The location closed early even though we were there on time (a couple minutes early) for our return. Mobile app wasn't working, and if it hadn't been for one super helpful associate we would have been charged a fine. She let us use her own phone to complete the checkout process, A+ employee.

I was very disappointed in the truck I received. It was old and in poor condition. As I picked up my truck, I drove by at least a half dozen brand new trucks of the same size, and when I inquired about switching, I was told they were for long haul customers only. I mentioned that I would be driving over 500 Kms, which is pretty “long haul”, but I was told I was considered local because I was bringing the truck back to that location. The door and side mirrors rattled incessantly, and the drive side window wouldn't shut all the way so it whistled a high pitch scream on the highway, which was most of my trip. Then, because of the completely bald tires, I ended up getting stuck on a very slight grassy incline, and paid for an extra rental day and missed a day of work waiting for a tow and rearranging my drop-off schedule for storage. At the end of the day, it all got done, but I think U-Haul could do better than what I got.

The overall experience at this location was good. However, I had a cancelled booking a day before at a different location and the experience was absolutely TERRIBLE! Just because of that I'll never use U-Haul and will never recommend it to anyone. The reps on the phone were not helpful AT ALL! and rude and careless. It's pretty surprising how bad the experience was. It left us in such a bad situation that I do not even want to see the name U-Haul again!

This is the most terrible U haul location I have ever been to. From start to finish, it was the worst experience I ever had anywhere in my life. The employees at this location are arrogant and very rude. I hope U haul shuts down this location to save their company from a downfall. - Charged me cleaning fee for no reason, I even offered to broom the truck - Charged for two days when I returned the truck just 2 hours late - During pick up, I felt like talking down and the employees were racist I was told that if I had booked it online, I have committed a major crime and they cannot even talk to me at the store. My suggestion is a major overhaul at this location if U haul wants to keep its name in lower mainland. Terrible, rude, uncomfortable, unwelcoming, racist.

Initially I had booked 26 feet truck. On Sunday when I was picking up the teuck the truk did not start. Was given a smaller truck as there wasn't any other option. The gas tank was empty but was marked 1/4 on the paper which I honered. This cost me two long distance trips and many addition pain. In addtion I had to pay more for gas, milage and labour. I was was very disappointed and never expected this from U-haul.

Check in girl/lady was grumpy and not customer service oriented. Clearly not happy working there. Payment interact display indicated 60 $fee if paying by card, despite quoted charges if only 20 $for 1/2 day. Same grumpy attendent said its "just a deposit", but this is not indicated on the display, nor did the attendent mention this prior to the transaction. Hook up and open trailer unit was good. Upon return had to wait a very long time for 2 guys at the counter negotiating, working through details of check in, when most could have been done on-line like i did and was encouraged to do so due to Covid. 2 girls at the counter, when i approached after 20 min waiting to ask if one of them could process my return and depositit refund, it was relayed she was only in training. OK. 3 other people came behind me to pick up rentals or drop off. 1 guy left. Finally processed by the girl (smaller one compared to the other, only saying to distinguish them) and she was very sweet and nice. Upon finishing, 3 moving vans backed up behind my car+trailer, and onto the street, waiting to get processed! Note original booking was for South Delta location but was contacted after confirmation, that S Delta does not have trailers? (odd as used to) so had to pick up in N Delta as the next closest. Did so then found out later that Richmond site had them and is much closer. Suspect N Delta affiliated with S Delta location to pull work. Wont be back if i have other options.

The trailer I rented was dirty including a condom in the back. Really? They did not even sweep it out. Very disappointed and would not recommend.

Convenient location, clean unit and helpful manager. My unit did not have a lock but the manager answered my call and immediately brought me a lock which was super helpful. Would have appreciated a light bulb in the unit but not essential.

Service is slow. If you have to meet your scheduled time ...Allow lots of time for the processing. On returning the utility trailer, this is the only location I was told to unhook the utility trailer during normal business hours. Not sure if i want to use this location again.

Your 24/7 online system was onerous...it sucked. when the Uhaul designer puts in a phrase part way though .."Almost There".....you know there must be a better system!!!

