What can you do to improve--you can have more than two people on staff! One inside and one outside is grossly understaffed. I had a reservation. I checked in online submitting photos of driver's license etc and it still took over 45 min to pick up a trailer. The inside employee was so excited that she didn't have to run through all of the questions and scan my driver's license etc. which tells me she is way over worked. She was manning all three check in counters at the same time. When I got outside it got worse. I had to look on both sides of the building for the guy who was supposed to be getting trucks and trailers . He was no were to be found. I then whistled as loud as I could, New York style. Then he jumps out of his car where he was smoking a blunt and chillin'. Also the trailer was missing one of the safety pins to keep the gate up. When I came back to drop off the trailer 45 min later. I had to unload the trailer and drop it in a spot myself because the outside guy decided he needed to leave an hour and a half early. The girl inside came out as I was dropping the trailer off and said I needed to have the guy check it in to which I replied. "Dude left! His car is gone and he's no where to be found. It's about to rain. Do you want to check me in. She said just go!" Overall, I'd never recommend this location to anyone.

Look at what I sent in on my receipt comments..... Also, why do the customers need to do everything that your employees did in the past.....with no discounts for taking pics, checking in, vehicle inspection, turn in questions and pics. Not a good future step for the company.

Reserved trailer was not available. Substituted a trailer that was not eligible for one way rental. Took a much smaller trailer, and the attendant asked me if I wanted to buy extra miles…for a trailer, in a one way rental. Individual was replaced by a more competent person who got me out the door. Overall, 45 minutes to get a trailer that I had reserved in advance and prefilled out all info on the app is a joke.

Terrible and incompetent staff at this location ruined my otherwise pleasant UHaul experience. The person who checked me had a bad attitude and was not helpful at all. To make things worse, he must have been signed in to a Camp Creek, MO location by mistake because I got charged for a “wrong drop off address” fee. When I went back to complain, he claimed that was due to a “system error” and made it sound like he was doing me a favor by calling customer service about it. Finally someone from Cust Service was able to refund the incorrectly charged fee and send me a proper receipt for the one-way return.

The mileage on the thermos thermometer was wrong and they told me I went 80 miles when I only went 15 to 20 miles they charge me a lot of money I am not happy about it I think I deserve a refund

I was charged a $100 minimum feed to my debit credit card. The rental after completion totaled $85 and I was to receive $15 return to my debit credit card which never came. The general manager Kayla was very nice and said that I would be back on the card automatically.

I was charged drop off fee despite the fact I returned the truck hrs before I was suppose to because it was more convenient. And I was never told by anyone that if I return the van after hrs , I would be charged. And really I don't understand why customers are been charged a fee when really no uhaul staff was there to do anything. I would fight this charge to the highest level in principle and not because it's $20. This to me is rip off by uhaul . I have rented uhaul at other location recently (Ybor city) and was not charged drop off or after hrs fee. Or better make it abundantly clear to customers not return an equipment after closing because again this location is not doing that because this is the second time this had happened to me and this would be the last time. Refund my debit card immediately please.

I called and made reservations for a 15' truck. Get to the location only had a 10'. The gentleman that attended me was very rude and upset. Decided to take the 10' because I had to move. Then we load the truck the engine light comes on. At this point we call u haul and they tell me to bring the truck in. We drive 25 miles just to exchange the truck after we get there no trucks available but they knew we were on our way. Have to bring the same truck back another 25 miles . So know I'm in 50 miles in that they are charging me per mile no consideration for their mistake. Call again u haul and they tell me nothing they can do until I turn in the truck. Then I get a survey of how was my experience. This was a nightmare. Unbelievable how this big company take advantage of the people. I expect a call back with an apology and a 50 mile credit

Avoid at all costs! Was double charged for my rental. Retail product on the shelf was in the wrong spot causing me to believe I was double charged for that as well. When returning the equipment nobody was on site to fix the issue. Got told to expect a phone call the next morning from the manager to fix everything. At 1pm I came back to the store and had to wait over an hour for the manager to come back from a "personal errand" (picking up her kids). Never got an apology from the manager (Kayla) about ANYTHING. Just gave excuses "we were busy this morning", "I had to pick up my kids". The original employee spent over half an hour with the 2 girls infront of me while getting them signed up with his Instagram and YouTube channel.

