My vehicle wasn't necessarily clean . It's hard to gauge what clean is supposed to look like for this kind of vehicle because it's used so much for different reasons. It wasn't used car clean . There was a lot of dirt in the vehicle and it smelled like someone smoked in it at one point. The tires were very worn and needed to be replaced. There was almost no tread remaining on 3 of the 4 tires . The day I happened to use the vehicle it was wet and rainy outside which isn't a good condition for tires with a lot of wear. It becomes a safety concern of proper handling and stopping . I could tell the vehicle was maintained mechanically with a recent oil change sticker and no lights on the dash and the features working appropriately. I also wanted to shout out Rooke who checked me in . He was nice and made the check in easy ! The man who came out to check the vehicle back in was also nice I didn't get his name . He pointed out I left some headphones on the seat of the van before I got out . If he didn't point them out I could have left them . Over all good experience !

We took several pictures of the entire truck including the fuel gauge location and in our opinion the gauge neddle was left where we found it. I feel we should be refunded the 3 gallon charge to my card. I also disagree with your policy of having to rent the dolly or hand truck just because you rent the larger truck. You know people will need this tool to move heavy material or appliances so you use this oppurtunity to make more money off the customer including adding more cost because we rented the truck for more than 2 days.

The only real negatives were small: 1) no lighting inside the unit; and 2) our unit was dusty and filled with spider webs and eggs, so not completely cleaned out before we opened the unit. Also, our unit is against the outside wall and there is a 2-inch deep and 5-inch wide depression built in to the concrete floor along the outside wall that is impossible to sweep. We will take a battery powered shop vac next time we go. We do highly recommend U-Haul Moving & Storage of Cumming.

That gives them the opportunity to collect 2 rent amounts from 2 different renters for the same space. It would be very good business to pro-rate so the renter could move when the timing works for them. I will probably look elsewhere the next time. The Management for this Cumming Office were very nice, but their hands were tied by Corporate. Also, keep in mind if you reserve a space or vehicle in an office the Corporate computer order system can negate your reservation.

The 2-weeks prior to physically visiting his location, I had tried to call (6x) and get info about a 10x10 Climate Controlled Unit. He did a little research and got me into a 10x10 CCU...in 5 minutes. Now THAT is customer service!! De'Mon is friendly, professional, knowledgeable & accommodating...all with a sense of humor. The following note DOES NOT apply to/concern De'Mon: My only issue is that, 8 out of 10 times, I can't reach a CSR at the location.

The first time they tried claiming that I drove over 100 miles and loaded a full large truck came back and unloaded it into the unit within an hour and a half. This was obviously false and corporate fixed the issue. This time I submitted online that I was ready to move out cleaned out the unit and submitted all necessary info including photos and the manager was not approving the move out. I almost got charged for another month because he wasn't doing his job and processing move out requests. I had to call corporate to get it done so I wasn't charged again. Again corporate is awesome, but this location has literally tried to drain me of hundreds of dollars due to ineptitude or malice with a bad attitude in the process. Whatever reason, this location just needs better management and live up to the level of service U-Haul corporate provides. I shouldn't have to go to corporate to work out the issues every time. I think this location just hopes people won't go or won't know to call corporate and will pay the money and let themselves be taken advantage of.
