We scheduled a 15 ft truck approx 2 weeks in advance. Upon arrival, no truck! After a long delay, we were sent to another location 45 minutes away. Very crowded and inconvenient location. Again, NO TRUCK!!!! We were finally given a cargo van. Very difficult for our move, had to make several trips and we were already 4 hours behind schedule. THEN we were charged DOUBLE THE RATE THAT I HAD RESERVED. Worst experience EVER with UHAUL!Brenda S.

My disappointment is not with the location at all. It is with U-Haul corporate. I've used U-Haul for over 30 years now and usually have a good experience. This time, not so much. Attention to detail counts. U-Haul changed my pick-up location to a location farther out. Then, charged me mileage from the new location. How is that fair? This should not happen. U-Haul didn't observe my reservation and chosen pick-up location. Since U-Haul changed the location (for whatever reason), that should not cost me by paying extra mileage fees. U-Haul should have only charged me mileage based on my chosen pick-up location and reservation. I called Traffic to discuss this and basically was ignored. Customers leave businesses due to "indifference" and "indifference" is exactly what U-Haul communicated to me during this rental. Next time, I'll shop around and see what other companies have to offer. It's not a huge amount of money, but it wasn't the money that bothered me... it was the principle of the matter. Again, it's attention to detail and creating the "WOW" factor that keeps customers. That's why I'm a very loyal customer with Amazon. When I have a problem there, they take care of it and go beyond to make sure I'm satisfied. And that keeps me coming back to them. U-Haul... not so much anymore.Lamar L.

I think the whole experience went very smoothly. The ladies that dropped off the U-box and picked it up were very friendly so I had no concerns. I rented a dolly and got there and none were available . I had to drive the U-Haul to another location to rent one from there for $60 . I was charged $15 to drop it off with the truck instead of taking it back to the location I got it from. I use U-Haul because they're the most convenient when it comes to last minute moving however I feel like I got played this time.ROMIEKA F.

The manager, Phil, and his team were great. After hooking up the U-Haul trailer and loading it, my car -our tow vehicle- broke down. We returned the next day to rent a truck to pull the trailer. The manager seem to be the only person with knowledge and customer service. The van was park so close to another car I couldnt get to it. When I ask an associated if he could pull the the car up,he played on phone first couple minute and moved with speed of a snail. No costomer service.Michelle W.
Uhall offered the new help moving service so I did except to hire 2 men fir 2 hours I do have a lot of stuff to move so 2 of my friends offered to help everyone was moving good About 45 minute later the main man from (eazy move ) this is the name of the company uhaul are contracted with start fighting with my friend because the the tanning bed is to havy and big to fit through normal doors long story short the help left and I stuck with the truck for extra day and double the mileage I called uhaul to complain the lady said it's my problem to complain to the company you guys contacted not her problem and hung up on me bad costumer service and very bad moving company o will not recommend to know oneYOUSEF Z.

My original reservation location was closed and I was re-routed to another, further location and delayed over an hour getting a truck. The workers at the new locations complained, loudly, of numerous customers being sent from other locations to them due to errors. My entire move was delayed and I had to pay the hired movers more out of pocket expenses due their time spent waiting for the truck and time to finish the move. I am SUPPOSED to be allotted a small credit which will NOT covered all the additional expenses this had caused.Linda G.

As I was waiting in line for my reservation I noticed that there were roaches crawling on the boxes to purchase as well as the floor. Other customers noticed it as well. I would suggest an exterminator so that customers don't bring them with them when they are using your productsDiane F.

Ohio customer service was good excellent! Florida customer service not so much. Very slow moving. Went into the Uhaul facility in FL to schedule a time to get something out of our box came back at requested time and our box was not ready. Waited 2hrs for to get into our box. Then we wanted to schedule a delivery the girl at the front desk took our name and number and said the manager will call us back never got a call back so the delivery date we wanted we could not get it because it was booked when we went in to talk to somebody to schedule a delivery. Overall it was a easy way to get our belongings from OH to Fl. Would I use them again? Oui!Sara F.

My only issue with Uhaul was the inconvenience of payment. Several times I tried paying for 2 units, under my name, at 1 time, I even had a clerk do the transaction, each time the payment would apply to only 1 unit then say I was late on the 2nd unit. The biggest challenge I had with this whole moving experience was the automated phone system. I find it completely unreasonable that when I direct dial a local location after 4 rings it puts me into the nationwide support cue most often connecting me with someone who can't help me in any way because my question or business relates directly to the location. Please fix the automated call system to provide an option to remain in cue for the next available representative AT THE STORE. Having spent several HOURS in cue to talk to people who were incapable of fulfilling my needs as related to my rental experience, I can say with complete objectivity that your automated call system sucks. I have rented from you many times in the past without a hitch (pardon the pun) but this time everything went wrong on so many levels that I was terribly disappointed. It was clear that your call centers were overwhelmed. I will be using your trailers to unload my storage when I get the keys to my next house, please fix the local branch calling options if you can't get enough qualified people to answer phones. The added pressure of starting a day late with a truck that I couldn't pick up because the pickup location was closed for the next several days after I was unable to pick it up on time due to payment issues and having to juggle funds. Getting less than helpful 'help' from your call centers wasted your money, my time and frustrated me completely. Had this been my first experience using U-Haul to move my property, I would certainly never again willingly risk subjecting myself to the anxiety and stress that I went through this week. I really liked having large carts on site to help move in with. There is no light in my unit and I find this very inconvenient. Hopefully there is an outlet nearby so I can bring an extension cord and light in. It was very clean and the floors were nice and smooth for rolling carts. I wish there were more access doors since I'm at the very end of a hall, but it works. If there had been others unloading or loading at the same time, this would have been a big issue. The access scanner Is way too short when you're in the truck, so you're forced to get out to scan in and out. The biggest complaint I have is the lack of 24/7 access. The gate locks at 10pm. I'm not sure what would happen if I was still inside, but it forced me to rent an extra day of my truck just to finish unloading. If the office closes at 7, what's the point of having a lock time of the gate? I raced back just to get there in time, but I would've only had 20 min. Maybe if check-in hadn't taken 45 min (even though I did check-in mobile the day before), I would've had time. For fear of getting locked in, I had no choice but to pay for another day...that included all the extras I didn't even need since I was just staying a few miles from the location. The units are nice, nice lock provided, I just hope there's a plug somewhere in the hall or I'm a bit screwed. I'd recommend the units.Sara H. | Premières impressions

The check in process took way to long, 3X longer then should have especially after having reserved through the phone and having already provided all the information during reservation. I am able to say yes to all the questions asked. The area that needs some attention is the moving out of the storage room. A week after I moved out I got a call saying there was no lock on the room. I explained I moved everything and the desk clerk told me she would check it an evidently did not. The following week I received a message saying a payment was due on the 27th of June.
