Our truck pick up was moved to another location on Sunday, and although we were informed via text and phone call with about 24 hrs notice, that location was further away from our move, less convenient, and increased both our travel time and mileage. Due to this unexpected change we spent more $ than we were quoted online. Very disappointing. At pick up, the customer agent was not very pleasant at all. She didn't greet us and provided only the minimal information required. We desperately needed the truck on the date arranged online, but this time, UHaul left lots of room for improvement.

Unfortunately, Eli ruined my experience. The gentleman that got me the rental. Awesome. I got to drop the truck off Eli the young lady if that's even her real name I'd be embarrassed to say my name after the way my attitude was. I got to check the truck and she told me don't worry about it. It's all set. I asked her how many mileage I drove to find out what I owe what the charge will be. She rolled her eyes as she walked out the door with an attitude and snatched the keys off the counter. Sat in the truck doing her thing for a few minutes. No communication at all walked by me three or four times. I finally caught up to her inside, she prints out a receipt, walks out the door with an attitude doesn't say a word to mean, hand me the piece of paper . I say thank you her her name and mumbled it under her breath. I told her I hope her day gets better and she drove off in her golf cart with an attitude. If you don't like your job, maybe don't work there. I understand if you have a bad day, but don't treat your customers like shit , I will never go back rude rude rude!

I would not recommend Uhaul to anyone. I had that truck for 2 1/2 hours and it cost me $83. Ridiculous!!

De'Mon is amazing. He knows why but he helped us on a day where we were stressed and overwhelmed. We expected our experience to be the same at the storage facility. We were wrong. When we arrived we were greeted immediately. When we made it inside De'Mon was helpful, precise, professional, knowledgeable and even compassionate. Acknowledged our daughter which made her happy. Gave us a bit of hope that maybe the day wasn't ruined with how badly our move went. We understand why he's the GM there. Should be for a whole region. Should be senior management.

Only gave negative reviews to get U-Hauls attention. When I called to schedule a drop-off I was originally sent to a Chevron at 3715 Browns bridge road in Cumming GA. They were very friendly but warned me they had not been a U-Haul location for months, and several people had dropped things off there (per instruction) only to get charged. To be fair, the gas station does still have a key drop-off box and ample signage on the outside. I was redirected to another location at 3060 Keith Bridge Rd in Cumming and they were efficient and fantastic. Don't get fined by U-haul for their mistake!

Although when I reserved the trailer online, I denied the $40 charge for damage protection, when my husband went to pick the vehicle up, they automatically charged him for it. They took advantage of the fact that he did not notice the extra charge as he had not made the reservation. Very disappointed by what I believe to be dishonest behavior.

I originally made a reservation for a 10ft truck at Byrd Storage in Dawsonville, GA which is located 3 miles from my home. The residence I was moving to was only 5 miles from my home. However I was shuffled around for couple of weeks and wound up having to drive 20+ miles round trip to the facility where I picked up the truck. The inconvenience wound up costing me over $20 in mileage fees over and above what I would have had to pay. Because of the costs and inconvenience (not to mention the stress) I cannot recommend U-Haul and will not use it again.

Correct the fake advertising $19,95 for a van that turned in $96,3 for five hours and 50 miles used, which I'm sure is a typical use for a day. I will do my best to never use your serves again and will tell everyone I know to stay away from UHaul!

We had our storage unit for about 8 years and never had an issue. The only reason we are closing it out is we don't live close to the Keith Bridge UHaul Storage anymore and want to move our storage closer to home. The staff that works there is super friendly and I can't complain about anything. Thank you for the service you provide.

Originally scheduled to drop off at another location. I arrived at that location and was told they couldn't help me. I could "leave the trailer but they would not put a lock on it as they were under new management" So I had to call U-Haul and get them to change the drop off location to Keith Bridge Rd. They were amazing and extremely helpful.

When I got to the location I realized I reserved the wrong size trailer. The gentleman at the desk quickly helped me switch to the right size and then showed it to me and helped hook it up.

I spoke with the young man TWICE stating I'd be RENTING a truck and does U-Haul have Everything needed for pulling trailer he said yes UNTIL I GIT THERE then says I needed some hitch thing and I had to pay $30 bucks for it!!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED

Clean the inside of the windshield. 3 for 3 on dirty windshields on the inside. One rental appeared to have a soda beverage sprayed on the inside.

My vehicle wasn't necessarily clean . It's hard to gauge what clean is supposed to look like for this kind of vehicle because it's used so much for different reasons. It wasn't used car clean . There was a lot of dirt in the vehicle and it smelled like someone smoked in it at one point. The tires were very worn and needed to be replaced. There was almost no tread remaining on 3 of the 4 tires . The day I happened to use the vehicle it was wet and rainy outside which isn't a good condition for tires with a lot of wear. It becomes a safety concern of proper handling and stopping . I could tell the vehicle was maintained mechanically with a recent oil change sticker and no lights on the dash and the features working appropriately. I also wanted to shout out Rooke who checked me in . He was nice and made the check in easy ! The man who came out to check the vehicle back in was also nice I didn't get his name . He pointed out I left some headphones on the seat of the van before I got out . If he didn't point them out I could have left them . Over all good experience !

Don't put a dolly on the truck that will force you to use it if you want to utilize the entire space. It is a cheap and frustrating way to charge people 14 dollars. IE, I have to break the seal to move it out of the way to fully load the truck. Shady business practice.

I totally disagree with the 3 gals of fuel having to be added after vehicle was turned in by leaving it in line to be checked out as we filled the truck back to 5/8 of a tank as it was when we picked it up in Waycross. We took several pictures of the entire truck including the fuel gauge location and in our opinion the gauge neddle was left where we found it. I feel we should be refunded the 3 gallon charge to my card. I also disagree with your policy of having to rent the dolly or hand truck just because you rent the larger truck. You know people will need this tool to move heavy material or appliances so you use this oppurtunity to make more money off the customer including adding more cost because we rented the truck for more than 2 days.