The auto transport trailer was serviceable, everything worked, but is was pretty rough looking and was missing a handle for the tilt fender... wasn't an issue for me but if the remaining handle failed it would have been a hazard. The staff member there was very helpful, overall a good experience.

At the time of the drop off of the truck, the customer service assistant was not at the reception and we had to wait for 15 min. Then, we were charged for a higher rental charge (2x) AND collision damage insurance was different than the quoted amount (CAD 30 instead of CAD 15). No explanation has been provided. Also, we have booked a furniture dolly which was not available at the location and no previous warning has been given.

initial gas reading was not accurate, overpaid for gas top up. If a "full tank" is required upon return be sure that the starting gas level is accurate

Counter person was great, but the person working the night before didn't keep next days customers in mind when parking equipment. I had to move a trailer myself so I could get the truck out. Counter person was too busy to help. Otherwise all good!

When I arrived I tried to do the mobile pickup but it was not working. Rather than help me the girl sat behind the counter and refused to help me. Finally after struggling for way too Ling and repeatedly asking she helped me check in. Then when I performed the inspection on my truck, the cargo had a mattress in it from a previous use. I had to go back in and was issued another truck. However I had to go back into the yard and drive the truck out of the congested parking area and bring it out on my own. When I opened the cargo area of this truck it was also not clean. Whoever used it before left lots of dirt and screws and nails in the bed. I had to clean this truck when I got to my destination.

My reservation was for 11 am Saturday. There was a troublesome customer there when I got there. I finally got up to the counter to process my reservation at 12:45 am. Not the direct fault of the employee on duty as your printing equipment was malfunctioning and that was a part of the issue with the other customer. The employee on duty was overwhelmed and didn't receive proper support and backup from her superiors. That was the first problem. The second problem was that I was NEVER told there would be mileage charges. I was charged an additional 31 in mileage fees. Last time I rented a vehicle all charges were included in my quoted price. I DO NOT LIKE RECEIVING NASTY SURPRISES OF ADDITIONAL FEES!!!!! Do not think I'll be using u-haul again. I should had it explained to me prior to renting there were mileage charges. I spoke to a booking agent when I arranged for the rental. THERE WAS NO MENTION AT ANY TIME, DURING ANY OF THE THREE CONVERSATIONS I HAD WITH ANY U-HAUL EMPLOYEES OF ANY MILEAGE CHARGES. I found out about the charges when I returned the vehicle. Very unhappy! Feel like I was scammed and I should be given a refund. I never received a detailed receipt. The van rental was supposed to be 19,95 $ a day. I paid over 80 $dollars! Pretty scummy!

The service was good at this location. However, we didn't noticed but the tires were pretty done. We had 3 flats on our round trip!!! 2 on one side and 1 on the other. Had to spend 2X18$ to fix them. The last one, we couldnt stop anywhere because we were in a very dangerous spot in the mountains in a snow storm so we rolled until we reach a uhaul location in Hope, BC. Not a very good service and not helpful at all. I had to look around to find a garage open ( almost all were closed since it was 4-5pm Sunday January 3rd) to be able to change the wheel since I had a spare that fit exatcly but did not have the proper socket size for the trailer wheel bolts. Not happy about my experience. Hope to receive credit for the trailer and something to compensate for the extra money I spent.

