I would not recommend ANY U-Haul for anyone EVER. Not worth the headache. We had a full size rental truck which was pulling a vehicle trailer. While driving, we got a flat on the vehicle trailer, which caused the tongue of the trailer to snap to the side. The vehicle straps malfunctioned and my car slid off the trailer into a semi, totaling my car. We had 24/7 UHaul assistance and they gave us so much back and forth, claimed they couldn't find us a tow truck, a hotel, etc. The first tow truck driver we called (after waiting 2 hours), said they work with UHaul all the time and UHaul hadn't contacted, was available to help. The truck still wasn't drivable because of the misaligned vehicle trailer it was towing, and UHaul did nothing from 10 PM until 5 AM. The entire situation was a nightmare, which was made so much worse due to UHaul's trailer malfunctioning, causing my car to be totaled, the lack of help from the 24/7 "support", and instead of ever hearing an apology or getting a dollar back, we were charged $65 for toll road fees when we never even went on a toll road. I would strongly encourage anyone to never use UHaul again. They're fine when everything goes according to plan, but if anything gets thrown off, they're the worst company I've EVER dealt with.

When I returned it, the person who issued me the van checked it in and tried to charge me for dried paint inside van floor that was clearly there when it was issued. Again if the app is required to check out the van, it should give more options to put in any description. In general it should be U-Haul's job to manage their assets, not try to gouge customers because they don't check and document the vehicles in enough detail.
Andrew C.The young man, Jay, was extremely rude and unprofessional. He never even looked at me much less smiled. I stood in the line for quite some time although his window was free he never called me over so I ended up just walking up. When I questioned why he was taking pictures of my license, instead of explaining it he just angrily pointed at a sign on the wall. If I had any questions I had to pretty much pull the answers out of him. He was not informative or forthcoming about anything and it was clear by his demeanor that my presence was getting on his nerves. I will never use this location again and most likely I will never use U-Haul again. As far as the equipment is concerned the interior of the truck was extremely dusty and the vehicle was very fumy. There was very little fuel in it.

After going round and round with the owners of the facility who's English was very broken, and then the rude foreign lady on the phone, I figured it out that the address sent to me was wrong. It did cause me to leave an hour later than I had planned on a eight hour round trip.

Also in addition I am disabled and nearly collapsed in the store, and instead of being helped I was ignored and even chastised.

A man, who appeared to be the owner/manager, was unable to lift the trailer off the ball by himself. He called his wife out to help and when she opened the back of the trailer and saw the pile of blankets she began to berate me for not having them folded. She said it was not her job to fold them and they would not take the trailer off the ball until I folded them for her that she didn't have time for that. Then she and her husband walked away. It took all of about 5 minutes for me to fold the blankets but they didn't return for 15 minutes. They still couldn't get the trailer off the ball so she told her husband to get the forklift. He disappeared for another 15 minutes and then I saw him helping another customer hook up a trailer. He finally came back with the forklift and got the trailer off the ball. Then it took him another 10 minutes to figure out how to give me a receipt from his phone. All in all the drop off took nearly and hour and the couple who run this location were incompetent, rude, and never bothered to say even an insincere thank you. I would never do any business with this location again.

I had to enter the main building to ask for help. I paid online so I wouldn't need to go inside due to COVID precautions because no employee was wearing a mask. When I got to my storage unit. The sliding part of the lock was extremely hard to move. I called for help but by the time the employee made it to me. I had used my cellphone to get the lock to slide over to open the unit. Well, the employee that did show up acted like he was annoyed with helping me. He asked, if I paid my 1st months rent. I told him that I wouldn't have gotten access if I hadn't. I let him know it was difficult to open but I got it open but the lock was not inside like previously stated while signing up online. I asked the employee would he bring it to me. He said," I could come to the office when I was ready because he had customers and he was busy." I did not appreciate that comment because I am a paying customer too and I explained to him I had already been in the office for help with access with door and I didn't want to go back to the office for something that should have already have been placed inside my unit. Later on my sister needed to get a few more boxes. The young lady on the register did not know how to ring her up. She was asked 8 time what size boxes she had. My sister let the employees know that customers was poor here. The employee that was annoyed the first time we needed help stated, "I'm not sure why you feel that way because I've only dealt with yall one time." My sister explained his comments were not needed. I rate this experience as poor because no employee should tell a customer I'm busy helping other customers and what you need does not matter. I am a customer as well and have used uhaul for over 10 years. Also, staff members that aren't fully trained should not be in Customer Service as this is the face of the company and when they lack knowledge or lack customer service skills this is a poor experience for your customers. No employee was apologized when we expressed we were not happy with the Customer Service.

These issues are the managements fault. They are obviously bad at their jobs since they hire people like that. Never again!

When I moved my things into a storage unit, they told me (the staff) to talk to the manager when my second month came up and he would work with me. That it actually was for 2 separate units, but that he would work with me. When I asked him (Rob, I'm talking about you) about the 2nd month he told me I could have it if I moved everything into a different unit (like right beside the one I was in!!) I was shocked!! This makes no sense and he corrected me and said it does! Ok So....I was to move my stuff to the unit beside my unit??? He obviously doesn't understand what customer service means. He told me he didn't have a button for that. Really...??? I moved everything out within the next two days and will not use Uhaul again. I know that doesn't mean a thing to your bottom dollar, but it sure will be a story I share with anyone who asks about using Uhaul.

Being able to drive through a gate, then park close to your unit, and load through whatever door to the facility is closest to your unit is more efficient from my experience than a single door access location like this one. Elevator is large and this arrangement will work fine for periodic visits. Just took a little longer for initial "fill" and will take a little more time when we need to empty it.

They also did not keep 6 feet apart from each other or the customers. Also, there were other people moving in at the same time as us welcome were literally smoking in the elevator. If I get sick in the next 14 days I'll know exactly where I caught it. It's insane they your company isn't taking COVID-19 seriously.
