Access to get my vehicle in to my unit was tough. It seemed like there were constantly construction workers blocking the lanes. Perhaps employees and workers could park somewhere else.

With uhaul overall I'm upset with how the process went down. I was told to go to one location but my truck was at a different location and I hired movers through uhaul and they got paid almost 2 hours to do nothing because of the hold ups with getting the truck itself.

I stop here from time to time needing to rent a trailer and everything has always been quick and easy.
I really don't feel that there needs to be any improvement. The two people working were very knowledgeable and quite friendly. They made me feel like I was in good hands. I didn't feel rushed or that I was asking dumb questions. For example, I had accidentally left my mask in my car- instead of embarrassing me or acting ugly, they simply brought out a box and gave me a new one with a smile! Truly professional courteous people.
The truck had problems wasn't drivable and they rented it. My pick up appointment was for 9:30 am when I got there they told me that my pick up was changed to 1:30pm and that they had sent me a text message and that I had confirmed it. I never got the text. They had to cancel my reservation and I need to get a truck from a other location they drove me there at least but I had to pay again for the truck because it was going to take some time for my money to get back to my account then the second location worked out but they didn't have the furniture dolly that I had rented out in the first location sow I had to drive back to that location to rent again the dolly that I hade return.
Move in went smooth. Everything was great. I was very impressed with the man who was running the facility when i checked in. I believe his name was Del. It got very busy all at once, and he was perfect; fast, efficient, courteous and professional.
The trailer door was rusty and hard to open.

The truck needed an alignment, and I had to drive the one way, becoming adjusted to the steering wheel not centered on driving straight. I found this below standards as the truck should have been fixed before anyone was renting. The truck outside did not seem clean, and the windshield could have been cleaned for visibility.
a 3 hour rental costs 120$ plus dollars. trash in my book. You advertised 20-40$ a day. then you leave out the mileage fee. Screw that, we are paying for the vehicle twice.
I arrived at the time I was supposed to for online pickup and yet was still asked to go inside to pick up the key. I go inside and there's no one there to attend me. I was waiting and waiting so I called the store assuming maybe someone was in the back office and no one answered. Then I had to go outside to look for help. Finally a man was able to help me. I tell him that I need the key and they realized that they misplaced the key, which made me wait even longer. They had to give me a different truck, same model albeit, but a different truck and key. Then when I came back to return the truck, the app instructed me to pay again at the end of the drop off. I was so apoplectic because I had already paid when I picked up the truck. This was my first rental experience ever with U-Haul and I will not be using there services again.

Low rating is due to refusal at first to accept 26 foot truck. Too many on lot. Final accepted it after having driven most of the town due to others saying the same thing. Would have left it parked in the street if not accepted. Spent 4 hours driving and looking.
Some of our contents got water damage
In spite of the burglary that i experience not once but twice, you'll did well handling the issue,these things happen and are out of our control. I do advise U Haul that something needs to be done with the fence around the back or u could be loosing more customers due to not enough security in the perimeter. I as a tenant did not think of the insecurity of the perimeter untill the crime is committed.That was my reason for leaving. Thanks for ur service.

Drove from San Antonio, TX to Sacramento, CA on a one way rental without any problems, mechanical or otherwise.

Tried to rent a storage from location was given a key card but did not have access to unit, talked to 3 different people no one knows why my name was in the system but was given a key card that was not even under a name that I have any association with. Ended up turning in my rental truck late because of this situation horrible service and no one was helpful

Each time we went to this location (to make the reservation, pick up our items, & return items) all of the staff working on those days were so friendly. Employees were patient, thorough when it came to explaining anything as well as providing detailed information to answer any questions we had. Outstanding customer service!

This location has a very crowded lot. The Eckhart location personnel was very helpful though. I was sent to this location from the Uhaul shop at 10681 W Loop 1604 N in San Antonio. This shop made my reservation and then when I showed up to get my trailer, they refused me even though they had some on the lot and altered my reservation to the Eckhart location which was half way across one of the largest cities in America. Bad business. Previously, this same location had closed their shop early so I couldn't use their services and had refused another previously scheduled truck return.
I was given a truck with less than 3/4 full. I took a pic. I returned almost full. I used the drop box after hours and was charged $48 in fees bc I didn't describe my midnight checkout in time. I had no internet reception or service until the next day!!!
The employees are very helpful
I had trouble checking in on my phone - went through three different browsers before it worked (both chrome and Firefox did not work, but Samsung's native browser did). Better compatibility / usability would be nice.
Excellent overall. No complaints. The truck was in perfect condition. Uhaul staff were professional, accommodating and helpful. Truck was ready as reserved. I got one month free storage too, that was a bonus. Thank you all!

The staff provided excellent customer service and even ensured that the unit we purchased was secured successfully by checking on our transition into the space twice. They were dedicated to us as customers as this was the last and final step in our move and we absolutely appreciate their expedited resolutions.

We had problem opening the slide up door in back and had to return to dealer to work on it. It was ok after that... but should have tried opening before we left the first time.
Shorter wait times both on phone and in line
Dirty car, forgot furniture pads and dollies.
Windshield was covered with bug guts so it was initially very hard to see out the window. Poorly maintained vehicle. Windshield wipers do not clear water. Staff forgot to leave the furniture mats and dolly inside the vehicle causing me to drive a total of an 1 hour just to get my equipment and wasted lots of gas on my car.