The cargo van was damaged the door was hard to open. The lady in the office was not friendly at all. Returning the van we were not told to check it back in on the outside. The whole experience was a disaster would not even rate it a two star out of five.

Had a hard time checking out my uhaul and had to be moved to a bigger unit which ended costing me up more money, the staff was also in a bad mood. Then when dropping off the unit the system was super glitchy and it took me like 20 minutes just to drop it off

The guy working at the Uhaul place that logged me in on Saturday the 9th at 12:30pm was rude and arrogant, defintely had an attitude and a chip on his shoulder. Very unhelpful. I have been going to this Uhaul location for decades and this is the first time I've encountered this attitude. The guy should definitely not be working the front desk and interacting with the public. He is lucky I am rating my experience with him below average and not Poor!!! Dissapointed!!! When I returned my Uhaul at 7 pm there was an hispanic lady still there and she was really great.

When A customer Reserves A 10ft Truck, please Do not make them take A 15ft Truck, do not tell them that they have no other choice but to take it, i purchased A 10ft truck and was given A 15ft Granted yes it was bigger but costed so much more than we anticipated and charged us double. The drop off site appeared clean outside. Did not have to go inside as there was personnel outside taking back in vehicles. They were quick to get vehicle inspected and sent an email with final receipt for returning vehicle. Good procedure in these times.

The facility did not have a storage unit available which would fit all of my belongings so 2 units were needed for a 1 bedroom apartments. The 1st unit smells of rats and had several rats trapped inside. The way the unit is set up, someone else is able to see all of your belongings (vice versa) which does not make me feel safe.

You charged my card over $500 twice without my permission. The first one was refunded after I had to call you and get that taken care of. (This happened because I moved across the country with a U-Haul truck that broke down in Texas and was replaced with a U-Haul that leaked and destroyed most of my valuables. The U-Haul staff did not account for the different mileage on the truck swapped out in Texas, and without my knowledge, my card was charged). The second charge you refused to look into without me providing my credit card number over the phone, so I filed a dispute with my bank and they discovered this was a fraudulent charge and they refunded me. Every time I came into your facility to pay for my storage (to store my damaged items that U-Haul was responsible for) most of your staff was condescending and rude. I never received an apology. No kind words. Just arrogance. I have recorded all your names and have documented the conversations I've had with you. After my surgery and I start to feel better I'm starting with the BBB and I'm not stopping until I get some answers and restitution. I'm not going away.

I had the unit for 5 years following a house fire. Went thru about 4 facility managers. Which were awesome until about last few months of 2021. More strict on rules. I think some things should be case by case sometimes. My husband had a massive stroke...there making 10 grand a month to 1500 a month in disability is a huge change trying to make ends meet is huge. But at any rate the staff is very nice and helpful. Everyone has a job to do.

All storage units need to be properly fixed and not patched. Because my initial unit had a botched patch job I had to extend my already extended moving process (from the Tallahassee location) another day.

They were helpful and explained to me anything I needed to know well. I only moved out because I'm either selling or using thing things I have stored at U-Haul. It was a pleasure doing business with them while it lasted. I would indeed recommend U-Haul to family and friends.

The people were really nice. The gentleman that checked me was very knowledgeable and he helped me out due to a mix up with the Uhaul I rented the truck from. That whole store should get a raise.

Pest control is needed here at the 56th location. My clothes and linen had rat droppings on them. Climate control is to keep this from happening, I thought. I was disappointed in the condition.

have too much going on too much traffic inside the storage units you have too many trucks and trailers parked in the way when customers are trying to get in and out of your storage that was my reason

Unit was not what I expected. I later found out no elevators which makes loading items into storage near impossible. Staff heard my concerns, understood, and offered an acceptable alternative
