Great Staff & GM!
Jose was very helpful and understanding. The manager ( a very nice lady and I’m sorry I can’t remember her name ) was also extremely nice and understanding. I thank both of them so much for helping me. They are both an extreme asset to your company
The Manager of the facilities is Andrea. She is the most amazing person. There was never a problem that she could not solve. She was great! The crew was great also. We will continue to use their services for our business.
Only problem is getting in the gate where the storage is is a little tight.....

They were very nice and helpful.
Navigating the lanes between storage units and parking is an issue when pulling a trailer or unloading more than one vehicle. Staff was very friendly and didn’t keep me waiting longer than necessary to complete rental.
I would not recommend getting the moving help from UHaul. UHaul delayed our movers at the last minute so that they could move one of their marketing managers delaying the start of our move to better accommodate their employees.
Great enjoyably friendly people at this location in Conroe. I would definitely rent from them again
Trailer was dropped after hours...but was reported early the following morning.
The employee was birching and screaming about another customer in front of customers in the store. The situation was addressed but it didn't phase her.
Pick up through the website was more difficult than necessary. Would have preferred to just have someone help.
UHaul is excellent! I’m impressed with how they have constantly evolved into a very modern and successful company over the years! Thank God for UHaul. I have hired moving companies in the last couple of years! They are a rip-off every time. Having a company like UHaul as an option is a great thing! The manager at this location is A+, I will always be a customer! Thank you!

Get an assistant manager that knows what they are doing so I don't have to do it for him again

When dropping off the guy inside was rude and condescending...
Upon arriving to return the 15' truck, we pulled right in after they were processing a return for a previous customer. We waited in the vehicle (as instructed) for approximately 10 minutes before a representative came out to process the return. Within 2 minutes of processing the return, the representative arguably stated that we owed $7.00 for gas because the tank was not filled exactly to the level it was when we picked up the truck. We knew this was not true because prior to returning to the truck, we stopped at a service station around the corner and added more gas to ensure that it was returned at 3/4 a tank. After my husband went inside and spoke with a representative at the counter, he apologized and did not agree there should have been an additional charge, but said he could not reverse the charge since it had already been charged to the credit card!! What a mess over $7.00!!
Extremely understaffed. Had to wait over 30 minutes to pick up the trailer that we had reserved. Employee and I say employee because there was just one that could check out a trailer at the time I showed up 12:30 PM.on a friday. was doing everything she could to keep up. She had two propane customers who had also waited over 20 minutes. This is not a complaint. This is just an opportunity to better the experience for your customers. Great location just needs additional staff...

Gas spill in my 113 storage. No cart available until I drove back up to the office. Was offered 129 only to get out there to see there was no way to get to it because of so many crates in the way. Etc
Andrea was very professional and knowledgeable.
Staff & crew at this location were extremely polite and courteous (well above average). Apparently, there was miscommunication in reservation process, as I expected to drop off the truck at another Conroe storage location when finished. But when I picked up the truck, I was told that this was not possible, and I was required to return the truck to the original location - somewhat inconvenient. Also, I had reserved an appliance dolly, but it was not in truck when I opened the door at the moving location - again, somewhat inconvenient. Lastly, the truck had over 115,00 miles - extremely well used. The front end was very loose, and a less experienced driver could have been at significantly increased risk on the roadway. Repairs should be made immediately. Again, kudos to the folks at the U-Haul office for being courteous and professional.
No one wears masks
Even though I wouldn’t keep my stuff here again, the customer service was always great. Specially, Albert was a lot of help and very friendly.

The truck was clean, but the blower motor didn't work. So no heat or ac until moving with the vent open. Made for some cold driving in the AM until I got on the highway. Truck also leaked oil on my brand new driveway. Now I get to power wash those spots.
Nothing to improve. The employees provided outstanding customer service and the facility is clean and conveniently located. We'll definitely be back for future moving needs.
Make paperwork easier to do online so maybe speed up the process. I went online and filled out even the payment but still had to do it again inside.