The experience was pleasant. My only complaint is that your company doesn't take CashApp. I had to get my son to come to the location use his credit card because I couldn't pay with my CashApp. It was an inconvenience because he was at my storage unit moving boxes out. Many people use CashApp, Chime, Venmo more than bank cards and credit cards.

Unfortunately the van was in very rough shape mechanically. The front tires kept going flat.. The top of the windshield leaks all in the van when it rains. The brakes where grinding... And the transmission kept slipping. We had reported this multiple times to the store we got it from but was passed off every time. They absolutely refused to trade into a safer van. So honestly would not rent from this location again..

The unload movers in GA that I hired through U-Haul we’re as terrible as it gets, damaged or completely broke each item they “moved” and I had to tell them to just stop and to leave after unloading less than 10 items from my U-Haul. If I could give them a negative star rating I would.

I have worked with the Mgr before and he is awesome. His customer service is perfect. He truly takes care of his customers he puts them first. My biggest complaints are: The price increase, which is just part of life lately since the cost of everything is going up AND the fact that the unit has a leak in the ceiling which soaked everything in my unit. I don't know if it's a toilet or just a water drain but it was disgusting!

The things we stored remained in good condition with no damage from water or pests. Our rental duration was a bit more than 2 years. Final access by the moving truck was easy. The rental rate was competitive.

Our move took much longer than we thought. By the time we got there & unloaded, we were locked into the storage facility parking lot (after 9pm) & had to call someone who was on call to let us out. It was a few minutes delay, but it's nice to know people aren't coming & going at all hours! A short delay, but worth it, even as tired as we were!

Young guy was super nice when I stopped in. He told me he had something coming available and would call me. He called the next day. I moved in over the phone because I was sick. We have rented units several times over the last few years and had always been a good experience. There are places closer but not willing to try a new place.

Staff was wonderful and helpful, but the facility looks a little old, dated. The only real negatives were small: 1) no lighting inside the unit; and 2) our unit was dusty and filled with spider webs and eggs, so not completely cleaned out before we opened the unit. Also, our unit is against the outside wall and there is a 2-inch deep and 5-inch wide depression built in to the concrete floor along the outside wall that is impossible to sweep. We will take a battery powered shop vac next time we go. We do highly recommend U-Haul Moving & Storage of Cumming.

I rented and paid for a 10x10 unit on 11/27/21. I came back on 12/5/21 to put a lock on and start putting things in. My unit was rented to someone else!! Just because it was empty!! He said that because it was empty for a week they assumed I moved out!! Regardless of it being empty or not I rented that unit and there was no payment due until 12/27/21!!! I just don't understand how that happened...

U-haul charges a full month for any portion of a month. They did say maybe one or 2 day additional will avoid paying another entire month. The do not pro-rate. That gives them the opportunity to collect 2 rent amounts from 2 different renters for the same space. It would be very good business to pro-rate so the renter could move when the timing works for them. I will probably look elsewhere the next time. The Management for this Cumming Office were very nice, but their hands were tied by Corporate. Also, keep in mind if you reserve a space or vehicle in an office the Corporate computer order system can negate your reservation.

De'Mon is sincerely THE BEST manager I've EVER dealt with. The 2-weeks prior to physically visiting his location, I had tried to call (6x) and get info about a 10x10 Climate Controlled Unit. The person on the phone said that didn't have any and I'd have to keep trying. So, a few days later, I physically paid-a-visit to the store and De'Mon was there. He did a little research and got me into a 10x10 CCU...in 5 minutes. Now THAT is customer service!! De'Mon is friendly, professional, knowledgeable & accommodating...all with a sense of humor. The following note DOES NOT apply to/concern De'Mon: My only issue is that, 8 out of 10 times, I can't reach a CSR at the location.

U-Haul Corporate is great, but this is the second time this particular location has tried to rip me off. The first time they tried claiming that I drove over 100 miles and loaded a full large truck came back and unloaded it into the unit within an hour and a half. This was obviously false and corporate fixed the issue. This time I submitted online that I was ready to move out cleaned out the unit and submitted all necessary info including photos and the manager was not approving the move out. I almost got charged for another month because he wasn't doing his job and processing move out requests. I had to call corporate to get it done so I wasn't charged again. Again corporate is awesome, but this location has literally tried to drain me of hundreds of dollars due to ineptitude or malice with a bad attitude in the process. Whatever reason, this location just needs better management and live up to the level of service U-Haul corporate provides. I shouldn't have to go to corporate to work out the issues every time. I think this location just hopes people won't go or won't know to call corporate and will pay the money and let themselves be taken advantage of.

They immediately jumped in and did all the could to make it work for us and make sure we were happy. They were extremely patient with us as we worked through which size storage we would need. They answered all of our questions thoroughly and never seemed annoyed that we were asking yet again, another question. It was a Saturday and they were extremely busy, but they were kind and respectful to all that entered and greeted everyone with smiles. I would recommend this storage facility again and again!

I cannot remember the name of the guy who helped us at your site, but he's got red hair and looks like a poster child for Ireland! He unhooked our trailer when we arrived, helped us get a storage unit that was suitable for our stuff and needs, and was the guy we talked to throughout our stay through making reservations to leave. On the day we left there was another guy there who was just as helpful - so you have a wonderful staff there. A great overall experience, nice job UHaul!

. When I 1st moved in I rented a truck from you haul had to leave my stuff there because they didnt take the lock offWhen I 1st signed up and paid the money they did not take the lock off for 2 days.
