My truck had a severe pull to the right when applying the brakes and the parking brake and ABS warning lights came on just before returning the truck. The ride was terrible at 45mph and below, but smoothed out after 45mph.

The pace blvd location was great but I reserved the truck in advance for chiefs way location in Pensacola. The guy at the chiefs way location was completely rude Attitude with me then sent me to another wrong location. After 3 locations, I finally got my truck. The guy at chiefs way is so rude to women and was so arrogant he upset my father who almost canceled the whole thing and wanted to look for another company.

Add this location pace Boulevard downtown Pensacola. I was accused of damaging a U-Haul pick up truck when their computer system will not let you check in a vehicle after using it or give you the text message that supposed to come to your phone to check it out when you rent it and they say it's your responsibility. They just took 150 $or more out of my account for damage that I believe came from the person before me because it look like they took a long trip and I took a very short one. No I would not use this location are used it multiple times and brought the vehicle back with gas over the limit and was not aware of any damage That I did not do to the vehicle. They do not care to listen and want to charge me triple the amount when they have no proof that it was not there and they accuse me of it and take 150 plus from q single dad tryin to support his family

The new Toyota Camry is a low profile vehicle so we had some issues loading and exiting the vehicle after it was loaded on the Car Hauler. It was definitely a learning process because we had no one knowledgeable enough to explain what to do or how to load a low profile vehicle. It would be helpful for future customers if Uhaul focused on training Associates on low profile vehicles. Some tips and tricks would have been very helpful. Other than that we are happy with the equipment. Thank You.

THE EQUIPMENT HAD THE PANEL TORE UP IN THE BACK AND I COULD NOT GET MY MERCHANDISE IN THE UHAUL. THE ALTERNATOR LIGHT WOULD NOT GO OFF. I TRIED TO ASK FOR ANOTHER UHAUL BUT WAS GIVEN BAD TREATMENT. I DID NOT RECEIVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM YOUR LOCATION ON PACE BLVD. THIS WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME I FILED COMPLAINTS. OTHER CUSTOMERS HAVE HAD SIMILAR COMPLAINTS CONCERNING YOUR MANAGEMENT STAFF. I was overcharged! I had to pay for fuel that wasn't in the truck and I was told that's what the walk through was for when it wasn't a walk through because it was pouring down raining. Services wasn't good at all and I was livid!!!

The drop off facility did not have the unit that I had a reservation for. I made the reservation (#778053-001016502) with customer service over the phone for a climate controlled 10x10x9,5 and the drop off one-way truck, but when I arrived at 2817 N pace Blvd but when I arrived the unit was not available. The gentleman (I think his name was Patrick) told me that this particular problem has been happening quite often and they have told corporate about it but obviously it has not been fixed. He tried to find me another unit nearby but when we arrived at that location the gentleman (james) told me that if I didn't get climate controlled my things will mold, which is what I had but was no longer available. I was doing the one way truck promo so that I could take advantage of the free first month of rental for the storage unit. I had to take the truck ALL the way back home with all of my belongings in it and park it in my drive until I could find another company to store my things the following day. I drove 37miles to the pick up facility because that was the only truck available anywhere close to me (gulf breeze Florida) (which has 4 facilities but no trucks apparently.) thankfully Patrick gave me extra mileage and a free day with the truck since I had nowhere to store my belongs. After spending over 3 hours on the phone with customer service TRYING to find another unit (with no luck) my fiancé and I had to move our things into a MOVE IT storage facility due to nothing available with Uhual. Total damage done…over 118 miles that should have only been 74miles which means more gas that I PAID FOR Due to uhuals mistake, a complete lost day of moving which threw off our schedule to be out of our rental on time, the stress of having to find a storage unit in less than a day, dealing with customer service in a panic not knowing where to store my things, expecting a free months rent but to no avail, sitting on hold for a total of 2 hours waiting only to be told there is nothing available and all they could do is offer a 50 $credit. The truck alone cost 137,00 $ but if I would have known there were no unit available I could have done the in-town truck rental which is advertised for 34,95 $! I drive an hour one way (total 3 hours with going back and forth) out of my way only to be told there is nothing available after spending all day loading a truck. My fiancé and I are in our 50's and did all this work ourselves. It was an exhausting and utterly frustrating experience. I will never ever use UHUAL again. I have spoke with customer service and her manager and the employees and sent an email to the general manager but no one has reached out to me or responded that can do anything except a 50 $credit!!! Seriously. I shouldn't have paid a dime for this horrific experience driving all over the place trying to find a unit and return their stupid truck an hour away from my destination.

Truck had undocumented damage and fuel level was not 1/2 tank. Moving day is stressful enough. Having to take 30 extra minutes to document damaged and correct fuel levels is an added stress and an impediment to getting the day started.

First U-haul was unavailable for our confirmed pick up. Over two hours to get one. The u-haul was very dirty. The tire pressure light was on, as well as the engine light. We told them before we left and the owner said there was nothing they could do about it.

