I needed a 8x4 trailer unexpectedly. I made the mistake of not going to the Uhaul website right away. As a result, I visited 4 different locations that advertised Uhaul moving equipment before I found the right one.

The equipment if not being properly tagged as out of service when they returned with issues. The staff runs around stealing parts from other trailers to complete the rental. The first trailer they hooked up was missing chain components and electrical connectors. They took these items from other trailers and finally got the unit hooked up. Unfortunately, the unit had bad lighting. They traded to another unit however the second unit had 3 brand new tires had one tire that was worn down to the steel belts. It was obvious to me that someone had stolen the new tire off this trailer and replaced it with the bad tire that was completely unserviceable. The installers solution was to hook up a third unit but after spending an hour at the lot I declined the third unit and accepted the unit with the bad tire. In my previous experience with U-Haul, the staff had a rolling cart containing the most common components required to complete a rental. This location had none of that. In addition, it was obvious that inspections and red tagging of incoming equipment with issues is not being done. The practice of stealing components from ready to rent hardware was shocking.

I was charged on my card without knowledge when they removed the auto transport from my U-Haul. I had to find out in my credit card statement. I was overcharged almost 550 $for a U-Haul that was leaking and damaged my television, clothes, and other items. (This was my second U-Haul, the fist one broke down in Texas. I moved from Oregon to Florida on my own with three animals) No one was able to help me file a claim, I had to call back to Oregon and speak to them to figure out how to do that. I needed to rent a trailer to get some of my stuff to my Airbnb that is located two hours away. I told Ashley I would be returning the trailer in Crystal River, I was charged almost 41 $for a small trailer for one day. When I went to return the trailer I was charged an additional 12,72 $ for dropping the trailer off at the wrong location because Ashley indicated Tampa as the drop off location even though I had been clear I would be dropping off in Crystal River. She was nice enough but did not listen to me and clearly did not want to be at work. Had to speak with the manager, Kayla, to get this cleared up. She was very kind but it was too much chaos. I want to mention Cedric as he was very kind and made sure I had Kaylas number.

The back compartment should be closed completely on the truck and also the dolly needs to be secure. The back door swung open and the dolly fell out of truck, I almost destroyed a vehicle behind me.

It was crazy in the store. Customers had some bad issues but the employee was professional and help everyone to resolve their issues. I didn't mind the wait because there were only 2 employees working at the time.

My only problem is that when there is a need for customer service assistance you guys make customers jump through to many hoops to get help. i know we lived live in a technological word but many times it would take five seconds to deal with an issues by picking up a phone and talking the person. and you need to put more men on the job.

The only bad experience was the check in. The agent had a bad attitude. She answered text while checking me in. She spit the the trash can several times during check in.

The associate that helped me name was Tameka she took 45 mins to give me my rental keys. She stopped in the middle of my transaction to have a conversation with a guy who walked in to deliver food exchanging phone number nothing to do with her job. She gave me a different truck than the truck she put on my contract. When I brought it up to her and showed her the mileage was different she said oh well just take a picture it happen all the time. She was rude and unprofessional. By far the worst experience I've ever had. She showed no customer service at all. Will never rent from uhaul again. And I was changed 746 for the truck rental and spent 215 in gas with no type of refund unbelievable!!!

The location and experience with the Uhual representatives was good. I just got a bad piece of equipment. I picked up the trailer for a one from Pennsylvania to Florida. By the time I got to the first stop I kept noticing that when I broke the trailer would just slam into the back of the truck. So I checked the brake fluid reservoir and it was completely empty. Almost like there was nothing ever put I n. I tried contacting the uhual hotline but I waited for over an hour and no one answered. I also called in the morning before I departed and no one answered for over an hour. I ruined my brakes on my truck and would like to be compensated for the rental and the cost of new brakes on my truck -650 $.

Kayla Bailey saved our experience. In addition to renting a uhaul we had set an appointment to have a hitch installed. When we arrived the hitch had not arrived and as it turned out was back ordered beyond on our move date. Kayla called all over the place and even drove over an hour to get us the needed part! While in the end we were not able to get the hitch Kayla's efforts on our behalf are the reason we will continue to do business with uhaul! She is an incredible asset to your company and a joy to work with.

Placed reservation for 10ft tuck and dolly. When checked-in at location with crew member verified reservation but we never received dolly. Noticed this once I got home and immediately called company to report this. Spoke to AJ and advised of this and he stated he will make a note on my order that it was never received. Dropped off truck after hours but left comment online that it was never received. Now I received an emailed invoice charging me for the “missing” dolly 150 $?!??

RESERVED THE TRUCK ONLINE, BUT STILL HAD TO WAIT FOR 30 MINUTES TO GET THE TRUCK. IT TOOK 45 MINUTES TO SIGN THE THE CLERK SAID SHE WOULD WAIVER THE FUEL DIFFERENCE DUIE TO THE TRUCK BEING DIRTY & FOR THE WAIT TIME, BUT CHARGED ME ANYWAY.

Truck was pretty old and beat up, over 160 000 miles. Cabin smelled awful and rode pretty bad. Found a good size slice in one of the tires. Not well maintained or cleaned.

The process for after hours return is a little frustrating. It'd be nice if they'd let us know we should do the return application, BEFORE we put the key in the drop box. Having to take photos and record the exact mileage after I had already placed the key in the drop box was upsetting.

Communicate better with your workers about lost and found. I left some stuff behind on a truck and not even a hour later I goes back to get it. A lady that worked there threw my stuff in the trash than she acted as if she didn't know what I was talking about. But walked me straight to it. Than tells me I should have checked the truck or that wouldn't have happened. (April 14 about 8:30-8:45a, white woman black hair and was wearing a grey polo). Located on north 56 street in Tampa fl. Other than that everything was great.

I believe that you guys should make sure & confirm that all equipment are returned to the location before sending emails to the customer saying that the equipment was not returned because it makes the customer believe something happened in the process.

Pest control is needed here at the 56th location. My clothes and linen had rat droppings on them. Climate control is to keep this from happening, I thought. I was disappointed in the condition.

The employees at this location are very lazy. They gave us a storage unit that was already rented with locks on it!! The customer service is very poor!!! Will not recommend this location to anyone!!

My unit was broken in 4 times before the security was in place the rear of the unit was open and rats came and went as they pleased I was told by one manager I should have bought some insurance

After a 2 hour drive in a nerve wracking U-haul the last thing I need was rude employees. Garrison was honestly rude, unhelpful, and lacked insight. I ended up cancelling my storage.

We came to retrieve our stuff, our key to the storage unit didn't work. After 30 minutes, the office staff came out with a different key and said the lock had been changed!? WHY? Not authorized!!
