Everyone was so friendly & helpful. However movinghelp.com was an hour and a half late. They made 3 trips because of the way they loaded the truck. It cost me $300 for their mistakes. Extra mileage, an extra day & time! If I was Uhaul, I wouldn't recommend them anymore. There were very friendly but that doesn't cut it.

My reservation said I could pick up the truck at 8am at location off of pines. I showed up at 815 and was told they didn’t have my truck and I needed to go to the Adams and sprague location. When I got there at 840 I was told I had to wait till 9 when they opened and then had to wait 40 minutes in line to get my truck. When I finally got to see the customer service rep they informed me the person who took reservation messed up with return info and was able to drop the bill by changing it to the correct info. Wait times are ridiculous Customer service was rude Reservation system and misquotes seem to happen a lot because one of your reps said they get complaints daily about mistakes You have apparently gotten too big to care about your customers

people at my end were great the people who I contacted at the main office told me when I made the reservation that I could keep the truck till sun afternoon then the day before I picked up the truck the guy from my local store called and said that I could only keep the truck till sun morning. this caused me to have to cancel my plans and I am very unhappy about that as I had to make other arrangements. you can call me at 707 331 4729 if you have any questions

I was originally scheduled for an install on a Friday. I was called an hour before my appointment to be told the vehicle before mine was taking longer than expected and that they needed to reschedule. I tried calling several times and kept being looped in with your call center so couldn’t get through, and out of fear that I would lose my appointment all together, I drove to the facility to ensure I could get rescheduled. The woman who helped me was staring at her phone while talking to me- barely glancing at me to acknowledge i was there. She then went to find out who to reschedule me with. We rescheduled for Monday at 7am. I asked if my full reservation would move over and she said yes. I was called 20 minutes later asking what I was coming in for. I got the right thing assigned again and came in for my new appointment the next Monday. I dropped my car for the hitch and wiring to be installed. 6 hours later (for something I was quoted 2 hours for) I received a text that my vehicle was done. I came in to get my car and was told, in a weird round and round way, that I was being charged more because I needed an extra part. After several questions I found out that the installer was using the wrong part and had to add something else to rectify it. When I restarted it back to them, he said he would remove the extra charge. Then was sent on my way with my receipt. I find out after driving off that the ball and pin and clip are not on or in my car so I have to go back to the office AGAIN to get it. I get that things can happen but customer service and attention to detail need a complete overhaul in this location. I was super disappointed and will work hard to tell people to stay away.

I rented a 17 ft Uhaul for 6 hours and had 4 guys lined up (for pay) to help load what I calculated to be approximately 2 to 3 loads to take 14 miles. On the first load, one of the tire retreads came off during rush hour traffic on the interstate almost causing a wreck. I called road side service (through U-haul,and they were great!), unfortunately it took over 3 and a half hours to get the tire fixed and get me on my way, I had to take the u-haul back and not finish my move, because my help was no longer available that late in the day. and I was still charged for the full use of the truck. When I went to the Uhaul store where I picked it up (while waiting the 3.5 hours for the original to be fixed) all the girl there did was give me the number to her manager, who never answered the phone and has yet to return my call (that was 2 days ago). The girl at the store, never offered to give me a back up truck so I could finish my move or anything! I'm very disappointed, having to pay full price for the use of equipment that wasn't usable.

I was told to deliver my equipment to airway heights and then was told I had to drop it off in Spokane valley. That was 30 more miles out of my way causing a total of just over an hour extra to drive. When I told the employee about it and asked for a discount for having to go out of my way compared to where my contact told me to go I was told there was nothing they could do. I told them I was using uhaul again this week could they make a note for a discount on my next rental of another car transport I again was told no and there was nothing they could do. This makes me want to use another company for my next trip on June 7th where I need to use another car transport trailer.

My comments are about the overall experience and not one specific location. I made my reservation more than two weeks in advance and I was notified a day before my scheduled move that a truck would not be available for pick up in my town, where I made the reservation. I also scheduled movers to help load as well. I was told, alternatively, I could pick up a truck from another town. The options were about two to three hours round trip and completely out of the direction I was moving. Not only did I not get an apology that my reservation was not met, I was also responsible for all the gas to pick up the truck and then drive to the location I was moving. What’s the point of making a reservation if the company doesn’t hold themselves to it. I moved nearly two hours away and instead of picking up the rental and driving one way, I had to drive an hour a half out of the way, pick up the truck, drive back, load, and then drive another hour and a half back. This is a completely absurd company policy. I wasn’t compensated for all the extra time this added to my already stressful move on top of the extra gas that was used to make the extra trips. I won’t be using U-Hauls services again and I won’t be recommending anyone else does either.

There was only one intake person and a long line. The outside person was the most helpful. As I told the person on the phone, directing the drop off location, I’ve rented from u haul for over 40 years and this will be my last time. I was sternly told my drop off was 80 miles away because the lots were full in the area I was moving. I had to drive 160 miles to deliver the trailer or face stiff fines . Six hours later after waiting for instruction, travel, and to deliver we returned home. Last year I had a similar experience with this same issue. No more.

I was supposed to pick the trailer up in Coeur d Alene, ID. That reservation was put in the computer wrong, which didn’t leave me a trailer to rent. I ended up in at the Spokane Valley location, which was a great experience. I wanted to return the trailer to the Coeur d Alene location, but was told it would cost me 230.00. I don’t think that was very fair. So I had to return it to Spokane. But overall, the trailer fit my needs and worked out well.

The person who helped us is not very good at listening. I tried to tell her a few times I had already checked in online but she talked over me asking fir info. After wasting about 5 minutes and her telling me numerous times I was at the wring location, she finally listened to me and found the info using the check in number. She is nice, but this is the 2nd time I have been there and she has acted similarly. She just needs to stop talking over people and listen, it would make everyones day happier and more efficient.

I will NEVER use U-Box again. Ginger did the best she could. But the entire operation & communication was awful. The boxes weren’t delivered or picked up when they were scheduled. Awful!!!

Issues with payment. Double charged when I was on automatic, so took off of automatic. Then the system changed, and the charges lagged a solid week or so to my bank (Bank insisted was Uhaul).
