We were recommended a lock for the U Haul truck we rented and the lock did NOT fit the truck. Our local dealer indicated we would be hearing from someone regarding this. Also, the windshield wipers were not performing at all. It created an unsafe experience for me during some wet snowfall.

The alarm system didnt work properly. I had a guy come out yell at me about swiping my card which I did and then came and got my card and never returned. Also waited 25 minutes twice for help.

Staff sold the product incorrectly. I got a u-box and they did not specify the difference between the u-box rental and trailer rental. Because of the way they sold/described the product I scheduled incorrectly and got over charged. I got charged $40-$80 more because of the way they explained it to me, my wife, and my father. All three of us understood it the same, which means they sold the product incorrectly. When I spoke with the general manager he was not understanding or willing to work. You would think the GM would make it right since their employees are speaking for them. Probably won’t go back to this location, which is disappointing. Should have gotten some money back. Would like to speak with corporate.

The people working here did not konw what they were doing and gave us the wrong contract which in turn made us keep the truck over night and not be able to potentially return it. This then had us calling customer, where the manager did absolutely nothing but say it was my fault for not reading the fine print. This location also told us the total was around $121 when in reality we were charged $177. Overall, this experience was terrible and I would never use Uhaul again.

Forced me to upgrade to a 26foot. The truck wouldn’t fit so we couldn’t park next to the door. This probably added 3 hours to my move. We had to park in the back of the parking lot because it was so big and walk everything across. Pretty shitty service if you ask me. I said no I don’t want the 26 foot and they said that’s my only option too bad.

Overall great experience, guys were quick and had the U-Haul ready for us. Drop off the Internet was down(not their fault) so drop off we couldn’t get a receipt but received email receipt and it was spot on! Great job!

The computer system was down and caused a lot of extra work for the employees at this location and maybe other locations if it were business wide. However, despite this major inconvenience the employees did great at making sure everything was taken care of to the best of their abilities. If you can navigate your smart phone or even have a smart phone, I would highly recommend this way of doing things anyways. Thanks U-Haul of Coon Rapids, MN!

Check in and check out was professional and courteous. I jumped in the van and drove off, gas gauge needle close to full. When I returned the van, I put in 8.625 gallons. I only drove it 50 miles--that comes out to 5.8 miles/gallon. Didn't think the gas mileage in a cargo van was that lousy. Perhaps the gas tank wasn't full when I departed?

I showed up to drop off after hours (24/7) drop off. couldn't connect to your Wi FI? you charged me extra for being late...even though I have a picture, time stamped to show I was ontime? I've spoken to customer service while I was at the site, and replied back via email...not getting any response...poor customer service too, was on hold for ever (20mins)

The gentleman, who's name tag stated he was the owner, was rude. If I asked a questions, he was annoyed. When we were outside walking around the truck, another customer commented that the guy helping me had been a "dick", so it was not just my perception of the encounter. The other gentlemen working there sounded much friendlier. I had called the Anoka UHaul company and that gentlemen was OVER the TOP helpful. I believe it was called Ken's Repair. I would direct anyone in the area to avoid the Coon Rapids distributor and utilize Anoka's.

We had done express check-in online Friday night. My husband stood in line for 45 minutes waiting to be helped. One person at the desk on Saturday morning? Why not have a separate line for people who have signed up for express? And certainly have more than one person checking everyone in.

Made a reservation on 8-15, paid that day, only to be called by a very rude man two days before my move. He stated there was no truck available at Chaska, that I had to go to Crystal 3 hours past my original time for a truck! I go to Crystal and guess what? No truck so they sent me to Coin Rapids. Five hours after my original pick up time and 30 miles further. Did Uhaul offer me a gas discount for their errors? Of course not. You have lost my business

Ordered two furniture dollies only to be told they didn’t have any. Had to get a refund then almost left without any dollies but then saw the dollies you can purchase to own which the employees didn’t even mention. Also was told to call if returning the truck after store close and when I did call it took about 20 minutes to get through then the employee on the phone just gave me instructions to do exactly what I figured I would do. Thankful for the available truck but felt like a lot of wasted time with inexperienced workers.

Employee with name Bruce was not friendly at all. Responded on a bad mood when I asked if they had bigger trucks available for me instead of the one I had reserved. Also I needed a furniture dolly and he was not able and not willing to help. Instead I went to another employee and he was able to find one for me, and even offered I could buy one at the store which was less expensive.

I rented the truck for one day and returned it after one day but was charged another $40 for an "extra" day due to the staff at the drop off location taking an hour and a half to get around to processing the return. This is absolutely unacceptable and I will not be using Uhaul again.

I would never rent from UHaul again. A 5x10 unit costs $110 per month with the required insurance! Plus 1 month in fees cost me $80. Just crazy! Now paying $40 for similar unit at locally owned place