I know it's out of your control but the 15 ft truck I rented wasn't returned in time so instead I was given a 26ft truck. I didn't have to pay more but I was really stressed out driving such a large truck from FL to CO, plus it probably cost more in gas than the 15ft would have. The large truck is a little overwhelming if you're not prepared for it, we couldn't get it into our storage facility to load it so we had to make multiple trips to it via a pick up which took a lot of time

I've been to this location a few times. Usually have to wait but this time I was helped when I walked in. The computer had 2 dozen blankets on the order. I only needed 1. I didn't know until the contract was completed and ready to drive off with the trailer. I was told the contract would have to be redone. I could leave without them and explain to the drop off location the problem and get a refund. The drop off location was understanding but told me I could be charged 10 $per blanket for not returning the dozen I didn't take.

The tail light was not on, therefore, it came down as I was on the road in Flomaton, AL. Called Uhaul roadside assistance and made it to GA, before my tire got a flat on my vehicle, call Uhaul roadside assistance and the mechanic rivet gun to hold the tail light in place. They (Pensacola) should have inspected the tow dolly.

Original location was 2801 S McKenzie St in Foley AL 36535. Regional office had to move me to the Pace blvd location in Pensacola FL due to NOT having any trucks after it was reserved 2 months in advance. To paraphrase Jerry Seinfeld, I don't think you understand the purpose of a reservation. Extremely frustrating that no one contacted me; I had to call uhaul. As for the Pace location, It's challenging to get into and out of but there's nothing you can do about it.

The first location didn't have my reservation and it was in a kids day care facility with no signs posted. My original requested site was changed without my consent, I had to go to three other locations before I finally got my reservation . I initially ordered a 15' truck and was almost given a 20' truck. The truck I was given was on E completely, 9miles until empty is what the truck read. I had to pay 75 $to fill the truck to get to my loading destination and to my drop off point. I was unable to complete my pre pick up checks online because the gas level was so low I couldn't take a picture of the mileage. I did not enjoy my experience.

My reservation was canclled by UHAUL and I was forced to rent from a location not even closee to my home. This cost me more money than I had planned to spend. Its unprofessional to not inform someone that their reservation was cancelled. Hell bent to send us a cancellation if we dont show, while charging us, but leave us hanging otherwise. I'll buy a truck and screw uhaul going forward

We booked the truck and the 1 way plane tickets months in advance. When we got there they did not have a truck for us because they had over booked their reservations. The 2 workers had said they would call us back with information but they had left for the day when we called back to check on the status of a truck. They knew we flew in from Texas and had no means of transportation except for the uhaul to get back. I would not send my dog to do business at this location! The customer service line was useless too. They said there was a truck in Mobile for us. I guess they expected us to walk there to get it. They knew of our situation as well. They did nothing to help us. The only one that even tried to help us was the distict manager. He was not able to get us a truck until the next day. We had to drive all night to Texas to make sure we made it home in time to get to work. He did at least try to the best he could.

The service I received was outstanding. I had the pleasure of having the Centers General Manager process my return. Dealing with the public can be challenging at times. She was assisting another customer while I was waiting my turn. The customer was rude and his voice was very loud. The manager was calm and soft spoken throughout the exchange It worked because the customer calmed down and let her resolve his issue without incident. I could tell she had training in how to provide excellent customer service because that's what she did. I also received a friendly welcome and she apologized for the previous customer. I told her that she didn't have to apologize for his behavior. She smiled and said “ I just provide the best service that I can.” This is one of the signs of a exemplary leader. Please pass on my thanks to here for a job well done.

I almost never do reviews, but this was the best UHaul experience of my 53 years. The whole property was immaculate. The owner and his crew where perficient from check in to drop off. Our unit leaked during Hurricane Sally (Unit 41). A family heirloom was ruined. We purchased the insurance, filed a claim, and was paid for the physical loss. However it was an irreplaceable piece of family furniture. Just FYI.

I reserved a unit days prior to a move when we got to town I called and talked to Kristen. Then when I arrived a super nice guy got me all hooked up. This is my first time using a storage unit so he even walked me over showed me how to use the check in machine and even let me borrow a lock till I got back with mine. Overall my experience was awesome!!

Staff was not knowledgeable concerning the insurance requirements (type, coverage). After providing proof of insurance via a 3rd party, the staff was unhelpful In resolving an internal I haul system conflict requirement that required information not pertinent to the insuring organizations. Instead of resolving the problem through a creatively solution, the staff pushes responsibility back on the customer to remedy an issue that affects uhual. I find issue that requirements such as the insurance and specific lock requirements to be highly irregular for uhual rentals I've under gone in the past. This information is not disclosed during reservations and seems to serve as a snare trap for customers already under going a stressful activity with relocating.

There was only employee working on a busy Saturday morning. The employee maintained his customer service with an exceptional attitude. However, the waiting in line period was too long. I was there at 820am for a reserve pickup 830am but I was not seen until 900am. There were 7 customers waiting behind me and 3 in front with 1 employee on the site. That's unsatisfactory.
