name calling all in front of my 7 yr old granddaughter. CJ S. should be fired, and your employees should be listening to people trying to tell them things! And I should have never been yelled at by an employee nor should my personal information be yelled/shared with other customers! Especially ones that were being crazy towards me! Terrible experience all together. I have never had troubles with U-Haul before this and normally would recommend them However I would not ever recommend THIS Concord, NH location if that employee is still allowed to work there after what he did to me!

Librado MartinezRight now I'm disputing my final bill. When I got the truck it showed 215 on the gas which is halfway. I called the office and was told to fill it halfway because that's what I was given. Also, the salesperson knew where I was going Concord to Goffstown, Goffstown to Sagamore Beach and then to drop it off in Wareham. I asked for extra mileage. Now, I'm being charged $82,18 extra for mileage and gas. I'm NOT made of money and I'm disputing this.

But when there was a problem with my reservation (I was being charged a 'one-way' rate because U-Haul changed my pickup location (from another site 3 miles away), the Manager gave me crap about a on-line box I checked that authorized them to do that. I was told I should have spoken to someone earlier (which I did, but they did not tell me the rate change, just the location change). It was a very poor 'corporate' response with no sense of responsibility, accountability, or empathy. In the end, it was a relatively cost-neutral change, but her management of the issue was extremely poor. And she did all of this over a speakerphone while standing outside of the building I was in working with another customer issue.

I also only needed the truck for a day and I was charged for two days.

That being said, Uhaul's (the corporation, not its employees!!) policy of first come, first served even with a reservation was shocking and honestly made for a horrifying moving-in experience. I came thinking I would have a drive up outside unit, and ended up having to tetris my belongings inside a 4x8 1st floor unit and a 2nd floor 6x7 unit. Again, the employees of this location are great. The corporate policy of Uhaul of 'first come, first serve' even with a reservation will ensure I never use this Uhaul services ever again. It is a really terrible policy, I hope that will be reversed. Thank you again to the great employees of this location.

When i got to your facility, there wasn't one available. I don't know what reservation system issue there is between the site & national, but that, for us, meant we had to find a 10 x 10 somewhere else, then move everything out of the tiny space you had avail... and only had inside access too. Aside from that, we were charged $20 late fee, because we weren't notified by phone or text that we were going to be past due... and ended up getting a US Mail letter, that was sent to our old address, forwarded to our new address... AFTER the $20 was already paid. I was told by national that they couldn't credit it, and that an email would be sent to the site manager. I still haven't heard from anyone about crediting that $20. I arrived yesterday to clean out the unit, after already having paid the month & late fee, and found a second lock on the unit, which I had to go inside & deal with. I'll be unlikely to use UHaul again for storage.
