Very professional service. Clean, fast, easily accessible.
Simple..which is a must during a moving day. The truck was ready and clean. Booking was simple also. We rented a dollie which was used only once...but I am so happy we had it. I highly recommend Uhaul...
When I returned the van there was a big sign that said to wait in the truck and someone would come out to check it in. I waited and noone came out so I called. They said "oh, you don't have to wait, just come inside". Please remove the sign or just let us know that we don't have to sit there.
Ordering online was simple but having to answer “ No Thanks “ to not needing other products or service was annoying. My mother first tried to order the truck but got confused thinking she was doing something wrong because it asked her about needing a storage unit. I went in for her to reserve the truck and realized she was in the right place but needed to click on No Thanks. I can see how someone would get lost on the site when just trying to reserve 1 particular thing.
In regdards to the cleanlines....I must say that the windsheild was filthy. Windshield washer helped a little, but from the inside they need cleanded badly. Otherwise will definatly use this locaiton again.
My trailer hitch required a sleeve, U-Haul should carry those as we had to run to an auto supply place to buy one and wait until they opened and that delayed our start time for an hour. I purchased my hitch from the U-Haul location in Northampton, MA and was never told/advised that I might need a sleeve and I had the vehicle we towed with at the time of that purchase so that I would get the correct hitch. Thanks
I return the truck with the same feul thant i teke and they charge me some fit for fuel that's not fair

Wouldve given a 4 star, but i received a call saying I needed to utilize my card to deactivate my alarm. I informed them the card did not work. I got the "it should work. Please use it." Very next time, it doesnt work. I bring it to an an associate and he has a hard time because it wasnt activated. Great place, always reliable, but that definitely doesnt sit well. When your customer tells you something is wrong, listen.
Well the cargo van we rented wasnt supposed to be rented out during the snow storm per the staff who told me upon me returning the van... Me and my spouse almost died and got stuck alot we ended up bringing back & informer them about the issues for future clients and the new staff informed us that it wasnt supposed to have been rented out. Ugh
Everything was ok but the mouses ruined all my stuff I didn’t appreciate that I throw most of my things away they were ruined
There was only one person working behind the desk and three customers waiting in line. The Uhaul representative gave me the keys and I had to wander around the parking lot trying to figure out which trucks we were assigned. When I asked if we were going to go over the damage, I was told to do it myself via Uhaul text. This was not typical of other uhaul pickup experiences.
This location gets you in and out every time. Great crew!
Just Lost My Job couldn't keep it but next time i will get it again Thanks & I will Recommended so sorry couldn't keep it

I rented a 26' truck 3 or 4 times this year. All locations were excellent in providing service. However, all trucks except one were not in good shape. The last truck that I rented had broken mirrors. The intact mirrors were shaken so bad that I was not able to use them. I drove the truck on the highway, and the shaking was happening even on a smooth surface. The previous truck had a brake problem. The brake was so stiff. Only one truck was in a good shape and I did not have a problem.
Before I was sent to the 88 Birdie Ave Uhaul location my service was completely terrible. The truck was covered in snow. Two trucks were parked in front of the truck and I spent an hour cleaning and figuring out how to move the truck. I ended up picking up in a different location where 30% was taken off my bill with an extra $50 off. The Birdie Ave staff was amazing! Next time I'll go straight there.
My experience picking up my vehicle couldnt have been easier. My vehicle was clean ,gassed up and Ready to go when i arrived.The clerk was very professional and polite. I would definitely recommend renting from uhaul.

I believe the guy who rented me the truck stole my I phone that I forgot at the office while renting. He was the only one at the location.

There are people at night who ride their atvs around and come darting at you like they own the place. They hang out all night. It made me uncomfortable and I avoided night time stops. I also had several people say they would look into getting me a dolly and never followed up. Even when I was on site, they just kept walking past me as if the conversation was over. It was relatively clean but my things have a weird smell. Overall, not bad tho. The manager is awesome and one of the other guys was good too.

I was told to walk to the back of the lot to get my van. It still had advertising cardboard in the window. I'm not sure if it's because of Covid-19, but I've always had a rental pulled to the door for me. Other than that, pretty clean and drove well. Friendly associate and was helped within a minute of walking through the door.
The employee there was very nice and accommodating. I observed him speaking with other customers as well and he was very polite.
The staff (Dat) was very friendly and easy to work with. Overall the rental was a success.
The van had an empty water bottle and trash in it. That's not good during this Covid-19 pandemic.
Another great experience at U-Haul Downtown Springfield. Grateful to have this resource and kind staff during a difficult move/time.

I rent a 10' truck and an auto transport the other day. I paid UHaul to help me load my car on the trailer. I followed the instructions of a UHaul employee during the loading because I could not see anything during the loading, but it caused damage on my car. The UHaul employee then simply told me to call the insurance company who denied their responsibility. They just said I was the driver during the accident, so they took no responsibility. (Very impressed logic, just like you paid for service which caused you damage, you should be responsible for the loss since it was you decision.) During my trip, one of the meshes on the trailer used to fasten the front tires slipped out of the tire multiple time! I called road assistance to repair it. After repairing, it slipped again. I was concerned all the road about the falling of my car. Generally, the service in this location is not very professional, if the employee is unclear how to correctly load a car on trailer, they should notify the customers in advance rather than costing customers' money and telling customers to negotiate with insurance company once damage happens. Before handing in the truck, the UHaul employee should check everything reserved is in the truck. I reserved six furniture pads and a utility troll as well. When I drove the truck home and opened the truck, it was totally empty, they forgot to put them in.
Keep doing what your doing its working. Excellent customer service upon in office rental and excellent customer upon rental return by two young men. I rented the pick-up truck it drove like smooth butter. Thank you
Tyrese the kid that was working there alone was excellent. Smart young man with a positive demeanor. He was swamped today. I get that sundays aren't always crazy busy but there should be someone around to help. The kid persevered like a champ. I just felt sorry for him with the amount of people that needed service.

Made reservation in west springfield ma location, was changed to Springfield location with no notice to me. Waited in line for 40 minutes during store opening to find out I had to drive 20 minutes to a different location

I didn't like the fact that when I was in my unit organizing my things, the alarm would go off for no reason. It was very annoying. That's why I moved out.
Great tools (including boxes & labels) for packing & moving.
Affordable, clean, multiple options, secure. Only complaint is that the elevator should be deeper.