Great service in and out going and coming with no issues
The cargo van was confirmed the day prior by the rental company in a call made to me by their representative. On the day of the rental, the service rep could not locate my confirmed reservation and just by luck I was able to get six pads (had reserved 10) and a hand truck (last one available). The cargo van ran well, but only got 9 miles to the gallon. Since the van had 88XX miles, it was an almost brand new van getting horrible mileage. Upon returning the van, the pads and the hand truck, the employee checking in my rental could not provide me a close out receipt and suggested I go to the office to verify the return and be provided a close out receipt. Inside the office the employee could not locate my contract and made me wait 15-20 minutes until it could be sorted out. I finally got my close out receipt, but it was exhausting to be put through this delay after loading and unloading the van during the day. On the bright side every employee was respectful and nice, but it was just too much confusion at the end.

I used a dealer that I was familiar with to reserve the truck and wanted to return it there. When picking the truck up, that location was not listed and the worker couldn't locate it in the computer system. Said she would leave it open to my choice but the email sent to me had a site that I didn't want to use. I returned it where I wanted and they handled it.

update the payment system. My card required the numbers to be keyed in manually. Bank flagged the transaction as possible fraudulent and therefore denied. I had to go through 3 cards before a transaction would be accepted.
Check back to make sure there isn't a word lock on truck.
The truck I rented was apparently used to transport wet dogs in the cab. The truck needed to be vacuumed and sprayed with Lysol before renting again.
couldnt ask for more. equipment was ready. back on the road 10 minutes after i walked in. took even less time to return. better than expected
The only this is that we are still being charge the same price from the beginning but it was less because we use less miles
My review should have been a 5 star rating, the man who helped me was super nice and the U-Haul worked perfectly. Only problem was being flagged by my phone number having to call a 1800 number to be told when I was 17 I helped someone I've never heard of get a U-Haul and they wrote a hot check. U-Haul needs a better way of checks and balances! This wasted a whole hour of my moving day to be accused of the impossible! The accusations were from 2008 I was a senior in high school and had never rented and could not rent a U-Haul in 2008! Being told to call a number because I might owe y'all is not a good first impression for a first time renter! It automatically made me upset! Linking people by phone number is not a good system this day in age! Do better!

ANDREA AND JASON WERE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE...WE NEED THAT TODAY..WE ARE TRUCKERS AND TRAVEL ACROSS COUNTRY AND PEOPLE ARE NOT NICE ANYMORE...THESE TWO WERE VERY REFRESHING....
I had done check in on line and pre paid and had issues confirming I had paid and the rate I had. It was cleared up and all was good. But then went to get trailer hooked up and attended was going to drive off but when I started to walk back to office he hooked it up. All these issues may have been that is was Christmas Eve and everybody wanted to go home. Still I have usually had excellent service here just an off day I assume.
Sadly, the ONLY complaint that I have is the "Truck" didn't have "Cruse Control"... otherwise, it "Rode" and "Ran" extremely well.
The Ladies were rude and not helpful with my time. But, the guys, outside were.
Showed up at 9:30am to pick up my reservation. First thing I noticed was the mirror was broken. The key did not fit right and couldn't get the van to start. Went to hookup the car trailer and had to wait to have it repaired. Next the fender was all bent up and I couldn't get out of my vehicle after I loaded it. Finally got the trailer swapped for a car dolly and again had to wait for it to be repaired. I didn't leave until 12:30pm 3 hours after I showed up for a reservation. I get on the highway and cannot go over 45 mph cause the suspension was so bad it was swaying me all over the road and fish tailing my truck behind me. All of this putting me hours behind causing me to return the van late which you charged me a second day for. Customer service was polite and the van was clean which is the only good thing I can say.

Trailer was not swept clean. We had to clean insides before loading. Running lights out and 1 brake light out on trailer. Obviously not inspected before releasing to me. I reported these to the receiving location.

U Haul Storage has performed very well with the recovery of the trailer and storing the damaged contents of the trailer after an accident which totaled my truck and left me with head injuries. The insurance I purchased at the time of the trailer rental has not been acceptable. After two months, I have not received any settlement for the contents of the trailer as specified in the contract which included $5,000 in content coverage. I have moved the contents two times to storage units personally and was informed that the automotive insurance, not the insurance purchased with U-Haul, should cover the contents of the trailer. What good is this insurance if it will ultimately be passed back to my auto insurance? Not Happy With Insurance.

