Could provide with a full tank of gas so that a person can easily fill it up, rather than try to figure out how much to put in to reach the gas level that the vehicle was in when taken out.

I was at the store from 2pm until 5 pm. At 5pm the store became very busy, And the boy at the register was very slow. Jacky was during the instalation of my car. When she went to the front just to grab something the guy asked her for help. She sat down and took care of customers very fast while the other guy was still with the same customer. Jacky was a very hard working girl. And very pleased to serve me. Every time I will fo there from now on I will look for her.

Almost half of the boxes that I rented were dirty, so much so that I had to use plastic bag for all the clothing that I had to move. They were understanding when i had to extend the rental for additional weeks.

The vehicle did not shift gears smoothly and raced loudly before gear shift at about 4000 RPM. Addiitionally, the vehicle was not ready for pick up via the app I had to wait in line, the vehicle was on empty (for which I received a credit), the only had 12 of the 24 blankets I requested.

Smooth transaction picking up. Off hour drop off wasn't smooth. Tried using online app but it kept telling me to allow my location but it was allowed. That was kind of frustrating, so I just left key in drop box and left truck and it all worked out fine.

Check in being performed prior to arrival was easy. Service was excellent and thorough. It took longer to connect the car hauler trailer than the paperwork. Will definitely use U Haul again in the future, Thanks.

The asian woman that works at this location is the rudest person. She has no social skills and will not help customers when they need help. I will be reporting her to corporate. She should not be working with customers at all! Myself and another customer were waiting for about 20 minutes until I went outside to get her not only once but twice. The only saving grace was a gentleman that was also working that came in to assist me. Will not recommend anyone to this location.

this location folks are cheating regarding fuel charges . I got the vehicle and during the return I filled required gas but they still charged. If required I can provide pics of fuel tank when I got the vehicle and when I returned it. I am really felt like cheated here.

Made a reservation for 8am on a Friday. Called the day before to confirm date and time-they confirmed 1st stop, 8am on Friday. Got the persons name and asked her if she was sure, because I didn't want to get there and have them fail. Called the direct local number so that I was speaking directly to my location, but it must have transferred to national, know-nothing U Haul who set up a time that local U Haul had no intention of fulfilling. Showed up on time, no appointment or even a mechanic available at all. They weren't sorry, but blamed national U Haul- not their problem. I couldn't have done more except get a job there and set it up myself. No reason for this, just would take the slightest bit of competence or caring for this to work properly.

When I reserved the trailer at Brick service center in Brick Nj I was told to pick it up 10:30 am on 10/30/21 at Brick Service center. When I arrived at BSC they told me it was in EB!! And said they were supposed to contact me! Well no one contacted me about this different pick up.. Plus I couldn't take trailer one way…. Even though it had Utah plates on it… so obviously it already went one way!! It's took me 80 miles out of my way to pick up n drop off uhauls and after long drive after from NC , I had to haul it back to drop in NJ , I live in Brick. WHY?!? Extra gas I had to use and what an inconvenience Uhaul put me through…. Dont think I'll rent again nor suggest to anyone to use uhaul!

Make sure staffed properly I had to connect my own trailer rental to my truck because no mechanic on duty and only one person working. I let customers in line behind me go because I knew employee was alone and needed to help other customers and there rental needs.. who do i contact for a discount or refund of pu charges?? the whole experience upset me and my already damaged back. i will be requesting some sort of refund ??

I drove the truck 17 miles and added $5 worth of gas. My bill includes a $30 fueling charge plus $10 for gas. WRONG.

I have been renting trucks and cargo vans for more than 30 years from Avis, Enterprise, Budget & U-Haul. I recently rented trucks on 3 different days within a week. Twice I was charged for fuel after returning the vehicles. I have never ever returned a vehicle with less fuel than I started with. The manager at this location would not accept the fact that I returned the trucks with at least the same amount of fuel. I will not rent from this location again or possibly U-Haul.

Safety matter . Sent several photos .. Lightning from a storm and a motorvehicle accident in near by ; cause (?) The facility had electric security gate issues. Summer July ~August year 2021 . The individuals employees are fabulous. I believe they tried their best to rectify the electric security gate matter .

1) Upon checking in to pick up my vehicle the gentleman who helped me was snarky and assumed I knew he was waiting to help me but at no point said, "may I help you." 2) I asked him where the vehicle was he said, "outside." No shit! 3) There was trash in the flat bed which I cleaned out. 4) The cab smelled like an ashtray and there were food crumbs on the seats.

the store manager is very rude, she is lacking proper communication and customer service skills, while picking the trunk and drop off, she was rude, misunderstood questions, and provide very harsh responses. I would never rent U-Haul or recommend this location again.

There is an Asian lady that works there that is SUPER rude. She wouldn't look at us the entire time she dealt with us, we reserved a unit on the first floor and they told us that our reservation did not exist in the computer and that we would be on the second floor in a smaller unit than the one I needed. I drove all the way from NC to NJ anticipating my unit to be ready and was told it was not. THEN I was told that the person who had received my reservation cancelled and it was now available. It was a nightmare. I will not be recommending their services to anyone EVER

From the minute we met Jackie in early June as we shopped around for prices, to the final paperwork and signing with Colleen, the service was excellent. We could have gone with another facility (Cube Smart in East Brunswick), but chose UHaul because of the initial contact with Jackie. Cube Smart offered on month free and Colleen honored that when she gave me my final price. I would definitely use UHaul again. Kudos to you for hiring Jackie and Colleen as your employees. They represent UHaul well.

The wait in the office is usually a long wait. I have been there more than once and its the same long wait. I tried calling on the phone before I book but no answer. The unit I rented yesterday the shutter does not working properly I has some issue where it doesn't slide up and down well. I was not able to tell them because they were close. I tried calling this morning to report it as well as ask about items I left in the truck. When I went to collect the item from the truck I didn't take the opportunity to report it as I was rushing to catch a flight.

When I first got there my code didn't work, had to drive to the office, the lady who helped me told me I made my reservation online so I didn't have to come in office even when I told her why I came into the office!! went back down code was still saying denied, I got in only because someone else uses there code to go inside building! Also the place is very untidy and look unsafe! I don't think I will stay long storing my stuff there.

The day we rented & needed to drop everything off a storage the whole system was down for the storage unit, which was fine. The women working there was very helpful & got everything set up to the best of her abilities. The following day however, she left nothing there for the new worker to finish setting up my account or anything. The women working on Sunday was the rudest most incoherent employee I've ever met. She called me & told me to come back to the store, which I was told I didn't need to do, didn't understand a word I said. Called me stupid in front of other customers & I still have no idea if anything is even set up correctly. When I got there she made me wait 10-15 minutes because she was on a personal call talking badly about the store to her friend. The whole experience was less than satisfactory.

The service was good, but I rented a 10x10 storage unit that was actually 9x9 when measured. Doesn't seem like much, but in terms of volume it can be significant and you don't get what you pay for.
