Best experience I've ever had with U-haul. I was pleasantly surprised. I used them only because they were what was available for local moves. I've never had a pleasant experience with U-haul (and I've had more than I care to admit). The 24 hr checkout with mobile device was smooth. Checkout was a breeze. The price was right. The truck was exceptionally well maintained. If I need to move again, I'll be back to this location! Professional and courteous! Thanks!

Honestly, I had no reservation, called and showed up as a walk-in received a truck of my choice. Almost got a truck that would not have worked so at the recommendation of the staff person I did up grade which made my days work so much more easier and less headaches. Return was amazing super fast! No discrepancies cost less than anticipated. Friendly professional and helpful staff. Hard to improve on perfection! Very happy customer!!

I will never use Uhaul ever again just because I had to pay more for when I returned the uhaul especially after meeting their requirement of bringing it back. Instead of me driving one way, they told me that was not available and charge me an extra $400+ after I returned it.

BUT! I would not recommend UHaul for rentals. Uhaul lies about the actual miles driven so they can overcharge for milage.

I make reservations for husband pick up the truck at 11am at 5/31. When we arrive there no one in the office we wait for 30min. No one there, I have to call main office and they service nice help me go get the truck from another location but they dont have the size I want. We have to go 2 trip to be done before 8pm to return. We still have go back move the 3rs time by my Van, give us alot the trouble for move waste my time , and still get the full cost from me. We are not happy with over all

I didn’t like the whole rental check out process. The trailer I rented has been on the roads since 1994 and it’s in pretty rough shape. The whole process of viewing a picture and then stating the condition took longer then needed. I had paid for the damage insurance anyway. This trailer was so beat up I had to include lots of items. It seems like the previous damage should have been noted. That way we all know what the expectations for the return are. This was like filling out papers for a new car and then getting a “Rent-a-Wreck”. Another note, is that I had already done all the online check out process, but the agent had me go through the whole process again.

Please dont call the customer multiple tines to confirm drop off location and time while he is in the middle of loading and unloading. I received 3 calls from the Fairfield drop off for the issue and the truck was returned exactly 24 hours from pick up time of 2:30 p.m. pst.

U*haul is not what it used to be. I was looking for a one way rental something your company was built on The price was more than reasonable though. I would have paid a premium as it cost me a 200 mile trip and another day of driving to return the trailer. The facility I rented from had good equipment but little or no supplies, needed to go to hardware store for cargo straps and chain. You have to many outlets and to little to offer. At the location used there where FOUR U-Haul dealers within two blocks, one of which was a liquor store with one van. None where truly full service. The rental worked for me this time, would rethink using U-Haul again.

The uhaul app wasn't even letting me sign in even after I created an account. Also the customer service couldn't find my reservation. I could not use the uhaul.com/share to return the vehicle after the office was closed at the place for pick up.

I came in the week before and set up my reservation. When I came in I needed to produce a phone number with a person to talk with to the reservation host. This was early in the morning. Why did I have to wake someone up. That was my second visit, I had given my drivers license along with credit card. Then I had to wake someone up That is BULL SHIT!!!!

Made my reservations at a Vacaville store was told two days before my reservations date that I would have to pick up The truck at a Fairfield store because of a breakdown should’ve been compensated for mileage but I was told that there was nothing they can do for me pretty Bad customer service will never do business with u-Haul again .

I wasn’t told or emailed the fact I was an express check in and it took a long time to get the registration done for it, I never got the confirmation email to get that all going before I got to the lot. It was very frustrating because I was on a deadline

We explicitly asked to have the tire pressure on the trailer checked. They said they just had and it was fine. We ended up double checking before picking up our load and the pressure was 60... it was supposed to be 30. Your staff was lazy to the point of risking my life and anybody else on the road. I can’t even explain how furious I was and am. Plus I was told I could drop off at the location after hours with no issue (we had a drop off time scheduled for right when they close) and we were told it would be fine. We then noticed a second day charge. This location was horrible.

I ordered my uhaul online and had had my husband as the pick up person. The location I picked was changed even though I was sent a confirmation email that said my original location was available. I was charged for extra miles and gas to make up the difference. The employee told my husband that I had ordered the additional insurance when I did not. The employee insisted that I had okayed it and my husband initially said I didn't but was unable to get ahold of me (I was at work) so he took the employees word. I took screen shots of my reservation where it clearly states that I chose NO insurance and that I was completely responsible for 45k if anything happened to the truck. I wouldn't pick up from this location again. The cab of the uhaul was not clean; the back was.

The truck is never ready on time We have went to this uhaul three different times and we always have to wait 15 to 20minutes before we go the uhaul and I always have an appointment and I come earlier so I can get to my destination on time. They are not organized We will not go to this location again

I am only displeased that they over charged me for the gas i didnt put back in the tank. It was my fault that i didnt have time to just do it myself but their price for gas is ludicrous. I know they charge a premium and a service fee but $50 for a quarter tank isnt just an outrageous price- it's a totally made up number. I know it's their policy and its my fault, but $50 for a quarter tank is just wrong. Otherwise, it was a normal uhaul experience .

I have not received any of the follow up that I have been promised multiple times. There was a clear issue with the equipment and this location and the individual that hooked it up has refused to hear out what actually happened to me. They have gotten defensive and insisted about a picture they have which shows nothing. Entirely disappointed with this process so far.

I arrived at 5:50pm after being told by the associate to arrive before 6:00pm. While waiting for traffic to pass so I can turn left into the parking lot I saw the two associates (one male and one female) outside talking. They looked over and clearly saw me towing a uhaul trailer and immediately dispersed. The female appeared to go inside the office and the male jumped into his vehicle. I pulled into the lot and waited for the male associate to leave as I would have blocked his vehicle in if Id pulled into the dropoff lane. I pulled into the lane then waited. I looked over and noticed the store open light had been turned off and I checked the doors to find that they had been locked and all the lights turned off. I left the trailer in the back lot. I called the 1800uhaul line and she was not able to contact the store either.

It was a whole lot better before UHaul took over, I rented a unit in the forst place because it wasn't a huge corporation, it was a local small storage place. UHaul ruined it.