The self serve ap was the pits It takes photos that are too high res to load (and my data plan is tiny!) and after a couple of tries tells me that there is insufficient memory. I even tried reducing the res on my phone but I think it is controlled by the ap. The agent behind the scenes kept asking for new photos to be loaded, because they were very picky about what actually made it through, but they only talk to you via chat, and I did not realize that chatting with an agent was required with the ap, it did not say so anywhere, so I had an unexpected chatbox open that I thought was spam at first.. It is hard to realize what they wanted using cryptic 4 word chat texts. After a few rounds, they suggested deleting ALL my history and cookies. First, its a cell phone so I don't know how, OMG you expect all your customers to know this stuff? and second it is a cell phone so I actually don't want everything on web pages fast access deleted. It is very hard for me to retype everything into my phone, takes a long time, and can't be done while a passenger in a moving vehicle. I have never had this memory issue before, so it is Uhaul ap specific. The ap was slow to load and transition between screens, and weird pop ups kept coming up (slowly) so when I touched "enter" It would sometimes touch a popup that had just appeared. It kept defaulting out of the ap to the home page (such as after I hit enter on the photo memory issue popup) and I thought I had to start over each time, even though I had just spent 15 minutes entering info, (but it went back to the missed step when I restarted the pickup, but I was worried / confused/frustrated at that point.) Then for check-in at the end of the day, the final "step 5 of 5" was done, including loading the photos as before but with only one photo membory problem, and I hit "continue" but did not get any confirmation page, just back to the home page -- did it return? did it not? Who knows? I ended up needing a person both times, after getting almost al the way through that horrible ap to the last step, and wasting a lot of time. Ugh. FIX YOUR SELF SERVE AP!

There was garbage in the cab and the inside of the windshield was disgusting. Looked like somebody threw a drink at it. Also, never receive any sort of guidance on how to estimate fuel. Looked through the emailed contract and couldn't find anything. This should honestly be post IN the vehicle.

Ensure the phone is answered in a timely manner. In my attempt to register, the computer program would not accept my vehicle for the trailer I wanted. I phoned the Nordel location, was put on hold for 15 minutes then I was cut off. When I phoned a few minutes later I did receive a person.

Fuel showed full on paper but when leaving it was below "f". Tim hortons wrappers in glove compartment. Mileage was inaccurate. 2 people ahead of me in line but wait time 45 min is ridiculous. What is the point of doing reservation and fast track if I have to wait in ridiculously slow lineup. This is 2020 figure out a better system. There are these things called computers... zero respect for the time of the customers. I will use a different company next time. Unacceptable level of customer service.

The customer service was very poor. She did not put the furniture dolly in the truck even though she clearly knew about it.She appeared to be angry during the whole time I had to interact with her. I had to wait over 30 minutes in the line up when I came back to pick up the dolly. The worst part was that I could not get the two wheels furniture dolly because there was none left by that time. She just gave me the four wheel dolly and that was useless in my moving.

One corporate uhaul location in Prince George instead of a multitude of franchise locations in Prince George would greatly improve the experience. The 26' truck I rented was over a decade old and in poor condition. It was outright scary to drive fully loaded on a long highway trip. Please retire old units or properly service them as a fully loaded 26' truck especially with a car hauler behind it is dangerous to others on the road especially so with relatively inexperienced drivers.

I left my car for over a year at the storage facility and was in excellent condition when I returned. On the day of my departure (Aug 6) I feel that the employees went above and beyond to assist me. Their flexibility and loyalty is a true asset to Uhaul. Very friendly staff.

Ontario Uhaul in St. Catharines on Vine St. told me it is not possible to get a vehicle with mud/snow tires. We nearly crashed with my truck on trailer behind us due to snow and ice.

I found the staff at Nordel location to be completely indifferent to me. Their attitude towards customer is a care less, take or leave it attitude. I would not recommend this location.

My unit was broken into along with several others. Paying for "secure" storage yet its not secure, and took 2 weeks for them to realize we were broken into. They raise thier rates often too.

The cost of the storage room included a light. The pull chain switch broke, reported to the staff, no repair was made. The light is essential and was part of the original service. NOT YOUR BEST !

We were greeted promptly and courteously upon check-in. The locker facilities are great! We got unloaded quickly using the provided carts and elevator. All went very smoothly.

A suggestion is to have a staff parking area, and a spot to store empty pallets and equipment. Not in front of lockers. Overall pleased with staff and facilities. Will be back if unit size available.

The agent we first dealt with was not too helpful, seemed less than enthusiastic. 2nd person (female) was better. We had to call to find a truck that was there in their in your lot. Process too long.

Our only unfortunate problem was with an adjoining storage unit. They must have been storing food which is not allowed. This did attract mice. Their mice came into our unit.

The first year I moved in the rates went up two more times. I wasn't impressed. When I moved out I was asked to show my lock. I found this odd. Other than that everything ok.