My unit was clean when I rented it and the door provided good security. Staff was more that helpful and ensured that my stay was pleasant. I would definitely rent from them again.
This UHaul location has always gone above and beyond Superb Customer Service, and especially during this Covid-19 Pandemic. The Manager is just a positive light in such a difficult year! She and all the employees deserve bonuses for standing strong with smiles on their faces always ready to help! Thank y’all from the bottom of my heart for all the kindness and hard long hours y’all work which helped me make it thru such a horrific year. Thru it all, this UHaul staff was so patient, kind, and just helped me in every way possible. Kind words and helping hands go a long way when the world feels like it is upside down. The storage is old and run down. We stored our items there for 14 months and found a dead rat in our storage when clearing it out.
Will continue business with u-haul
See previous review. Was charged a whole month when told by Aaron at front desk that I was paid thru 9/12 on the 10th. Not very professional or customer service oriented when a multi million dollar company will just be ok with telling customer it is what it is. Will not recommend nor ever use uhaul again. How hard would it have been to pro rate one day and refund remaining 29 days?

I was quoted one price, but now I'm paying more. They changed my storage twice because other people's things were in them. Very hard to get in touch with.
Overall, the storage unit served its purpose. There was a unit 2 down from mine that appeared to have been recently vandalized, and when attempting to call the office to inform them, I was just on hold for an absurd amount of time. None of that really was an issue for me, except for the terrible customer service. The staff was not very friendly and acted as if I was just a burden on them. I actually needed to downsize anyway and chose to relocate to another storage company based on their customer service alone. Thank you.

The young lady that waited on me was most helpful, knew her product well, and went out of her way on a very hot afternoon to show me the storage product that I asked about. The manager also helped with my bill since I am military. Both the manager and the clerk were profession and nice. I really did appreciate their attitude of helpfulness and courtesy.
Andrea and Carrie are friendly, professional and I will definitely recommend this store to anyone!
The only thing that was a pain were the trucks blocking the entrance gate to get in at morning times

All staff seemed rushed and confused. Every issue I brought up, there was never a customer friendly solution offered. U haul is overpriced and there policies makes customer experience poor at best.

I used U-boxes to move and store my household goods. The facility was clean, people helpful and the move and storage easy and worry free. I would definitely use this facility again.
Every Uhaul servicing center should implement the customer service excellence in place st this center.
Of the better UHaul facilities I have worked with across the country.
They did not increase the rate within the first year. However, there should be a button to push, so that office staff will know to open the gate.
My experience is divided to 2 parts. 1.very unhappy and wonder how come I haven't been in the system for almost a month, found out that my lock has been removed and my $3400 welder is gone.

The facility was easy to get into but always appeared dirty. Needs some upgrading. We left for a cheaper facility that is in better shape and alarmed.
Andrea Harbour was awesome. Any problems that arise she fixed quickly. Very polite. No complaints other than I can't get a clone of her and take her home lol.
They were the best. So friendly and strive to make sure that you are taken care of and happy.
I am very impressed with Ms. Andrea at the Conroe, TX UHaul. Her and her staff have gone out of their way to accommodate me and my canine partner Quincy on our 1100 mile journey to Texas.

Great experience with the professional staff at the Conroe location. I was able to get a van and a storage space and get on my way in about 10 minutes. Best experience I’ve had at any U-Haul ever!

The only place to rent
Garrett was unprofessional EVERY visit! Couldnt get my clicker to work for 3×3, ALWAYS put my access issue aside to help other customers causing a 45 min or more wait. I had to finally get GM involved
David is FANTASTIC, and runs a great store. His employees are hard working and friendly as well.

I was helping a Friend by paying for the first three months of a storage building with a credit card, my name got put on the account and when she did not pay for her storage building I was harassed

The front desk Never has more than one person. They are not helpful at all. Your average wait time to speak to a rude person is about 20 minutes.
Uhaul employees did a great job on both ends of my move. I would definitely use Uhaul again should the need arise.
