I was charged a $100 minimum feed to my debit credit card. The rental after completion totaled $85 and I was to receive $15 return to my debit credit card which never came. The general manager Kayla was very nice and said that I would be back on the card automatically.

And really I don't understand why customers are been charged a fee when really no uhaul staff was there to do anything. I would fight this charge to the highest level in principle and not because it's $20. This to me is rip off by uhaul . I have rented uhaul at other location recently (Ybor city) and was not charged drop off or after hrs fee. Or better make it abundantly clear to customers not return an equipment after closing because again this location is not doing that because this is the second time this had happened to me and this would be the last time. Refund my debit card immediately please.

Roger H.I called and made reservations for a 15' truck. Get to the location only had a 10'. The gentleman that attended me was very rude and upset. Decided to take the 10' because I had to move. Then we load the truck the engine light comes on. At this point we call u haul and they tell me to bring the truck in. We drive 25 miles just to exchange the truck after we get there no trucks available but they knew we were on our way. Have to bring the same truck back another 25 miles . So know I'm in 50 miles in that they are charging me per mile no consideration for their mistake. Call again u haul and they tell me nothing they can do until I turn in the truck. Then I get a survey of how was my experience. This was a nightmare. Unbelievable how this big company take advantage of the people. I expect a call back with an apology and a 50 mile credit

Juan O.Avoid at all costs! Was double charged for my rental. Retail product on the shelf was in the wrong spot causing me to believe I was double charged for that as well. When returning the equipment nobody was on site to fix the issue. Got told to expect a phone call the next morning from the manager to fix everything. At 1pm I came back to the store and had to wait over an hour for the manager to come back from a "personal errand" (picking up her kids). Never got an apology from the manager (Kayla) about ANYTHING. Just gave excuses "we were busy this morning", "I had to pick up my kids". The original employee spent over half an hour with the 2 girls infront of me while getting them signed up with his Instagram and YouTube channel.

I say "type," because when I walked in, there was continuous arguing between two "customers" because one found the other shooting up drugs in the bathroom. There was only one clerk inside to try to handle that and the many other customers that walked in. I don't blame the clerk; he was doing his best. I blame the non-existent manager, who should have been there on a Saturday, or at least had scheduled more staff.

The 1st unit smells of rats and had several rats trapped inside. The way the unit is set up, someone else is able to see all of your belongings (vice versa) which does not make me feel safe.

Gustavo M.You charged my card over $500 twice without my permission. The first one was refunded after I had to call you and get that taken care of. (This happened because I moved across the country with a U-Haul truck that broke down in Texas and was replaced with a U-Haul that leaked and destroyed most of my valuables. The U-Haul staff did not account for the different mileage on the truck swapped out in Texas, and without my knowledge, my card was charged). The second charge you refused to look into without me providing my credit card number over the phone, so I filed a dispute with my bank and they discovered this was a fraudulent charge and they refunded me. Every time I came into your facility to pay for my storage (to store my damaged items that U-Haul was responsible for) most of your staff was condescending and rude. I never received an apology. No kind words. Just arrogance. I have recorded all your names and have documented the conversations I've had with you. After my surgery and I start to feel better I'm starting with the BBB and I'm not stopping until I get some answers and restitution. I'm not going away.

When I came into the office ti inquire about a refund, I was rudely told there's nothing they could do about it because a lot of people are saying that. Well duh, if everyone is experiencing the same technical issues, something in the system is flawed. It doesn't give you a right to take people's hard earned monies. This should've been and easy fix, instead I got nothing but mouth and disrespect from the child at the front desk. Not a good experience.

ISAAC C.Get your online booking system fixed! I had a confirmed reservation to pick up a 15' uhaul for 11AM. Uhaul had my credit card on file & everything but your booking system gave my reservation to another customer who had actually paid online. YOUR SYSTEM SUCKS! GET IT FIXED! Uhaul did give me a 26' truck for the price of the 15' truck ONLY BECAUSE I refused to leave without my confirmed reservation. The booking service employee told me that this situation happens all the time with your booking system. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!

THERESA M.I had the unit for 5 years following a house fire. Went thru about 4 facility managers. Which were awesome until about last few months of 2021. More strict on rules. I think some things should be case by case sometimes. My husband had a massive stroke...there making 10 grand a month to 1500 a month in disability is a huge change trying to make ends meet is huge. But at any rate the staff is very nice and helpful. Everyone has a job to do.
