The access to the storage building was very confusing and too complicated in my opinion.
The staff is unmotivated unable to follow simple requests and has an attitude when shown their mistakes. I vow to tell everyone that will listen this facility is the worst until the staff is removed from the front office.

Always accessible. I had the Storage for three years and I only remember one time when I was not able to access it. There was some thing wrong with the system but they had it fixed in 15 minutes. Overall excellent experience.
The management of this facility is horrible. Communication is terrible and no one knows what is going on. I will not use again.

When someone runs into a hard time U-haul is unforgiving it appears that they are hungry to sell your storage items. It a lesson learned for with high late fees and greed. I would never use again once I collect my property.
This is a top notch location! Love the staff, their professionalism, knowledge and willingness to assist their customers. I feel safe in their storage areas as it is well lit and there are many safety features (good lighting/alarms).

10X15 I reserved wasn't available, but they provided 2 10x10 next to each other. Staff was friendly and efficient to work with during getting it and returning it.

Manager on duty was easy to work with and very professional. She helped with both of our truck rentals and was fast and got us signed in and out quickly. Clean safe location.
The only compliant issue I have was during move-out, after checking-in & opening my units; when I close the door while I cart a load out to my truck and return, it sets off the alarm when I open the unit door again to get another load. Two of my 3 units were located immediately next to an alarm speaker which is so loud it caused a ringing in my ears especially after having to make numerous trips to unload my units. When I'm checked-in to the facility, my units' doors shouldn't trigger an alarm until after I check-out when no one should be opening the doors on my locked down units.
The storage experience was good. The hours was great for us. The storage area was large enough for all of the things that we had, Above all, the rental was FREE for a month because of the rental of the truck!! Thank You, Thank You and Thanks again for your service. Be Blessed and Stay Safe. Martha
This facility needs a new manager. Nicole is a very nasty and rude person. She should not be in a manager at all. I will never recommend anyone to this location as long as she is there. Uhaul as a whole is a good company but this manager needs people skills. Rude rude rude rude and unfriendly and disrespectful.
The facility and uhaul truck rental was great. Perfect size for what I needed. They man that helped with my reservations was really great. The day I actually picked up the truck the staff was not super professional and were having personal conversations instead of explaining the process. It was my first time renting a uhaul so I had a lot of questions, but they seemed distracted.
I have rented a storage unit at this facility for several years. The staff have always been rude and did not give a sense of being willing to help. They acted like we were bothering them when we had any interaction.
In the midst of a worsening COVID 19 Pandemic in Texas not one employee in the office was wearing a face mask. As a large corporate entity I was shocked that U haul is not following local and CDC guidance.

I would definitely recommend U-Haul East Plano for moving and storage. I have rented trucks and trailers from them on multiple occasions and their customer service was always top notch. The first month free was a big draw for me to use their storage unit plus the proximity to my home. Nicole Andrade and her team do a great job. Hats off to all!

Nicole, the manager and her staff (Anita) went above and beyond.for us every time! Our move required trucks and storage. We began on 8/28 and moved out of our final storage unit on Saturday 2/1. :).

So far everything unpacked seems to be in good condition. Our T.V. has not been checked out yet. That may be several wks. Despite a large "bug bait" inside the door, we still had roaches.

Nicole, Shasta, and Bill are fantastic! The storage unit is brand new. It was super easy to unload a 15' truck into the unit. The computer software system caused the only headaches of the day.

The only thing that was annoying is that I reserved a 10x15 drive up unit two weeks prior, the day i checked in they said they didnt have any of those so I had to get a 10x10 and a 10x5.
This facility is the gold standard for equipment rental, supplies and storage rental units. The staff was consistently helpful, courteous and knowledgeable while the website user friendly.

Disconnect between phone reservation and onsite agent. Responses to inquiries were not very helpful when onsite. Normally, this facility is the best, which is reason for above avg rating.
The boxes arrived in time and the office set a delivery time according to our preferences. The staff was friendly and provided useful advice.

My climate controlled unit on the second level was usually hot due to the window right next to it. If there were a way to do away with certain windows or to add additional shade would be nice.

Unsatisfied with communication for UBOX shipment was told during delivery/email different info. I had to find where and when my shipment could be sent. Driver was 2 hours late with delivery.

I believe you should pro-rate any unused days when a unit is emptied. I was expecting some refund. There is too much competition from other storage facilities. I will research them next time.