The Management and Staff are GREAT!!! Although this location is .8 miles from my house, I quit going there because the previous Manager was a jerk. So when the previous Manager showed up st the location I had been using for the last 3 years, I went back. Current staff is friendly and you can tell they're not stressed out like when previous Manager was there. Have already recommended 3 people.

I have used this place several times and have never had a problem. They are professional and efficient
I picked 10 feet uhaul with only 7/8 gas. I drove 17miles and refueled 2 gallons and dropped after working hours via online. But they charged for fuel again with $7 and said there was more than 7/8 gas when picked up. Noone gave proper response and explanation during pickup. I hate the service as I was not properly explained when I picked the truck and also not refunded the fuel charges...
Was told the price was going to be 29.95 by Jake, a new employee...when my husband returned it he got charged 47.25 total...

Everytime we went into our Controlled-Climate unit I found the hallway clean and the temperature and humidity levels satisfactory.

Truck was old and had bad steering and mirrors that didn't adjust right.
The rv spot we were placed in is too tight of a squeeze. The rv next to us is in our space and the trailer on the other side is right on the line, it took us 45 minutes to carefully put it in our spot , now we are worried about maneuvering it out. We are checking other rv locations. U-Haul also has a dip in the road where the rv bottoms out.
As a new customer to UHaul, Martin was fantastic to work with during my transition from my old home to my "NEW" home. He answer all of my question as well gave me information to make sure that every visit was just as good as my last visit to my storage. All of my items were well taken care of as promised and the customer service was OUTSTANDING!!! Thank you for your support.

This location was very help and worked with me through this pandemic. Awesome staff, except one individual who was rude and he very demanding on payment or I'd lose my unit. Thankfully I requested upper management and that gentleman helped me and worked with me so Uhaul can receive payment and I wouldn't lose my personal belongings. Wonderful experience, expect maybe that one guy that needs to be reminded that not everyone has a job or getting full hours to make full payment. We are all scared and stressed out and demanding payment with everything going on is hard. Thank you everyone else for being helpful and nice.
The staff at the Eckhert location was very friendly and helpful. I had gone to the Grissom location and the staff their were not as knowledgeable and all facilities were indoors. I needed an outdoor location for storage and was referred to Eckhert. Very happy I was as I would have preferred to the staff and knowledge there.

Over all my experience wasn't bad, the below average rating became what it was as a result of my final experience with U-haul. With this current storage, I checked out roughly a week before my due date and felt I should have received a pro-rated refund. When I asked about this, I was told that this was not an option. Ultimately I would rent storage from U-haul but was not happy about this experience.

One of the best "in-house" U-Haul rental experiences yet! I received exceptional assistance, including the sweetest gentlemen who helped me with the storage building unit. He said the kindest words to me, that will stay with me forever: "From one Veteran to another, I thank you for your service!" I am a travel nurse, and I told him that the reason that I got into Nursing is a desire to help during war time. He said, "He (and pointed up to God) works in mysterious ways!" "Amen," I said and my heart is filled with gladness to help others and be appreciated during this crisis situation. I had not thought of myself as a Veteran (I always wanted to serve, but I am too old now). Thank you U-Haul for assisting me on numerous occasions with across country moves, which has been invaluable to me!!

Lani and her crew were great! The facility is well maintained by all the employees, showing pride and professionalism. We used storage, trucks, and U-Box facilities; and we were always kept informed and well taken care of. Although we usually do not 'recommend' we would for this business.
In hindsight I should have gotten an indoor temperature controlled unit as some of my belongings were slightly damaged by heat. Other than that, I was content with your service.
One of the nights I went to get some things out of my storage facility I was not able to get in although it said 24-hr access. Other than that, i LOVED this storage facility and would recommend.

Overall I think it was to expensive for what you get. I was able to get into a climate controlled storage unit for the same price with more space. So that tells you something. The staff seem bored.

I would recommend no steps or bumps it was difficult for a female doing the moving alone to pull and push above the bumps and to go down a step. More entrances for climate would be nice
Caego van was awesome only 5000 miles. Could have used an additional handle to get in and additional step. Renting easy, great staff at Eckert location. Very pleased.

Everyone I came in contact with was very accommodating. When I realized the unit I reserved wasn't big enough they were able to help me with the size that would meet my needs.
Fast and great service
I mentioned to the woman when I checked it in, that there had been a high pitched ringing noise when driving on the freeway. It also had an ant problem, which resulted in stings all over my feet.
They put a lock on our storage place because we are behind payments - on August 31st! September rate was already charged to my credit card. Took them 2hrs to figure out that I paid on time! Sucks!
The service and facilities are excellent. My only recommendation would be to go paperless rather than sending out due notices to everyone. Just trying to save the facility some money!

At times, it is difficult to contact the local office by phone. Default main branch unable to answer my question. Went around in circles at times for answers to my questions.

Easy access to my things, helpful resolution of billing as I moved around the country for work, climate control was reliable as I had temperature sensitive materials stored for 14 months.
At the start of my move from New Mexico things where a little shakey, the car I was going to tow back did not fit on the tow trailor. My helper did not have a drivers license. But we worked it out.
GM was very helpful the first day when we rented to storage unit and returned our truck. Very accommodating and excellent customer service.
Everything was removed from F45 on Sunday, May 3rd. I was told to have everything removed by the June 6th then to call or email Uhaul on June 6th letting you know. Thank you so much for everything!
